    Hi, so if I use this long tube, I can just apply the oil with the belt in place without loosening it? Thanks for the video. It is very helpful

    Hey DonnaI tried to reply to your statement but it didn’t work I have the long straw lubricant with the bottle at home. The tech that came to my house used it. I just wasn’t sure how much to use and how to measure it. This video is the best informative one. I believe you can get it n amazon

    You did mention that in order to clean out pet hair, you need to take out the front cover. Can you do a video on that? It is probably simple but it’ll be helpful to show the amount of pet hair accumulated and how to clean it out.

    Theres a slight gap between the belt and pad, so you'll probably need to press the belt down a bit for it to contact the lube and spread it.

    It sure would have been nice if you told us what the syringe lubricator is called and where to buy it.

      I use the long straw one he showed it came separately with the bottle. Pretty sure tech got ordered it for us. Packaging looked like amazon. The same exact bottle as in video

      The bottle and syringe he used is the exact same one I got from the tech that came to my house. Like the video said it comes together but separately. I think it comes from amazon

    Tyler, can you provide the link for the applicator you used?
    This is the absolute best tutorial on how to do this, thank you, thank you thank you!

      I use a large vial with a huge long tube applicator. The small vial just can't get where it needs to go. Unfortunately the links I've used in my resources now point to a small vial, I can't find the original

    Do I use the whole small vile provided initially when first get it? I wasn't sure how much of vile to use. I don't think I applied enough, I still have lubricant left in the small vile.

    Can you overlube your tread mill? Do you ever clean the treadmill somehow?

    • @lefnire
      @lefnire  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Clean dust and hair by taking off front-plate (the console) via screwdriver, then vacuuming out everything. That step is fairly important, since dust and hair can accumulate in the motor. I try to clean between the belt and walking pad by using a blower through it, but I don't know if it works or if anything happens; it's more a superstitious ritual. I'm not sure if you can over-lube, but I doubt it.

      @@isaaccarlisle-entrata3205 that's really good to know! I'll keep this in mind in conversations / replies going forward, thanks for mentioning this.

      @@lefnire coming back to over-lubbing. turns out you most definitely can. my walking belt started slipping with silicone showing up on the edges of the walking belt. I took the front of the console off. Turns out silicone made is onto the drive belt - the piece that connects the motor shaft to the shaft drives the walking belt. I've been wiping the drive belt, the motor drive shaft and the pulley that drives the walking belt.
      Not sure where I went wrong with lubing, but certainly too much. I sometimes stand the treadmill on it's edge when I want to sit down, I wonder if the silicone is watery enough to flow down and pool on the side..

      @@dmitrym2922 Really interesting. I may need to do a new video. I wonder what the best rule of thumb is then: some indicator of "it's time to lube" (smell, heat, sticky-ness); or just following the number of miles in the manual
