Any doll would be lucky to have that bed very nice I wish I remembered how to crochet I used to know when I was little but I forgot over the years I’ve had other things I’ve had to learn and I forgot that one
Just adorable ladies!! Half the fun is picking out the beautiful fabrics and trims. I made some tiny bunny slippers out of felt and seed beads for my 3 inch felt mouse! They turned out adorable!
I hope some lovely little boys and girls are watching this with someone who will know how precious of an opportunity this is and they will help the littles begin their lifetime of sewing and crafting.
That looks beautiful. Kate, as someone who has just learnt to crochet during lockdown, I do not know how you did those tiny stitches!! Well done! The white pillow on bed is pretty, but I think it looks too big and too white. Just my opinion lol. Great job ladies xx
Oh my I am loving all those fabrics and the bed looks so inviting to snuggle up in, infact a little cat would so love that bed cushion to curl up on🤔🛏️🐈😻🫶🏻👍🏼
I remember you getting all the fabrics- so difficult to chose from! I was lucky to get a huge haul free from a retired quilting instructor. I gave most of it away but kept more than enough to make what I will need once I find a dolls' house. I also have a dozen little dolls without clothing- that will be a greater challenge as I have not sewed anything so small. Love what you've done!
I love crocheting with thread! My grandmother taught me to crochet doilies when I was 8 years old. Now, when my arthritis isn't too bad, I love using thread to crochet snowflakes and other Christmas items. I really enjoy your creative process and how, without patterns, you make things!
I am from the South-eastern part of the United States, and we have always used Smorgasbord to mean a whole lot of things as well as the whole kit and caboodle. It could be the younger generation who have never used them.
Lovely! I just saw a video where a layer of tinfoil was added in between the layers of a bedspread. It made it easy to fold and the sides sat beautifully ❤️
I think the cushion (that came in an unboxing video) is handmade using the corner of a handkerchief. It looks to be machine embroidered but hand embroidered hankies are lovely to cut up and use as doll linens. The braid Kate thought would make a good panel around a doll dress, is designed to thread/weave ribbon through 😊
I have been thinking about the stain on the kitchen floor, as one does, ha! Maybe you could find a picture of a 1920’s kitchen rug, the size of the stain, and mod podge it to the floor. That way you retain all of the original flooring, but just add an enhancement….
Hello you wonderful ladies, as every time I’m calming down by watching this cute video. If I become a fairy I want to sleep in this bed. Thanks a lot for this few minutes of a small ideal world in this days.
The sounds and conversations when creating is soothing to the heart and mind Lovely music to accompany this is charming. What a wonderful array of cottons and edgings, laces and trims. What a paradise we live in to do and see these things.Thank-you for sharing this.
What a lovely video, Sunny helping to choose fabric and then Fleur in raptures over her sumptuous deep blue fabric, I could almost hear you purring 😚. Dilemmas- so much gorgeousness to choose from. Well done both of you, thank you for sharing your skills and process 🤗
Another beautiful film! Thank you - perhaps the deep purple velvet could be for a "home of a vampire family" project, that would be so cool using old materials
I always enjoy the soothing nature. Gosh,I had a stash of lacework made by my great grandmother, you could have used it so beautifully, but I gave it all away to my mom and her sister, the granddaughters.😞
The bed looked so comfy and so pretty. I'm very envious of all the lovely pieces of cloth and lace you have. These dolls are goingvto be the best dressed in town. What a lovely relaxing creation to watch you make. Well done ladies. 👌 ☺ x
The little embroidered lace trimmed cushion was a Sachet- you'd get them with a little bottle of perfume & you could put a drop on it & put it in your handkerchiefs.
I thought the tiny little “Pillow” with the flowers is a sachet that usually had some perfume sprayed on it or a little chuck of solid perfume in the middle. I loved putting them in my underwear drawer.
Beautiful! If you put a few layers of tin foil inside the top quilt cover you can shape it to lock like realistic draped bedding and it stays in place without gluing. Have you seen Julie warrens crochet too? Tiny. Thank you for sharing xxx❤
The lace you have that looks like railroad track is meant to have ribbon threaded through it. You weave the ribbon in and out through the lace. I love the bed, but please take off the garishly bright, machine embroidered pillow. The bed looks gorgeous and old. That pillow is out of place. I love Kate’s crocheted pillow. It’s perfect!
I am just so in love with this....watching these videos takes me back in time with my lovely mum, my auntie and cousin who all inspired me to sew, crochet and make things from scratch...your videos really are so soothing and calming. Well done on such a beautiful Item to add to your lovely dolls house x❤️
The little bed is so sweet! I love listening to your thought process as you create and all the ideas for future projects you come up with. Such a lovely selection of fabrics and trims, I don't know if I would ever be able to decide just what to use. Thank you for sharing.
I love how you have so many things to choose from that it is too hard to make a choice. :D I think the flowers look great as a bedspread. I think that same fabric would make lovely curtains. I wish I knew how to crochet let alone make something that tiny. I am sure it will be beautiful whatever colors you choose.

How wonderful.
I would love to see your felt mouse
@@marykunselman284 I would love to attach a photo, but I don’t know how to do that in a comment on TH-cam
Sunny is such helpful cat. He is just lovely. Thank you for this beautiful, peaceful video.
"The master bedroom needs..." A cat, apparently!
Sunny, get out of there, you're not to scale! :D
I hope some lovely little boys and girls are watching this with someone who will know how precious of an opportunity this is and they will help the littles begin their lifetime of sewing and crafting.

How delightful. I have some early room boxes too

Super cute girls. Really lovely.
Love it ! 💗 Needs a little kitty kat curled up asleep on the bed .

Sunny makes everything better.
These little bed looks delightful😍👏
Laughing, talking, ooh and ahh; making more than dollhouse bedding 🛌. Thank you Lovely Ladies for sharing
That looks amazing ladies, well made both of you. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍🙏❤️
I love crocheting with thread! My grandmother taught me to crochet doilies when I was 8 years old. Now, when my arthritis isn't too bad, I love using thread to crochet snowflakes and other Christmas items. I really enjoy your creative process and how, without patterns, you make things!
I loved the whole thing. Also, I need a bag of needle threaders like yours. Love them.
It looks comfortable enough to lay down and read a wee book!
you are inspiring me to finally make some bedding for my dollhouse
The embroidered pillow used to contain a scented sachet. Takes me back to my childhood.
I am from the South-eastern part of the United States, and we have always used Smorgasbord to mean a whole lot of things as well as the whole kit and caboodle. It could be the younger generation who have never used them.
Lovely choice of fabrics & colors

Awesome!
The beaded flowers look like a stain glass window
You know it’s going to be lovely when Sunny approves 😊
You should put little tassels made from the crochet thread on all four corners of the pillow you made! ❤️

I want to crawl into that sweet cozy bed and dream about my days in my quirky house full of love and art!❤
I love the fabric you chose for your bedding. I know your room will be beautiful when it’s finished. 💗💗💗💗💗
I love your video. You two are facinating. 🙂
You could always tea dye the afghan to subdue the colors.
So lovely ladies really loved the colors so sweet 💕💕💕💕💕
I would be over the moon if I could sleep in a bed like that one...soooo beautiful😍
Bedding is wonderful. Can’t wait for the clothing to begin. With all that fabric and trimming you could make seasonal outfits for each doll.
Run ribbon through that which is not lace but you have in lace pile.
Hello you wonderful ladies, as every time I’m calming down by watching this cute video. If I become a fairy I want to sleep in this bed. Thanks a lot for this few minutes of a small ideal world in this days.
Tiny, Teenie pillow is so perfect, 💗 the bedding, Thank You Just 💗 your videos 🙋♀️
So many choices! 😱
The bedding is beautiful! ♥️
Me and my family has always said, "Smorgasbord, and Kit and Kaboodle." These people must be very young.
Gottal love an aesthetic mess! That old lace really makes the bed. 😉All in all, looks so cozy, I wish I had some of those pillows for my actual bed!
How did I miss this video’s release?! 😮 So happy to be watching it on my day off, though. 😊❤
My mom always said the whole kit and caboodle 😊
I could cry with glee for you, your in fabric heaven !! Fab bed dressing x
You both dressed the bed lovely it would be fantastic if you had material to make bigger bed linen they would sell in a heartbeat 🥰
oh such a beautiful little bed. and a silly kitty.

Inspector Sunny is very good at his job, he makes sure you do a good job. Hahahahaha 😜😂
🙋♀️❤ So pretty!
I love all your clothes Kate, lol. Even though I only saw the sleeves, your shirt is gorgeous.
I thought the same and would absolutely love to see the rest of it on kate. Stunning.
What a lovely selection of fabrics
Fabulous so cute👍🤩😍💖❤💕😻
BEAUTIFUL!! 🥰
Pure comfort and joy through out.
Blanket folded across foot of bed
Enjoyed it very much. Very relaxing and fun.
So so pretty! Such a lovely cosy and creative creative film to watch on a sizzling hot Saturday morning here in Australia.🧵🪡
Another beautiful film! Thank you - perhaps the deep purple velvet could be for a "home of a vampire family" project, that would be so cool using old materials
The smorgusbord saying was used in New Zealand too.
I always enjoy the soothing nature.

I still have my Mother’s packet of needles as shown in the intro and the lithography is exactly like yours. Makes me test up thinking about her.
Beautiful! If you put a few layers of tin foil inside the top quilt cover you can shape it to lock like realistic draped bedding and it stays in place without gluing. Have you seen Julie warrens crochet too? Tiny. Thank you for sharing xxx❤
You should make a bolster pillow for the bed as everybed would ha e had one xx The fabrics are beautiful x
HE BEDDING TURNED OUT VERY CUTE. SUNNY IS ALWAYS THERE INCASE YOU NEED A HELPING HAND. YOUR MESS LOOKS LIKE MY MESS, LOL BUT SO MUCH FUN
It makes me sleepy…. It’s great.. zzzzzzz
I think you should remove the cushion from the bottom of the bed and have an extra blanket across the foot of the bed.
All that's missing is a cat sleeping on the bed. I half expected Sunny to try it.
That bedding is so beautiful❤
Absolutely adorable 😊❤
Your bed came out lovely!
Smorgasbord is a plethora of treats! Lol. I love to use words I don’t get to say very often 🤣
This video is so good you always make beautiful things for the doll’s house
just so beautiful! yes slippers.... and perhaps a chamber pot?
Ooh, I want to sleep in a bed like that!
Your dollhouse bed is amazing!! I love it ❤️

The little pillow used to be scented. It is a drawer sachet. I use them as doll pillows too!
Just beautiful

That is precious. I’m envious…such a sweet hobby you share.

Yay, I just found this again! ❤😅😊
