You failed to mention that this will only work for an oven mitt if you leave out all synthetic materials. If there are synthetic materials they will just melt, and they will not block heat.
This is so good and aesthetically pleasing. I love your presentation. Colours are also so soothing. I wouldn't go to this length to be honest and would just sew padding and lining and the cloth all together and then flip it over. But this way I see it's very neat

Is this interfacing or wadding? My interfacing is just to strengthen the seams or thicken the fabric but I can’t work our where the hear barrier would be? And they appear ‘fluffy’

I used an old ironing mat, heat resistant and already padded,they are also pretty cheap and saves on time :)

Oven mittens must be looser than tite.
