Nice video, I like how it was a continuous take without editing. Did you notice any fuel economy difference versus your Gen 2? I'm currently debating between a 2024 Platinum and a 2024 Raptor but the $20K difference is making it a difficult decision. I would pay 10K, maybe even 15K. Do you think 20K is worth it for a Raptor? I'm coming from a Sierra AT4X which has a nice suspension and interior but pretty much looks like any other Sierra.
I haven’t driven the truck enough without my trailer to notice. If I have time I’ll post my driving impressions. The Raptor is 100% worth it even in a daily driving situation. The only reason if you had the money didn’t want the Raptor is because of towing
@@FunctionFactoryPerformance I tow a 5,000 lb boat 4-5 times per year and a 7,000 lb enclosed trailer 5-6 times per year. I'm not too worried as I do that with my AT4X currently without issues. I find the main issues with towing come from the overall length of the trailer. Once you get to a 30' or larger travel trailer, it's best to go to a 3/4 ton anyways. I also have a dog that jumped on my door panels in my AT4X and my old Platinum and left lots of marks. I think the Raptor door panels have a better material that looks to stand up better to it.
I test drove one, even though i dont like the look of the crewcab....and IMHO not something you want to be mall or street parking much.....Also made me decide id never sell my 2014 Gen1 Supercab...way easier to drive and more sporty looking..I think Ford screwed up getting rid of the Supercab,as did Toyota...because the Tundra is just as bad to drive..again IMHO🙄
I don't ever remember a time I checked out a vehicle in real life where I got down about 3' off the ground, crouched 18" away from the fender and waved my hand around. So why do you guys insist on doing it in YT videos? Monkey see, monkey do?
I believe it might be time for a 6 month update on the Raptor. That carbonized gray looks great!
We just took it to the dunes, and it rips. We plan to do some mods and film it soon.

@@andytomescu2968 I would highly recommend air bags and a drop hitch

Great video and great truck. It stands really nice, did you lower the rear suspension or it came like this from the factory?
Bone stock
You mention you were gunna throw 37’s onto your 35 package. Will that fit, without any adjustments? The reason I’m asking is because I own a 23’😢
They fit with no mods unlike the Gen 2
Will you post a video when you put the 37’s on? Thanks
is that a darker grey or light?
It’s like a dark silver
That storage compartment in the bed is for ratchet straps!
Meh, Ford should put the regular V8 Coyote back in the Raptor. That High Output V6 just ain’t cuttin it bud. Speaking from experience here.
I disagree, the torque with the EcoBoost is instant unlike the V8.
Doesnt the Raptor-R have the V-8 Coyote? My 2014 Gen1 does and never selling it.👍🏻😜
Good review. Heads up display isn't new to Raptor, it was in 21-22 models but due to supply shortage in 23 they skipped it.
That makes sense

how is it in tight spaces or mall parking sapces . is it annyoing ?
Honestly, it's not that bad. The 360 camera and sensors make it easy to navigate. Most parking garages are built to also handle the height.

Load capacity is?
Maximum payload 1,400 lbs. Maximum conventional towing 8,200 lbs.

Me encanta ese carro
Well the price got HIGHER.....that's a change.....🤷♂️
I paid the same for my 24 as my 20
They did not make a 2015 raptor.
The chassis and body were built off the original 2015 truck that was designed even years ago.
We’ve had all 3 generations and model updates
