Thanks! Started outside of Ocotillo, went south, then back north, hopped over to this trail, then continued north through Fish Creek Wash. webmap.onxmaps.com/offroad/map/query/32.83398311529989%2C-116.16027656050949%2C15/overview
It would be nice if we could option this with the new pro-active tailgate that opens both traditionally and side to side. That green with black just looks better and better every time I see it. I wonder how this would do in bad snowstorms in mountainy ski country, blizzardy highways and local, mountain roads. I wonder how much adding a larger cold air intake might improve those mountain mpg figures. Such a beautiful truck! The loaded F150 Tremor should handle those narrower spots better, but I wonder if I would enjoy it generally anywhere near as much.
What is the difference between the 2022 Raptor and the 2024 Raptor other than the external appearance? Is there a difference in the engine, gearbox, suspension system and mechanical systems?
I owned a 2022 Raptor, and now I am confused whether to buy a 2024 Raptor or to buy a 2024 F150 xlt of road. v8 5.0leter Your opinion is important to me and I follow the channel. I use it inside the city and sometimes I go to the deserts
Hmmmmm. I would say you have three strong options. 1. If you plan on running HARD off road (jumps, high speeds, full send), get the Raptor 37. 2. If you plan on going off road often but driving more appropriately, get a Tremor (much cheaper, 5.0 V-8). 3. If you insist on a 6.5' bed, as I do, your only option is an XLT FX4. Upgrade the shocks and tires and do a mild lift and you'll still be in good shape for less than a Tremor. Let me know what you end up doing! Actually, if you do a lot of city driving, consider getting the PowerBoost. You'll see significant savings in town.
Oh wow! I'm nearby, but those roads around there are great and that church lot is nearly always empty during the week. I'll keep an eye out for your rigs!
How high might you be able to get the average mpg on a 37 Raptor on a very long highway drive, driving carefully and making what adjustments are appropriate? I think I saw the highway est was 18, but could it be higher strictly highway for say 6 or 8 or 19 hours straight, taking care? Thanks. And I agree, that green with black contrast, beautiful.
Yes Charlie, This is the most sensible choice in the Raptor lineup.
My friend, keep posting this content ❤❤
Nice truck bro. The raptors are cool. My 2017 f150 XLT has the ecoboost and I love it. Looking at trading it in for a 2025.
I like the interstate drives with this type of cars..my ideal roadtrips are those longer ones,.
13:58 the new Land Cruiser's already hitting off-road
I was surprised and impressed to see that!
Great content. Could you please share the onx link for the trail you did? I live close-by and interested in doing it.

What camera are you using and mic? The video quality is impeccable.
GoPro Hero 12 and some Roland CS-10EM mics.

Great truck. Have a 23. Weird, no orange stripe on steering wheel?
FYI sport mode is better in the areas with a lot of the tight turns you were dealing with. Baja mode is way to excessive in those tight turn areas.
When in doubt, just go straight. The truck will move however it wants to. Don't overthink it.
Beautiful shelter green raptor
What part of San Diego are you in
2.4 KW is a generator, called pro power on board!
What state are you located phoenix
Can you do MPG test on the new BMW 550e?
@@hashyolomaster6469 hmmmmmmm, unlikely, but I will keep it in mind
Only unlikely because that's a bit niche
Where is this trail located
Anza Borrego State Park

No just some features mechanically it’s the same

I live right behind the church you started from. I have a Roush Raptor, Raptor Bronco, and a gen 1. Do you live in T.R.? 🐢

@DailyMotor Definitely! Be cool to meet up there sometime, and I can show you my new to me Roush. It has a Livernois 6.6L engine with heads and cams.
What’s the park name I wanna take my raptor R
Anza Borrego State Park and Ocotillo Wells SVRA. Some of the Anza trails will be tight for your truck, but Ocotillo Wells would be perfect!
