Installed a $49 4.8 HP 179cc LCT Storm Force Snowblower Engine on the Coleman CC100x minibike to see if it was faster than the Predator 212.

I've got a Honda GC160 on a kart. I have a header I got off eBay and I've adapted a mikuni clone carb. The GC190 has the same hp a Predator and weighs 8lbs less.
I got the same engine on my mini bike picked it up for free off a crap preasure washer on the side of the road lol
Thing is sweet I want someone to come out with a 250-270cc engine tho like a predator 266cc would be sick
3/4 crank ik some ppl make big blocks that are 270-290 but like a small block 260 would be awesome
I got a 90s snowblower that my father bought new and only used a few times, I pray it’s not seazed but I plan on building a little chop out of it
Mr Black can you make an intake pipe so that the carb faces forward. I want to see if you get a ram air effect.

That thing does pretty good. Great value to get more power on a small mini bike.
would you consider doing a storm 200 mini bike build, there's not alot of videos on them out there.
Yup its a great motor for the price👍. I got a vm22 mikuni, 18 pound springs, auto lite plug, and a tilly 212r flywheel on mine. Cant beat it for the value!

@@Black66 I just installed one and inplace of the Amazon 72v motors. And my gosh it pulls . Not quite as hard as your qs. But am getting 0-30 time of 3.6. with 24s battery and only 80amp controller

I brought a 276cc brigs flathead that was decked, ported and polished head, polished rod, flat top piston
Guy I got it from buys storage units and didn’t know if it ran or not. I looked in the tank and gave it a shot and brought it for $40 since it was so clean. Got home took the head off and noticed it was just rebuilt. That motor has probably just as much power if not more than a stock ghost.
Also used snow blower motors are the best. Think about it. They only are used a few hours every year and some are hardly ran at all so them old engines are practically brand new and just broke in. I’ve got a few good snow blower motors. People give them away for free bc they stop running after letting gas sit in the carb. After a quick spray out they always run great.
Never seen a $50 motor new online though. That’s crazy. How much was shipping though? 50?

I want one of those complete bikes, I can't get over how cheap they are in the US, here in New Zealand they are well over $1000 for something even remotely similar. And then even a Predator clone is around $600

WTF 44mph on a stock $49 engine??
I have a 212cc, straight pipe, fvrito carb with Jet, a CVT torque converter AND a 40T rear sprocket, yet I can't get past 40mph with my mini baja (no governor either).
