A Vtwin build would be cool...But Im biased as anybody can see by my burnout and high speed pass video on my channel lol. But seriously a Vtwin minibike, once sorted is a blast that with even a lightly modified 16 hp (probably about 22 hp now) Briggs and Stratton Vanguard Vtwin will accelerate hard, cruise for miles at 60 to 70 mph, top out at 80 or more, and last for a lot of miles as it's not spinning 9K+ RPM all the time. I frequently ride mine 10 miles each way to a buddy's house and back a couple times per week, and/ or a 25 mile "Around the block" ride plus over to a couple other friends houses that live within a couple miles. I was also frequently riding with a friend who's on a 96 Honda V45 Magna to the Walmart about 11 miles each way but I got pulled over and threatened with having the minibike impounded so I'm probably not doing Walmart anymore until I see about making it street legal. Ive been riding this minibike in this configuration for over 2 years now, and not taking it easy either. By my google maps weekly totals ive got nearly 3,700 miles on it, and other than things I had to address to get it sorted after the initial build, a couple things I screwed up (like a nut that droped behind the flywheel and took out the charging system, and stuff Ive experimented with just for the fun of it it's been very reliable, even through a couple 10+ mile rides through torrential downpours. But be aware, it has often been a conversation starter at gas stations or anyplace people see and hear it and realize that, "Damn thats a lot of engine in a minibike!" Or hear it at low speed when the sound of a Vtwin is unmistakable. Hell, even the police officer that pulled me over was asking about how I built it. Don't get me wrong, the 55mph Predator 212 combo I ran originally was definitely fun but I'd certainly have a hard time ever going back to it as my only minibike.
Hey black, ive got a few minibikes and they all run great on the round slide nibbi pe carbs, everytime i try use a pwk no matter what brand they all idle up and down no matter the jetting, super high idle on choke and dies off choke unless blipping revs( basically whats happened in this vid). i have a nibbi PWK and that doesnt work either. theres nothing i can do. set float height tried all different jets needles and positions, checked for intake leaks, cleaned it and disassembled, played with fuel screw and pilot sizing to no end. and again the PE round slide works flawlessly but not the PWK. hoping someone has the same issues. I wish it was just a dirty pilot or a simple intake leak.
Hey black 66 Great video I was wondering if you could make a video on putting a stage 2 kit on a 196cc engine i can’t seem to find one and i never actually did any work on the inside of the engine
Is that carb stock? When I put a Stage 1 on my 200cc it ran poorly until I re-jetted the main and used an emulsion tube from one of my old Honda mowers. Also, is there a benefit to the carb spacer if the engine doesn’t have a big cam? Thx.
I have a stock predator 212 with the governor/oil sensor bypass. It turns Off after running full throttle for more than ten seconds. Any ideas for me? I'm stumped, it's all stock and everything is working correctly
i have one question. recently, i purchased a oryxearth 105cc mini bike off of amazon. is using vavoline high mileage 10w30 full synthetic bar for the new engine?
Everybody on TH-cam says don’t use high mileage oil in a minibike. Use what the manufacturer calls for. Usually it’s ATV oil because the motor is designed for off road use
Boy... that whiff of carb spray helped 👌 my day... lol
She don’t run right because the sticker is on crooked
That is a fact!
@@Black66 dude can i pass by one day cause i live 19 hours away and i saw you riding one time and your house
Nice. I'm curious to see what this one is going to evolve into.
Its gonna be sweet!
Nice find !!👍👍

It's the sticker. Level the sticker and it should purr along.
Hey black another great vid! .. I wanted to asked if you’ve ever tried a Cycplus speedo ? They’re convenient

Love my vox ❤ shes all i got man 😢 ...shniffle shniffle Great vid i wonder if we can run those LecTron carbs ? Geesh no brakes 😅
It's all go and no whoa lol
Get that hot gun and rearrange that sticker first, then worry about breaks!
Brakes
YES! The sticker is MUCH more important then over rated brakes!

I just put a 22 mm carb on a Honda gx 160 .. can you tell me what the jet should be roughly .. 110 ? 100 ?
What do u do if my minibike wants to go as soon as i start it? Idles really high and goes but doesnt take off.

I have one and it revs when there is no weight on it.
As soon as there is a rider on it it wont rev. Any thoughts?
E85 bike!!
I've found that if you have no brakes it's not a big deal, someyhing else will stop you.
That is a fact! Brakes are just extra weight!
