- In this video we lift up and frame 2 hipped roofs, this is how far we got in 1 day! Not to far off completion 👌 There is no fascia on these roofs the guttering is fitted to the walls after another course of brick is layed!

Is there demand for chippies to do roofing on sites in the UK and what's the money like?
I do a lot of this work in Ireland, nice work and good money to be earned once you have the first block under your belt and half decent brickies building ahead of you.
Yeah there’s a pretty big demand for roofing/ front end joiners in the uk! Moneys can be good but got to be turning them out quickly! It’s quite rare for it all to go smoothly like this one haha! There’s always some issues isn’t there 🤣🙄
Well done mate nice clean job, altough i have to say and u probably now as well that getting the trusses up and bracing them is half of the work :D specially nowdays with all the nhbc BS, u still probably have an other good day on it, for all the straps, gutterboard or fascia sofit, valleys and the rest.... But ofcourse its a good title for a YT video :D Do u guys have to do the truss clips there? It is a nightmare now.... instead of the NHBC required 2 4inch wires they ask for clips to connect the trusses to the wallplate, ofcourse no extra money for it because its the manufacturers recommendation...

@@C013ain hahah yeah mate! still a fair bit of little bits n bobs todo but not far off! yeah no fasica is a game changer! and yeah we have todo truss clips on that job! some jobs are okay without still but everything is getting worse day by day! cheers for your comment
