I'm pretty sure this is the first time In His Eyes was done nationally, and Shani was fantastic.. she deserved the talent win. Unfortunately I can't tell you how many awful renditions (usually transposed downward) I had to sit through at state and local pageants trying to copy her.
Hi Gary, Bill here who is from RI. I’m with you, and I didn’t notice her cold at all. I was shocked when she didn’t win the state crown in 94! She should have placed in the Top 10 without question!! KY??
Miss HI 1h 36m Miss WA 2h 05m Miss LA 2h 22m Miss VT 2h 28m Miss IN 2h 35m Miss Miss 2h 40m Miss IL 2h 45m Miss OR 3h 09h Miss CT 3h 50 m Lot of good talent this year …
Correct me if wrong, but this was last year that contestants walked in swimsuits barefeet. I'm not a feet guy but I am partial for toes and I know there's lots of dudes who would've been all for looking at barefeet supermodels in the High Def video we have today 1:06:00 for Tara Holland. I mean goodness what a queen. Will shout you out @pageantshayday if you can find the prelim swimsuit from year before, if there was one?
Yes it is and those women in those swimsuits have nice bodies, also it was the last year where it was just One Piece Swimsuits. Because the following year the contestants had a choice to wear either a One Piece Swimsuit or Bikini.
I was tipped off in August '95 Miss Oklahoma was going to win ("And wait 'til you hear her sing!") due to the OKC bombing. Her lack of MCing skills --- hear how she butchers the pronunciation of BOTH preliminary winners' names @1.25 -- confirms the fix was in for Shawntel.
Here’s my take. Night One: Hawaii deserved the win. Alabama second, Nevada third and OMG PHD - ND was “fair” - LOL!! Honorable mention: Texas and Washington Night Two: Indiana was excellent but Mississippi was better. Honorable mention: Missouri and Montana. Night Three: Oregon deserved the win but Connecticut - Wow! Honorable mention: CA and RI. There were definitely girls who belonged in the top 10 over girls that did namely KY and LA (the 1st Runner-up, which I never understood).Should have’s Colorado, Connecticut and Nevada. All my opinion of course.
Bill, I'm from CT and we were all proud of Stacy. But I must tell you that her talent was affected that night by the bad cold she was suffering all that week.
Absolutely beautiful Keri Litton! Outstanding rendition of "Cry" at 2:40. I love it.
I still don’t understand why Kari didn’t make the Top 5. I also think she would have been an outstanding Miss America!
@@richardk8821 I feel the same way too! She should have made top 5 on final night.
Miss Rhode Island. Cute and creative
HOW Did you get this - this is something I looked for forever. Thanks for upload!
Freaking sweet girls in swimsuit.

Those women look stunning in those swimsuits.
