Great coverage Max. I went along on Sunday with my daughter and we saw you getting a sweat on filming the races. Respect to you for doing the hard work behind the camera as well, and then putting together such excellent videos. I know there's a lot of effort put into it. We wouldn't have gone on Sunday if I hadn't seen your RV interview on the Saturday morning - I haven't been to a meeting since the Matterley GP in 2016 (I think...) - but the VMXDN was an amazing event. My daughter is 10 and had never been to a race before but she can't wait to go again either now. Thanks very much.

IMO, this is now a separate sport, like freestyle was a separate sport. I would rather watch this than the pros today. This 2-stroke is still a better sport, even if it is new again. :)
There are more fans there than several of the USA nationals in 2022, and almost none have been at the MXGP's in places like Turkey, (which probably has more security than fans).
Track looked to be super dusty. Did they not have a watering system? I dunno, still kinda like Farleigh better. Liked like they took a big pit and made a MX track outa it. Congrats to all of the organizers and riders for what looks like from the video race action..nice racing action.

Don’t know how I missed this one lads tbh them yz250 are dangerous... went on my old mans cr500 98 before only time I ever rode a bike that big (crosser) n wow did my arms kill me even after 1 minute of been on the beast . had to hold on for dear life 😂 and I’m not exactly a small guy❤
@@999lazer I'm 57 years old and was 17 when I learned to ride a dirtbike, a 2 stroke and kickstart. I have a 4 stroke electric start now. I miss the old days. Keep the videos coming.
I would rather watch these guys than the current pro MXofN. We don't own the sport anymore, and back then, we did a lot more. These were days of much more freedom, and much less cost. The FIM taking over our racing is just like the state taking over our industry. I hate being forced to make and ride what government (EPA) wants us to make and ride. That is not freedom, and it hurt the sport even more.
Thanks. I thought not when you mentioned the history of the event. I'm in New Zealand so not familiar but the valley looked similar. I was one of the kids putting pictures of Thorpe out of MX magazines on his wall in the 80s. I'll look into that book. Thanks again
