The 2024 Wiseco World Two-Stroke Championships, presented by FastHouse, is officially in the books, and it was one for the ages. In This Week in MXA, episode 175, presented by O'Neal, we set our videographer Trevor Nelson free to cover the whole event. Ryan Villopoto came out of retirement to let his Pro Circuit-built Yamaha YZ250 sing (and he led some laps). Carson Brown and Justin Hoeft put on a battle for the history books and it came down to the very last turn. MXA's Josh Mosiman (for the third year in a row) won the first moto but didn't get the overall in the Pasha 150 Open Pro class and everyone else had a blast racing two-strokes on the Glen Helen National track. @@markbauer909westend KTM 250SX-F has 44hp / 21lb-ft, 237lb wet . YZ250 has 43hp / 27lb-ft, 227lb wet . Hardly "destroys". Almost identical, give or take. They are cheaper to maintain though, and cheaper to repair. And they are easier to "mod" as far as porting, head shaving, etc. And the funfactor is always up there. But people think they are miles ahead of a modern 4-stroke in overall performance. Not really. It doesn't even have electric start, or EFI. Sure, you don't "need" them, but they are better to have.

It’s on my bucket list to do this race one day cause I live in South Florida, and I never have raced out of Florida. and I know I’m missing out on some extremely fun tracks in this country. I would probably say hitting as many tracks as I can would be final wishes..🙌🙏🇺🇸✌️🤙🙏👊

@@fifteensevenllc157 well, they have already tried the dream race just a few years ago, that did not last, they tried the women's Pro motocross, that flunked and they are just bringing it back to be pc, so any of these knock-off Pro races, rarely survive, because someone has to pay for it.
The track wasn't even close to a normal national setup... it was tamed down to minimilize injuries

4 strokes were really a bad thing for the industry and sport. I like my 4 stroke, but the racing, sound, expenses are so much better with 2 strokes.

I got either a rock or mud lodged in the chain/sprocket. Big bummer but it happens sometimes on 125/150s. I rocked it back and forth for a bit and got it going and finished the moto

There isn't really much to decipher......Here's what we have.....you say that you're really tired of seeing Glen Helen. The title mentions that the race is at Glen Helen. I suggested that a rational thinking person who is tired of seeing something, would stop viewing whatever it is they are tired of seeing. Having said that, I find it quite odd that not only did you click on the video, you took the time to let us all know that you are tired of Glen Helen. The logical question to ask is, "So why did you watch the video?"
