The characters constantly communicating through a battle like that is really cool. Seems really realistic honestly instead of everyone just charging at the monster and fighting in silence, and feels like they're just having fun and hanging out instead of being in an actually dangerous situation where one of them could die. Btw, you're really good at explaining things. Very easy to understand.
Omg man, you still uploading! I remember your videos from years and years ago! I was so young and loved your videos! For some reason I remembered your channel and decided to check and here you are! Keep it up! The nostalgia I got from watching the old intro songs, damn
I requested this game when doing your old Super Mario Maker challenge, so in a way, thanks for doing the review...Though I haven't really played much of the game, so you've given me a good incentive to turn on that Wii U and play.
Pretty good review overall, although I'd add one thing. You gain experience from sidequests which usually involve hunting monsters you'd usually be fighting anyway. So the level grinding could be mostly avoided if you picked up sidequests as you saw them
So happy you decided to review this. Xenoblade Chronicles is one of my favorite games of all time for how much of an unforgettable experience it is. Sure there are some flubs, but I had too much fun to even care.
Funny, I AM glad I have waited so long to play it. I'll be playing the superior Definitive Edition for the fist time. You had a much crappier first experience with it than I'll have.
You Will Know Our Names, BEST SONG EVER! For me at least, as I have a lot of fun playing this game; though didn't have time to play because of college, so I decide to play it during my christmas break; good thing I have this on Wii U though.
Xenoblade is just so amazing. One of my favorite games of all time. No hate on xenoblade 2 but there is no way topping the first one. It's just that good.
I played it on the N3DS and loved every minute of it. Some boss battles were really tough, but that usually wasn't because of a level difference but more so of using the wrong strategy. I do remember a part where I think you had to play as Melia, which was pretty tough. The game is on sale in Wii U eShop (EU) so I think I'll pick it up there as well. I think I wouldn't mind playing this on the big screen.
I picked this up when it was rereleases on the 3DS and also regretted not having pickes it up sooner. Did you end up playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2? I loved it!
now for new viewers I need to clear things up, this game IS an open world, while it has loading screens, open world games don't NEED to be seamless to be "open world" it just needs to let you explore massive areas freely, you don't HAVE to follow the story if you don't want, you can explore, while seamless open world games are about the only open world games today, loading screens don't make a game "not an open world game" thank you.
Never mind. When I saw "first place", "steal", and "Red", I immediately thought of MK8DX. Now I realize that "Red" is referring to RedToa. At first, I thought it was referring to red shells in MK. After thinking about it a little more, I'm starting to think it's a Mario Party game.
OK I am about to go on a rant if I'm by myself here. I love this game to bits, don't get me wrong, but its so.DAM.HARD! Did anyone spend more than a month on the ambush level at the High Entia, cuz I've spent almost half a year on it and I STILL can't do it DD:

Man I missed your comfy reviews, I love your work dude keep at it please!
6:30: "incorporate some usage of the motion controls, like swinging the wiimote to perform a quicktime event" said nobody ever
...but...I just said it... XD
I was just thinking about you and your channel. Glad to see your video. Well done!
Cool review. And here I was thinking about grabbing the wiiu version.
Waited years for you to possibly review this game, I'm so glad you like it :)
Happy New Year, Frequenczy!

Great review for a great game man! Keep it up!
Oh wow I saw this review in the future :)

This game will take at least 4-5 weeks depending on your free time. Long but yet so good.
I don't even like this game but the soundtrack is honestly god-like

Please tell me you also have The Last Story and plan to review it
I got this on the WiiU sale yesterday now I just need to find 70 hours to play.
I picked this up when it was rereleases on the 3DS and also regretted not having pickes it up sooner. Did you end up playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2? I loved it!
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee for your next review! I got no other game ideas :T

Will you be reviewing Super Smash Bros Ultimate?
Next Xenoblade 2 review.
Next game: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

Ahh, reviews like this, are why I'm a firm believer in 'quality over quantity'.
Played the game for 20 hours on the 3DS before dropping it. I just didn't enjoy the combat system.
Can't say you didn't give it a fair shot, that's for sure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shulk is the best!
Play it with dolphin emulator people, those fan made HD texture mods helps make the game look gooooood.
New 3ds ver was uninteresting
Sweet! Now review Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and I'll be even happier.
