Exactly what my thoughts were. We will definitely head back next summer and probably do it as an out and back on the other side, to avoid the scrambling. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and comment. I really enjoy making these videos for people, and I love to get feedback😁 I will keep them coming.
Another wonderful video. Beautiful, beautiful.... I like Tent Ridge in white as well, but I am worried about the windy climate there. Thank you very much for the clip.
Greetings again from Scotland. Good call with turning around. A younger version of myself would have done the same, even if I had ice axe and crampons. That kind of snow isn’t so fun on steep rock. Sadly the current version of myself is battling the dreaded lurgy, all while a high pressure system has settled over Scotland for the next few days.
Greetings Anthony😁 It was definately to scetchy. We will go back next summer and do it as an out and back on the other side of the ridge to avoid the scrambling. My sister really wants to do this hike, but she doesn't like scrambling. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
It's a tough one for sure. I am planning on doing it again next summer as an out and back on the other side to avoid the scrambling. My sister really wants to complete this one, but she doesn't like scrambling. Thanks for watching and commenting Emma😁
@EmmaLead11 I don't mind a little scrambling on a hike, but if there is major scrambling I will avoid the hike all together. I am not getting any younger🤣
Exactly Dave. We met a hiker a long the trail, and he said that all that snow came down the previous day when he was hiking up to Tryst Lake. Thanks for watching and commenting Dave😁
@@LIVEONALBERTA This time of the year can be tricky thats for sure, I have been out on a nice day then wham in comes the wind and visibility is down to 50 feet. that is why I always have enough great to stay over night if required.
@davebloggs I am the same Dave, I always carry extra gear just in case. It sucks because my pack is so heavy. But I always want to be prepared in any season
@@LIVEONALBERTA summer and winter my pack is pretty much the same, a few extra things for winter, no need for a tent as a shelter is way warmer with an over night fire, people often ask me if im camping when they see me and my pack at early oclock in the mountains my answer is always I hope not hahahaha. but sometimes if i find myself a long way out I will stay over night, getting to old for 30 kms in one day. thats my excuse and Im sticking to it. 🙂
Knowing when to call it is a very valuable commodity Cary...live to hike another day👍

I also have had people ask me if I was backpacking. I say no, just out for a day hike🤣🤣🤣
