    Wow have they every changed all that. the steps have all been rebuilt and are twice as wide and railing on the bridges etc. not been there in a long time. i dont tend to do that route i do a more top down approach or if i go up on the shown paths I come back down on riders of Rohan go under the big pipe follow the trail and either turn right back to the top which is my preferred route or head left down riders, that riders trail is a very old trail northern end of the old Oregon trail network and was used by the very early peoples of the area.

      Ya they definitely did a lot of work on the trail. I didn't know about the trails you are talking about. I may have to explore around there next summer. Once again you are a wealth of info Dave😁 Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

      @@LIVEONALBERTA If you come in from the top climbers route you pass some really cool petroglyphs like the ones in grotto canyon made by the same people. .I would not do that way in winter very dangerous but summer is good.
