Dawn of Flashpoint (Poseidon)

This is the tech demo that Bohemia Interactive showcased in 1997 that later became the game "Flashpoint: Status Quo" and finally Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. I'm showing here the 3DFX version of this tech demo. It's a very early build of the game but it's interesting. We can see some notable differences like different buildings, different vehicles, different water, different roads, bridges, railroads and so on. It's taking place on a different map that seems to use some textures that were later reused. The layout of the map reminds a little on the Nogova island that was used in the expansion "Resistance".

No, "Status Quo" was never released to public afaik. You can get some older versions like 1.0 and 1.46 on some "abandonware" sites and for 1.96 you can use the downgrade patch for 1.99 version here: forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/142288-unofficial-downgrader-199-to-196-for-license-version-arma-cwa/
