The probe thermometer issue seems to be caused by the probe placement. When temping meat the probe bed to be placed in the center of the thickest part of the meat. If you push the probe too far into the meat you will get a false high reading because you have passed the middle and begun to read the temp from the opposite side. I find it best to insert the probe and slide it slowly in and out searching for the lowest temp from that spot. I hope this helps.
Thanks, yes it seems I clearly didn't place it well, but I sure thought I had. I went straight in the end at the center instead of top toward bottom where I might have overshot the center. Oh well. I sure appreciate your engagement. I hope you watch all my other vids and subscribe!
I got the same unit from QVC, i know you said you used the probe before but mine would say the same thing until i found out i wasnt pushing the probe hard enough into outlet on the side of the unit. Im surprised how hard i have to push the probe in but it! I make carrots with a balsamic honey glaze with chicken and the oven is really convenient.
Nice. I checked I had it in but maybe not. It certainly worked on the steak. But as my other thermometers freaked I am just flummoxed. ;). Your meal sounds great and I might try something like it. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
The eggs I don’t think you had to turn it over,Lens since the heat is all around! I would like to try it. I will for sure want I am decided which one to by. Have a good day.
I’m so glad you watched and commented. I suspect eggs is a typo. The roast did need to turn so that sides could brown on the sear plate. I’m thinking that might be what you meant.
Hi Lens, love your videos. Is the Ninjas Foody, the 2023 models is the same or better then the 2022 . I Would like your expertise on it. Thank you very much to take the time to answer me. ❤
I believe the latest model of flip oven is the 13 in 1 dual heat that I have. You can find links to it in my Amazon list found in the description and that will provide a commission to me at no cost to you.
Hey, it's me again. Pork can be pink in the middle and still be cooked well enough apparently. I too thought that pork should not be pink, but this is what I found when on the search engine: "That color doesn't indicate anything nefarious-at 145°F, your pork is at a “medium rare” temperature. You would expect to see some pink in a medium rare steak, so don't be surprised to find it in your pork chops! If the pink color freaks you out, you can continue cooking it until it reaches 155°F." Also, try to put the probe sideways into the thickest part....maybe? perhaps the hot swirling heat would be messing with the probe before it's put into the pork loin? My recipes tell me to put the sear plate on top of the unit and close the oven then check the temp. I thought that was to keep the unit preheated. they do suggest using your other probe if you feel it's not cooked. Or perhaps you just had gremlins?
thanks, that makes since, but it has happened a couple times where I don't feel the thermostat records accurately. I did insert sideways into the thickest part of the pork specifically and that was easy to figure out as it was an even cut. But if you watch the Spatchcock Chicken video you see that can be more difficult as the meat is inconsistent. But yes, a back up thermostat should be used. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!
The issue is its pork😂..I don't eat pork😁. I love your vids in fact I'm purchasing my very own unit due to your reviews. Cheering U on all the way from down under 😁
I like how realistic you are with these videos
thanks!!! As I am not paid by them, might as well not try to be super polished about it all.
I enjoy your videos and what you cook in the foodie oven. Guess I'm more of a visual person. Keep the videos coming please.
Thank you! Will do!
Love the original Ninja I bought last year! One sheet dinners are perfect for me!
Nice! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Len, thanks for being a leader, we continue following your steps, it is so much easier to do it after watching how you do it.
Very kind. I like video instructions too.
I’m learning how to cook with mine by watching everything you do with yours! Thank you so much ❤️
You are so welcome! I hope you enjoy it!
Can you use parchment paper on the sear plate?
Yes. As long it’s not touching the heat source it works.

What is inspiration book?
It is basically a cook book and instruction guide that came packaged with the oven. It can be downloaded in pdf form from the ninja site as well
Which model is this ninja air fryer
I don’t recall off the top of my head. Info is in the description.
SP351 is the model. SP301 is the same thing but without the thermometer setup
Try the pork at 160, that is what I use in my smoker
thanks

LOL, I'm not a pork fan in general - except bacon - that's not pork haha. Glad to have you here and thanks for the comment.
