I just got a Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven a few days ago. Your review helped a great deal make my decision. I have a Phillips XL Air Fryer 3 qt. but you can't do as much in it. I've not done a sheet pan meal yet but I'm excited to do it. Just 2 of us at home. Made toast & Bagels great. Very quiet machine which I like as well as not heating up the house. We both can see the potential in it. Thanks.
You can use parchment paper in the lower tray under the air fryer basket to help with clean up and also I have an AF which is the pull out basket drawer type and I put a slice of bread underneath the basket to help absorb the grease when cooking chicken with skin on.
I have this very product and it’s phenomenal and then you just fold it up and it’s out-of-the-way. Great space saving technologies with lots of options. Can’t say enough good about it.
Excellent demonstration and review. I'm quite happy with mine and find I use it more than expected. Favorite pizza may be the garlic chicken pizza on cauliflower crust from California Pizza Kitchen.
I did not get a cookbook with mine. I reheat pizza from Dominos - really crispy crust and it is great - not soggy like the micro. I keep hanging on to my toaster but try it now. I made some one time in the basket not on the rack - have to do that because it would not toast well that way. Great demo - helped me out a lot. I am a single senior and I still bought this one for all it does and saves room in a smaller apt. Oh and I got mine from Amazon for under 200.
I just got the Ninja Foodi digital air fryer for Christmas this year from my husband - what a great gift! Thank you for your video so I can get some direction of how it works. I am a very visual gal, so thank you so much! I have the Ninja pressure cooker as well, but since I had an old pressure cooker blow up in my Mother in Laws house years ago, I am so scared to even use it - I will check out your video though and see how you do it- thanks so much!!
You’re welcome! I hope you like it as much as I do. I still use it every day. I have only heard stories of pressure cookers blowing up and it made me nervous to use one. I can see why you would be scared. The new ones are a lot different, I’m pretty comfortable with it now.
I recently purchased the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven and could not figure out how to adjust the darkness setting for toast. I found your video and it most informative. Thank you for this presentation and finally I know how to adjust the toaster setting. No more dark toast for my family!
I currently have a 7 qt PowerXL that I use at least 2-3x every single day....I just bit the bullet and ordered the QVC special for ($169, it’s the 8-in-1 that also dehydrate and warm)....Thanks for the review, I can’t wait to get it!
I don't like the amount of smoke it releases when I open the door to shake or rotate the pan. But it does cook quickly. I let the basket sit in the pan with water and a sprinkle of baking soda. 30 mins. later, it all comes off.
Thanks for all the great ideas Cathy! I have a small condo with a small kitchen to match. I love this air fry oven! It replaced my small egg shape air fryer, my old toaster oven, and my NuWave, which cooked fine but was a pain to clean. I can’t wait for your next video!
I purchased one just over a week ago and love it. I'm a 64 year old widower and standing around in the kitchen waiting for dinner to cook isn't my idea of Heaven. I have cooked chips, sorry fries in it. I've had a go at toasted hot cross buns, chicken vegetables and so on. My only criticism of it is the preheat to cook part of its cycle. It would be a lot better if the designers had done the same as the ninja foodi, when you open the front the timer stops. You have to stand waiting for it to reach working temp then open the door put you food in and shut the door as quick as you can as the timer doesn't stop once it reaches working temp. Other than that, I can't find anything wrong, other than it doesn't bring your food to you. Ah well, version 2.0 will have that fixed.
Thank you for this comprehensive review! I bought this oven for a travel trailer this winter. I love, love, love it! Even tho' I don't generally care to cook, I used it a lot for the month we were in the trailer. Like yourself, part of what prompted me to try it was that it flips up for a smaller footprint when not in use. And it has so many cooking modes. I almost never comment on TH-cam videos but had to here 'cuz of your excellent method of review, including cleaning and demos, plus how much I recommend this product. I had to replace my range this month and got a Frigidaire induction stove top with an oven that includes air fry. Regarding cleaning, I imagine splattery chicken would make a mess in any oven. Otherwise, it's wonderfully easy to clean. The basket here has small mesh compared to my Frigidaire basket. With the latter, I put it on top of my Curtis Stone Roll Up 2-in-1 Drying Rack/Trivet over my sink for both loading, turning and unloading food. For cleaning, I place the basket on top of the rack over the sink, make an initial spray then use my sink brush with a dab of dish liquid to daub soapy liquid, let it sit a minute or two, repeat a couple of times while cleaning other items then rinse. The Compact rack/trivet I have will go into my trailer for use with the Ninja basket. (I purchased the rack/trivet in two sizes on HSN_dot_com, but Amazon has the same by other manufacturers. The larger rack I cut, putting 1/3 between the elements on my stove top and the 2/3 portion on top of the sink.)
Wish more reviews were as clear and informative. Great job! We just got one and I’ve just cooked bagels so far. Came out perfect. Looking foward to making dinner dishes. Thx
You also need to do a follow-up review on these when there are a year old how are they holding up are they still working are they still easy to clean? I mean they look nice but they look awful flimsy. And ask for my favorite pizza it depends if I make it myself I like to make hamburger and black olive. If I go with a pizza chain I used to like Pizza Inn but that's the one near me close down I like Pizza Patron and their meat lovers.
I just got this ninja air fryer as an early Christmas gift. I was apprehensive on how to use it and what to cook in it. Thank you for making this video! I have so many ideas now!
I am so glad I watched your video. It was so helpful. I learned a lot and your presentation was perfect. I am going to try it for only the 3rd time today with new ideas from you.
Forget the air fryer I would just subscribe to watch you! Your fast efficient knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. I haven't opened my air fryer yet but I will update when I try it out! Thank you so much for your review.
You just convinced me NOT to cook wings in my new Air Fryer oven. I'll keep using my pellet smoker and keep the mess outside. Very complete review... Thank you
I had this product in my small kitchen. The fold up sells you. It did an adequate job. However, and it is a big however,I found it difficult to clean when you are cooking anything with grease - e.g. chicken wings. Also,it’s overall awkward, (that could be me). Longstory short, I no longer have it, but I do have a Ninja No smoke griller LOVE THIS ONE!
If you use a non scratch pad that air fryer cleans very easy! I love it. You can put it in the dish washer and it comes out great, just like new. Or let it soak in hot soapy water works great
I just got this as a Christmas present and I have been wanting to try it. This review was awesome, thank you, especially about the air fry rack cleaning. I think I will try the dishwasher method just to see if it is more efficient. The cleaning part was very helpful. Thank you again.
I just received my ninja air fryer thank you for explaining and showing how you use your sir fryer I only made veggies snd bagels in it so far . Received it yesterday oct. 27 th. I didn’t get a cook book I will let the company know
Wish one of the people reviewing this Ninja Foodi would do Vegetables that were dipped and coated. I've seen reviews that have done them and it's good to know that Broccoli dipped in egg flour then Panko does come out great.
Our large, regular oven is gas - so it's far more economical to bake/roast. Someone else (on a different video) mentioned that his Black & Decker toaster oven has worked for 40 years!!! [So, if I thought our B&D (only a few years old) was gonna kick-the-bucket any time soon...] Though we love our Ninja blender, Ninja coffee machine, and especially our amazing Foodi non-stick pots, pans, I guess we should 'flee the temptation' to replace the toaster oven w/ this Ninja.
I wonder if you could just put one of the pans with water in it and use the toast setting and it would steam the insides? Kind of like how you put a mug of water in a microwave oven to steam clean that appliance??? Cause I’m asking for this as an anniversary gift and if it could be cleaned easier then I’m totally sold on it!! 🤣
Truly did not find this a big enough reason to buy it, even in my VERY compact kitchen. First,it stays open for SOME time after using it because it has to cool and secondly, no matter how you prespray, it’s a stinker to clean that wire basket. Would honestly not recommend it.
Okay, it's been over a year since you reviewed this Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven. I'm getting ready to remodel my house...and I'm leaning heavily toward this item for cooking when we are renovating, as well as something that isn't a counter hog for when we're finished. Can you give me a one year review? How much do you use it? Do you still believe in it? Thank you!
I just bought this today and your video is great. You make it seem easy to use. i was daunted after taking 20 minutes to get it out of the box along with the styrofoam. But, you changed my mind. Thanks.
I bought Ninja Foodi Air Fryer at Costco six weeks ago. I really like the air fryer, so far. The biggest complaint I have is you have to be very careful removing the food from the unit and it is difficult to clean because it is so narrow to clean the inside of the unit.
Cathy... pro tip for ya: we use something similar to that basket tray that came with your unit. If we have to quickly reuse those trays at the restaurant, a large long hair hardwire brush will usually do the trick in two or three passes 😃👍 or if there’s nothing crusty on it, blast it with the spray gun in the rinse sink will usually do the job 😃👍
I really enjoyed this video. It was very informative. I was on the fence about this one, but, now I have decided to buy one. Thank you for this review.
I love mine! Got it just before Thanksgiving from QVC! I use it everyday from breakfast to dinner! I am going to make a RibEye Steak on the Air Broil setting. Those wings look amazing!
@@Andy311Sutton I love it. No issues at all, well worth the money. Get it from QVC. They have the best price, choice of colors, and the easy pay always helps.
New subscriber here. Great demonstration. This looks amazing. In the past, I have used toaster oven and loved it. I have an 8-quart instapot and was very disappointed when I found out the instapot air fryer lid was just for 6-qt instapot.. 😢 I live in a 32' trailer, at the moment. Counter space is extremely limited. I don't use the propane oven; it is really small. I am working my way to being whole-food plant based. Getting tired of steamed and microwaved frozen veggies. Air fryer seemed like a logical addition to my kitchen. Will look at your other videos. Thanks
I love this Excellent product it brings professional results out of this little oven. 🥰 what a great job on my cauliflower crust vegan pizza 🍕 I had to add garlic salt and cayenne pepper and kick it up a notch but man the crust was perfect I don’t put the thing in a dish I just slide it in on the rack take the cardboard out from under it this one came from Costco it’s a great pizza but it Hass to be doctored up and then I baked it when it was done I pulled the pizza or I put the cardboard under the pizza and pulled it out and man was it good I put the oven up on for soup cans just to keep it off my plastic counter in my RV causes air base as it gets hot so it work beautiful. Even with 1800 watts
I had toaster oven some 30 years ago and I gave it to my dad because I didn't have the counter space, my dad was trying to give it back to me (yes the same toaster and it still works) I told him where am I suppose to keep it because I still don't have the counter space. I loved it for cooking up small meals and rewarming, I am not a big fan of rewarming things in the microwave. oh boy pizza, my favorite is homemade. one of my favorite is taco pizza but they are starting to get real pricy for whats on them, I also like a breakfast pizza, but I think my all time fav is a sausage and mushroom with sauerkraut with white garlic sauce. if made right it is to die for.
My favorite pizza came from a place, no longer in business. It had garlic butter on the crust, pepperoni, hamburger, onions and green peppers. No pizza sauce! :)
Santa dropped one off for us. I see 8 settings on the model we received. It includes all the settings you have plus a "Keep Warm" and "Dehydrate" setting. Model# SP101 LR9 Only used it once so far this morning for bagels.
The one I bought I got at Walmart. I also bought a Ninja Blender at Walmart. After a little research it looks like Ninja might make special models just for Walmart. The air fryer toaster oven and the blender both have one of two less features than the models sold and other stores. Maybe that keeps the price down a little. I could be wrong, that’s just the my theroy. 🤷♀️
I agree with your theory. Walmart vs other retailers. When Walmart says they want to hit a certain retail price point, vendors will do what it takes to get into their stores. You see it with consumer electronics. It eliminates price matching .
I loved your review and this by far the best one! You convinced me to purchase to oven! Your such a natural and an honest reviewer! Thanks for sharing 🙏
I just picked up one of these. I was skeptical at first. I thought the combo of toaster and air fryer would be a compromise of each. I was wrong. I’ve done wings (Buffalo, garlic Parmesan, teriyaki), chicken fried steak, toast, warming many frozen snack foods. It’s become our most used appliance.
I can’t get my favorite pizza anymore because the ownership changed and therefore the menu, plus I’ve moved, but my all-time favorite pizza was The Kitchen Sink from Stonewall Pizzeria in Llano, Texas. It was their version of a supreme on a hand-tossed crust. Delish!
Just got one for my birthday and loved your review of the product. Im going to buy those Cut Da Carbs, wish you could get credit for promoting it and surely convince many of your viewers to give their product a try. New sub here!
Thank you for subscribing, I really appreciate it! I should probably contact Cut Da Carbs to see if I could get a discount code to pass along to viewers. Thanks for the idea!
I have had the ninja for about 6 months I sent back the emeral lagasse took too much time. I have cooked lots of things some great some not so great. One problem is cleaning very difficult to clean bottom. My general rule is 400 for 4 minutes and repeat The directions for full meal is great the divided tray works nice quick easy meals. Tried loin of pork the best I’ve ever cooked. Fresh veggies are great. Where do I get the taller tray . Cooking frozen home made pizza great crispy and like fresh. Just keep playing with it it’s really great. Brenda
Definitely the most expensive toaster oven we’ve ever owned but also the best! It’s seen every day use for the past 6 months. Best pizza is the pizza I make with the fam! With 7 kids we make a lot of pizza.
Hi. Great video! I was wondering if the light flickers a little when it’s on while cooking? Just bought the sp300 and trying it out.. One thing I noticed is that the door slams shut… I originally purchased the new cuisinart, loved it but it would burn food on the baking setting, it was crazy…runs super hot.. Great review on the ninja! Tyfs
Did you mention that there is a different model that’s an Airfryer with a dehydrator? Do you know which model it is? I can’t seem to find it. Thank you!! Great demo!!
Thank you for showing more videos on how to use now I am trying to use my Ninja air fryer, and not scared. Love the videos. That’s how I learn to use my instant pots. Thank you so much. 👏👏👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Cathy's got a new toy, that she seems to be lovin'
It's new Ninja Foodi's, Digital Air Fryer Oven
(The name of this thing, although I've had worse
Was no easy job, to contain in a verse)
First and foremost, it takes less counter space
Which keeps it in Cathy's, kitchen's ever good grace
From cookies to wings, it cooked like a dream
And you know Cathy likes, that it's easy to clean
Except for the mesh, which took extra time
With toothbrush in hand, she got all that grime
She made a nice batch, of low carb type chips
Though one made a break, to escape from her lips
Broccoli and pizza, and spuds were a hit
And a Michael Scott moment, about the toast and the fit
When it comes down to pizza, I'm far from a snob
Papa John's is just fine, Domino's does the job
I really like b-b-b-both, please pardon my stutter
As long as the box, has that warm garlic butter
😂 Michael Scott came to mind when I said that. 😜

I just bought this today and your video is great. You make it seem easy to use. i was daunted after taking 20 minutes to get it out of the box along with the styrofoam. But, you changed my mind. Thanks.
You’re welcome! I’m so glad I was able to help.
Wonderful is it easy to clean
Thank you! I will try it.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Great review.
You’re welcome! 🙂 Hope it helped.
I really enjoyed this video. It was very informative. I was on the fence about this one, but, now I have decided to buy one. Thank you for this review.
So cool you use red potatoes. I think they are the best.
I love mine! Got it just before Thanksgiving from QVC! I use it everyday from breakfast to dinner! I am going to make a RibEye Steak on the Air Broil setting. Those wings look amazing!
I want one,, is it worth it? Have you had any issues yet ?
@@Andy311Sutton I love it. No issues at all, well worth the money. Get it from QVC. They have the best price, choice of colors, and the easy pay always helps.
Can I make my home made chocolate chip cookies just as successfully.
I love any of the ninja products ! They are of excellent quality
I got one for Mother’s Day, and I made jalapeños poppers and loved it. Also made chicken legs.
I’m glad you love it! I still use mine every day.
My Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven arrives today. Can't wait to give it a try. Thanks for great review!
You’re welcome! Hope you like it as much as I do.
I am , for sure, buying one of these!
Did you? If not it is so still worth it, DEHYDRATION PART IS SO AWESOME TO OMMMMMG!
It makes great toast and bagels!
Just purchased and we set it today, can't wait to use!
I have the older flip Recipe? Smaller scallops at aldis and shrimp onion rings butter Mrs dash pepper stir when butter melts and onion rings will coat
Great video , in my oven i use broil to finish things all the time
Thanks!!
As noted in the instructions, spraying the wire basket with Pam saves u from having to use a toothbrush. Great air fryer. Not hard to clean at all.
WOW! It still works, that’s awesome. The one I bought lasted 3 years.
@@2centchick now a days everything is made to be thrown away nothing is made to last.
I'd like to see the other air fryer video review
They should have replaced it for free
Great review. We were wondering how to use and I believe it helped us make a decision. Thanks for a great authentic review. Excellent presentation.
You’re welcome!
Watching this madkes me more excited to get mine! Thanks!
I spray or treat my wings with olive oil and they come out much more crispy!
I do the same thing with anything I air fry. I hate dry French fries! 😄
But the instructions say you can’t not use olive oil ! ( I gonna start using it) 😁
My favorite pizza came from a place, no longer in business. It had garlic butter on the crust, pepperoni, hamburger, onions and green peppers. No pizza sauce! :)
I've been trying decide between a couple, but watching your video, I've decided on the xl oven. Thanks for doing a video 🙂
Santa dropped one off for us. I see 8 settings on the model we received.
It includes all the settings you have plus a "Keep Warm" and "Dehydrate" setting.
Model# SP101 LR9
Only used it once so far this morning for bagels.
Ma'am, thank you for a real thorough review. You sold me, so I ordered one. 😁
You’re welcome! I hope you love it as much as I do.
I loved your review and this by far the best one! You convinced me to purchase to oven! Your such a natural and an honest reviewer! Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thank you, I really appreciate that! 🙂
I use it the most too!
How did you cook your wings and other meats? Please help. I just reviewed this thing. Thanks in advance.
So nice of you to tell us what you know thank
We just got one yesterday. Trying it out today
Delish!
It’s not only “toasts” but performs a variety of cooking & grilling function.
Do you have a time & temperature suggestion for a couple of pancakes? Thanks and sorry if I missed it here...
Great review! Thank you! One question, how long did it take to toast the bread on the level 2 setting?
Love this thing and I own TONS of ktichen gadgets. It's gotten me to eat vegetables.
Still own them?
Thank you for the video. I've been doing things wrong!! Thank you so much!!
You’re welcome! I’m glad I could help.
With 7 kids we make a lot of pizza.
wonderful review, please, I bought the air fryer but do not have the recipe and time sheet that you have. Where can I can get one? thank you
Hi. Great video!
I was wondering if the light flickers a little when it’s on while cooking? Just bought the sp300 and trying it out.. One thing I noticed is that the door slams shut…
I originally purchased the new cuisinart, loved it but it would burn food on the baking setting, it was crazy…runs super hot..
Great review on the ninja! Tyfs
Did you mention that there is a different model that’s an Airfryer with a dehydrator? Do you know which model it is? I can’t seem to find it. Thank you!!
Great demo!!
Yes, there is another model with a dehydrator in it.
mam, i love what you are cooking in that air fryer oven, it makes me want to get one for my mom because we need to replace our toaster oven.
My backyard pizza oven makes a dandy pie. Just got the air-fryer today. Can't wait to try it out.
You’re welcome! Glad I could help. 🙂
And also after it sets it’ll tell you when to flip it up it’ll say flip on there
Oster toaster oven has turbo and fan which is a convection oven, all convection ovens are air fryers
