No mention of the Grand Canyon of Pa which was formed during the ice age when ice pushed south blocking the flow of water North. As the water backed up and spilled over the next lowest point, it carved a path south.
As a kid, I got to ride the train across the bridge and walk back across the bridge to be picked up by the train after it turned around. The people kayaking the river below looked like ants.
Born and raised here and I am surprised by all the places I didn't know existed. The biggest surprise was in Bedford. The Rolling Stones? And bombed during WW2? Unbelievable. Thank you for these informative videos.
I'm basically between Kinzua and the Austin Dam, been to both amazing places :) Remember when the Tornado took out the Kinzua bridge? I'd walked across it many times before, such a shame it was too damaged to fix :(

Disgrace graffiti and the channel trys to condone it ,
I haven't been to the Austin dam ruins, for quite some time. It'd be a shame if some people "colorfully" vandalized the site.
The "No climbing on dam ruins" sign just make me think of a dad telling his kids. 😂
No colorful stuff as of 5 years ago.
How about the ice cave, where it freezes in the summer and thaws in winter.
Or the Ice Mine in Coudersport
In venango county we always pronounced it Ken-Zoo bridge.
You’re pronunciation is probably right though lol

I see a lot of crappy graffiti in nature, but the rest is awesome 😂
:p
Been to Kinzua bridge a few years ago and walked out to the landing beautiful views !
