They couldn't have added the 50 States in 1924. Alaska and Hawaii weren't States until the 1950s.
@@epolk1968 Alaska was admitted as the 49th State on January 3, 1959 and Hawaii was admitted as the 50th State on August 21, 1959.....🇺🇸
The video says the "feature" of placing the name of each state and when it joined the Union was added in 1924...meaning the stonework was added. The video (which, presumably was made after the advent of the internet in the 1990s) states that "featured stonework" list the 50 states. It isn't saying 50 states were originally featured in 1924!
I'm a Brit, but I know that the last two states joined the US in 1959 because that was the year I joined the human race.
There are 48 states on the Lincoln Memorial. The 48 states present at the time of the Memorial's dedication.
Does not matter! The capitols are built on ley lines. The domes are made of cast iron because they are electromagnetic energy towers for Satan. 100%>>>Has anyone placed the holy water of Jesus Christ on a government building? Are priests invited to government buildings? Whose home is homeland security protecting? Why are there no churches in national parks? Go back to sleep!
20:30 It is thought that the sphinx originally had the head of a lion which was in proportion to the body size. Kafre later having it chipped down to create his own appearance is the predominant explanation as to why the head is comically small in comparison.
Also, it has been generally accepted that the sphinx is far older than the mere 4,500 years given. The reason why the body of the lion has significant erosion on alternating layers is because it was subject to intermittent flooding and drying. Evidence has been found on its body that shows that the sphinx was buried up to its neck for a significant period of time. Thousands of years of the Nile's widely varying water height is another reason why the layering likely took place, because many recurrent periods of standing ground water caused the disintegration of alternating layers.
You are correct, it's a shame this video contains Egypt's continued denial mantra of being the one's who built it rather than the one's who found it. If it had been a symbol of Kafre, the pyramid behind (which I doubt he built either) would have been ALIGNED with the Sphynx. Erosion dating puts this structure quite a bit further back in time, perhaps even before the Younger Dryas.

Per the National Park Service website, Lincoln’s hands do not spell out “A" and “L" in ASL. It is a myth.
What do they spell?
@@S.Clause The left is an A, the right is nothing but an open palm... an L would be extended index and thumb only with the others curled.
Per the ASL alphabet, they don't spell A and L
Some beautiful creations. Thank you! 😃😃😃❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Click bait. No apartments under the Washington Monument. Shame that. I usually like this content.😢
Thanks for saving my time!
lol, looking at the “apartments” beneath the monument, you’d think giants live there!
Well if you would have looked closely that would have been a tiny tiny Washington monument😂
Big Ben. The MP imprisoned was not imprisoned for refusing to swear an oath to queen victoria, he was imprisoned because he refused to swear on a bible as he was an atheist and, therefore, led to a fundamental change in oath taking
Starting with click bait , filed with puff and stuff inaccuracies.
I got suckered! A bunker under the Washington Monument?
So no pooping in the garden?
Why does this sound like it was narrated by AI Charlie Sheen tho
This narrator has been with this channel since its inception, so, to quote just about every piece of fiction, 'any similarity to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.'
Haaa, he really does have a Charlie Sheen sound, just no slurred words 😅
@@koriw1701 I’m not complaining it’s a winning voice regardless
@@stevenkidd6761 hahahaha totally!
Hi there! I'm the narrator for this channel and I totally get that comparison to Charlie Sheen all the time. 😋 lol
Why wasn't the Eiffel Tower's Apartment on the Observation Deck mentioned?🗼
Dunno. Why did they call the video "15 secret facts" instead of "1,500 secret facts"? A line has to be drawn somewhere, you know. They can't include every possible fact about monuments.
The Eiffel tower is built on holy ground. Did you see the skeletons under it? Has anyone placed the holy water of Jesus Christ on a government building? Are priests invited to government buildings? Whose home is homeland security protecting? Why are there no churches in national parks? Go back to sleep!
The government buildings are being used as electromagnetic energy towers. The domes are cast iron. The flag of the UN is the same 8 pointed symbol on the bottom of the Eiffel tower. If we really want to know, they are summoning Satan to the surface. That's the crack in Africa and only a few people know this. That's why Daniel chapter 12:1 is about to happen. Michael is why we are still breathing right now
"this monumental structure was not constructed in a single effort"
That's the in depth knowledge and facts we all watch for. That's not something you get if you take a class or read an article, top notch stuff there
The Opera House construction was more of a fiasco than you make it out to be. It was big news back then
Thanks for all the insight, especially Easter Island
Alaska was admitted as the 49th State on January 3, 1959 and Hawaii was admitted as the 50th State on August 21, 1959. 🇺🇸
Only made it to 6:44 as I am wondering where are the secrets. Maybe they cover all of them at the end but I am not wasting any more of my time to find out. 👎🏼
Interesting 😀
List of 50 states added in 1920? There were only 48 states then.
The memorial didn’t even exist until 1922. What a foolish presentation this is. And, you’re correct, of course
That’s not what they said.
The reason that the Forbidden City architecture survived was because it was constructed to move when the Earth moved, as in an earthquake. Rather than being tightly connected the joints are actually loose and move with the Earth. There are also tunnels beneath the Sphinx and chambers as well as many structures outside of the Pyramids themselves.
There are restrooms somewhere at Versailles. My roommate complained that it was just a hole in the floor with foot placement images by the hole.
These are "secrets?" I promise to keep them a secret!
Another video filled with stolen content and a deceptive AI generated thumbnail. Don't waste your time.
The names of all 50 states were added to the top of the Lincoln Memorial in 1924? So they knew the future 35 years back then? Stopped watching at that point. Facts matter.
You're absolutely right, I had to go back and relisten to that part. There are only 36 states listed on the Lincoln Memorial, one above each column. Representing the 36 states, during Lincoln's presidency. Also, Lincoln's right hand does not form the letter "L" in sign language. It is an just open hand, said to represent Peace and forgiveness, while the fist of the left hand is said to represent the War and the struggle to preserve the union.
Stop, you’re both wrong. The FEATURE was added in 1924, NOT all of the future 50 states. The Feature allowed for the additions as time (and new states) went on.
@@stevethirdcitymo6527 Technically, I was not wrong. The frieze above the columns has the 36 states, The Attic frieze above that has the 48 states at the time of the dedication of the Monument. Alaska and Hawaii are acknowledged on a plaque in the Plaza. This is direct from the National Park Service website.
There were not 50 states in 1924.
One word..... Illuminati 👀
@8:21 “it’s amazing, I cannot get left”.
Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament! 😂
0:39 I have been to the Eiffel tower several times but st Window of the World in Shenzhen, China there is a 1/3 sized version that is also very impressive.
How large are those stairs? 😮😮
Statues on Easter island are markers for fresh water, even in the ocean where it runs out from the island.
24:46 I love the Ravens of the Tower of London. So long as there is a raven at the tower, the Kingdom shall never fall!
As long as their batteries are regularly charged, they'll be there for as long as humankind 😅
The secret fact about the palace of Versailles is that it has no bathroom. I'll bet that's a hard one to keep😂
🎶Three coins in a fountain ⛲🎶
I stopped the video after you stated that Lincoln's hands are shaped to look like the letters A and L in sign language. You can clearly see that's not the case at all. So probably the rest of the video is also BS. 😂
Just like the names of all 50 states added in 1924. Nope
Well, his left hand looks like he is forming (or attempting to form) the letter A, but his right hand does NOT look like the letter L. Also, who signs with their hands and forearms laying on an arm rest?!
Are you making this up as you go along?😂
@@eviehammond9509there definitely wasn't 50 states in 1924 tho
There is an Eiffel Tower replica at Kings Island amusement park.
I don’t know how they are now after the big renovation, but the acoustics of the Sydney opera house were actually known to be quite bad
This is just plain stupid, inaccurate, and wrong. EASY thumbs down and should be removed.
Why is Mao's picture on the forbidden city when he didn't even live there? Why not Pu Yi? Don't the Chinese even know their own history?
Lincolns hands do not form the letters A and L in ASL. There 33 states in 1865.
You probably meant 36. Thanks
Hi 👋
✌️
hallo
The sphinx is much older, this channel should be ashamed that they do not confront this truth.
Is that like aqua velva? Lol
Thumbnail clickbait.
Watched this to hear about the secret under the Washington monument depicted in the Thumbnail. But once I got to it in the video not a damn thing
Okay people. He meant they started the tradition of adding the states to the monument in 1924.
In the years to come as man's spirituality increases all those monuments will crumble to the ground and nobody will care in the least
Versailles was disgusting back when the court moved there, one would turn a corner only to find someone squatting under a staircase taking a dump and the fireplaces was the normal place men would empty their bladders and if I could use a word coined by Jan Brady,,, The place reeked in "stinkie-osity"
The things I've always wondered about the Sphinx is, if you look at it from the back, can you see its sphinxter?
No mention of Lincoln's sculptor, Daniel Chester French?
You missed one of the most famous building in the world. The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem Palestine.
Jerusalem is in Israel.
This was interesting and the best part was the lack of an AI narrator.
I agree 😉
That's funny, there weren't 50 states in 1924...
That’s not what they said. They said the feature was added.
And if you look at most common graphical (non-map) images of the United States, we still aren't.
Even a number of on-line retailers suffer from the misperception that Alaska isn't (a) one of the 50 States and (b) isn't located on the North American continent.
You can poke around a 1:1 replica of the Undercroft below the Lincoln Memorial in the game The Division 2. That game is basically a full digital recreation of central Washington DC. The area beneath the Washington Memorial is cool too.
I seem to remember the visitor center being under the Lincoln memorial. So no secret there.
In 1924, we did not have 50 states. Try again.
This thumbnail beneath the Washington obelisk is not accurate!
How can you mention the Lincoln Memorial without mentioning the museum underneath?
I know for sure the Sydney Opera House is NOT a monument and if they had let the architect do his job, it would have been completed properly the first time!
It is Australia's culture.
❤😂😂🎉🎉😢😢😮😅😅
As soon as I hear that voice it's over for me
It is a computer voice but ignorant individuals write the scripts and draw the images.
@@AgnesCongdon-xk8hr I assure you it's not a 'computer voice'. I'm the narrator for the channel. But I will try and get some more emotion in there! 😊
@ChrisKane-
Why the clickbate pic of a complex under the Washington Monument?
I didn't leave the ground I'm afraid of highest 😅 so I'll wait for you down here.
Fact check
The way it was stated they added new states and the dates that they were added they didn't have all 50 states in 1924 so you're misinterpretation is both Incorrect and impertinent
Huh? I suggest you learn to listen what is said, not what you thought he said.
hi guys
Numerous inaccuracies, such as the Great Wall as 13,000 miles long. You need to fact check. But an entertaining video.
Marble was from Colorado- didn’t go further
Just shows you there’s always the ruler’s and the ruled and we never really know what’s going on.
The Eifel Tower has a "secret" room on top, which is a well known fact nowadays. You not mentioning this is a sacrilege!
kids don't cite this video in any history reports. good grief.
Most things aren't taught in school.
Education is so in need of a mass overhaul.
Never stop learning.
they werent buried to their heads that years of sediment build up which is a clue that they are far older than we give them credit to be
SUPER IDEA . POZDRAWIAM WSZYSTKICH .
The Versailles gardens are bisex? And it's not the Elizabeth tower, it's the tower of St Stephen.
is Charlie Sheen the narrator?
Trevi Fountain is no longer fun it was, they just unveiled barriers and walkway across it. I guess it as all for the year of Jubilee.
Why weren't the Roman balistrades (think that's what they're called) on each side of Lincolns throne not mentioned?
i was expecting you to mention about Monument of Axum , Lalibela and many more ancient statues in Ethiopia?
You're wrong! Versailles has toilets, I was there January 2023, and used the facilities!
Not when it was built
Doric. Not door.
Oceanus was a Titan!
I love sticky rice
I like it too, but I can't eat it. Diabetes. It spikes my blood sugar
ASL wasn’t codified unto the 70’s. It would have had to be the signed alphabet.
Im not sure about the legitimacy of this fact but I heard that the flag of Alaska was designed by a kid
Yep not just the fifty states but as the mystery of Easter island is given inthecutting down of the trees on the island.
If it's not baroque art dont fix it.
Lincoln's hands do NOT form letters in sign language.
this is so full of incorrect information, this is what facebook fact checkers should be checking
Abe's hand does not make an L "The National Park Service lists the idea that "Lincoln's hands are making sign language symbols of his initials "A" and "L" as a myth along with other myths on its Lincoln Memorial Myths web page."
. . . Does not even mention the Eifel tower had a private apartment.
The Opera House was copied after the Adelaide Opera house
There wasn't 50 states in 1924
Cholula is the best hot sauce
At 12.02: Does the Great Wall of China extend for 13 thousand miles? Of course not. And if all the "secret facts about famous monuments" were true, how did the producers of this video come to know such secrets?
Lol I was waiting for you to mention the Eiffel replica in Vegas.
What about the one at King's Island in southern Ohio? It is 1/3 scale.
@@CopiousJohn Or the one at Kings Dominion in Virginia about 20 miles north of Richmond. You can actually see it from I-95, especially during the winter when the leaves are off the trees.
48 states on the Lincoln Memorial. Pyramid of Cholula was abandoned and overgrown when the Spanish arrived. They just thought they were building on hill. No serious notion that it was a pyramid until the 19th century. -Stopped watching after that.
15 famous monuments; 0 secret facts
Is the the simple history guy,?
Life long National Certified RID ASL interpreter here - while that lore about Lincoln's hands loom large in the Deaf community - it's totally false. That was never the intent of the artist.
Parthenon is not in Athens. It's in rome italy
Nope. It's in Athens.
Maybe you're thinking of the Pantheon.
Thumbnail is misleading. Don’t bother watching.
I wish countries would divulge the truth so at least these guys could get there facts straight... I don't know how anyone could come to the conclusion that the heads on easter island were carved and then buried in a couple hundred years time.. for no apparent reason lol. I wonder what there theories are on all the heads that are under the sea along the coast of the island 🤨
Well said very well said thanks for your knowledge on this matter.
I must say more, I never new that the statues were off the shore line thank you for this information.
3:19
Click bait
10:32 oversized hands??
What about the "secrets" we were promised, no sign of them 👎
no taj mahal
secrets? what secrets?
I love your videos, but you need to be careful of using the same word over and over ie "iconic" in this video. Some synonymous are quintessential, archetypal, archetypical, emblematic, representative, seminal, symbolic, classic, classical, historic, ideal, important, essential, model and traditional.
What secret facts? Not worth watching, unless you don't know history.
