Thank you! We are on our last weekend in Tokyo. We have managed to get around in the train system ok, but we were completely lost when it came to the bus. Now I understand one of the operators was trying to tell me how to use it, but I simply didn't understand. Thanks again.

This is a must for me. With knee surgery I had, it'll be harder to get into subways/train stations as it's hard to go downstairs. Climbing is ok but descending worries me, so I'm taking buses around Tokyo.
So your ticket has a number. If there are 20 people on the bus, will you all have a number from 1-20? When you look at the fare for your ticket, say #5. Will the fare change as you pass different bus stops? Seeing that the distance then gets further. Also, if you put say Y1000 in the machine, does it just randomly give you coins and from there you have to select the amount you need to pay? Thanks for your video. 🙂
How do I find information of the bus stop and bus lines that go through it? I mean when I searched for this bus stop on Google Maps (元町商店街（バス）), it only shows シティーループ - かもめりあ行, doesn't have any bus number...
Good question! When I was in Asahikawa I noticed the bus stops had english on the timetables for tourists! Buses also have numbers so I just took note of the number too if I were making a return journey. You can also simply use google maps to set your destination and then it'll tell you what number buses are going there and the next bus avaliable. I used this a few times both in big cities and in a rural area when I accidentally got off a train at the wrong stop. All in all just good planning and you'll be fine! Tourist attractions will have online blogs/instructions on the best way to get to a place.

Can't IC cards be used in terminal buses? IC cards seems to be the easiest one to use.
