I think what I really appreciate about these colorized versions of the classic monsters is that, for the most part, they only have as much color as they need to. They look exactly how you would imagine they would based on the black and white images from the film. Their skin is flesh colored, but appropriately pale and desaturated. The blood is red, but only as red as it has to be. Certain things that you know would be bolder in color are, like the colors on the Mummy's sarcophagus, or the scales on Gillman. They didn't take any liberties or make anything a brighter color that would be distracting. They are perfect.
Wise words, my friend. Couldn't've said it better myself!
My first movie was Dracula, but Bride is my favorite. That said, my most beloved silent movie is Phantom, and I saw it on TCM back when I was a kid.
I really dig the Totally Terrifying Phantom of the Opera Figure! If the Phantom was for real, he would most Definitely scare the Living Daylights out of Everyone. Man, Look at that Face. That's Horrible Face only a mother could love! 👹👺💀💀💀
My first Universal Monster movie was Frankenstein, and I still can’t choose a favorite because I love them all 😂
Wow!
What a head sculpt!
Lon Chaney never looked so good!
this is my favorite of the monsters. Lon Chaney was a lunatic. he's awesome and NECA kicked ass with this figure. i can't wait for the london figure too.
Neca is doing an amazing job with the Universal monsters. 💪🤓
The really are ❤

My first: Frankenstein (1931)
My fave: Frankenstein meets the Wolfman (1943)
Great video, just picked him and Creature up!
This is probably my favorite of the NECA Universal Monsters figures, amazing! Cannot wait to get him. Thanks for the review
Hey Spot, It's not a cane it's a breathing tube/Snorkel in the movie he uses it to sneak around the underground canals beneath the Opera House.
exactly
One of the best headsculpts neca has ever done in my opinion
15:02 good positioning!
I have this figure myself and I absolutely love it. Out of the three Lon Chaney Phantom figures I have (Sideshow Collectibles, Diamond Select, and NECA), the NECA figure is the best one. They hit a home run with this figure. A couple of weeks ago, I was very lucky to pre-order the New York Comic Con exclusive Glow in the Dark version which pays homage to the old Remco figure. I'm very excited to be getting that one too. Great video as always!
First one I remember is Frankenstein. My favorite is the Wolfman.
This is a nice looking figure on the part of NECA! Thanks, Spot! I appreciate the hard work! God bless and stay safe!
The invisible man:
"You can't see me!"👋👀
I tought my phantom model I built was cool, but this is friggin so close to original,Ill throw
the model out!lol
Well, maybe don't throw it out, I'm sure your model looks pretty cool too lol
l wonder if neca will do jekyll and hyde and hunchback of notre dame.
I got two of these figures to have one unmasked and masked with the Fedora.
Phantom the original is my favorite.
Great video.
Thanks for watching!
The invisible man actually standing there in the middle Lol
굉장히 정교하게 나온 네카 피규어 입니다.ㅎ 완전 마음에듭니다 ❤
Can't wait for this one!
GREAT NECA PHANTOM OF OPERA COLOR VERSION OF PHANTOM FIGURE REVIEW SPOT OF HORROR 🔥🔥🔥💪🔥💪
Great live stream and great videos the review spot 💯💯👍👍👏🤟🥇🏅🔴🎃👽👻🇨🇦
Looks awesome thinking about picking this up for my b day next month thinking about reading the book to great review
Frankenstein 🎉
Great review as always and a phenomenal figure from Neca. I have been trying to collect the entire line of these figures which I think are fantastic.
I have the wolf man and Frankenstein and the mummy!
Its a great line, shame they're not doing black & white versions of the Phantom and the Invisible Man, or Glow in the Dark versions of the Invisible Man and the Bride. I was hoping to have the 3 versions for the 8 main monsters.
We need the B&W version of him with the skull mask amd suit and the B&W version of the invisible man with the smoker's jacket
Hello from Vegas
Hello from Canada :)
They should make another movie of him. Was it only done in 1925?..
Finally, a decent Michael Jackson figure
Every reviewer gets it’s wrong. That’s not a cane. It’s a tube he uses in the film to breathe underwater to sneak up on unwelcome visitors in his underground lair.
exactly
@@TheReviewSpot love the content you put out! Quick question does your phantom’s cape have arm holes. Mine does and I just couldn’t see them in your video.
Is it just me or some of the hands look like the could be used on a potential piano accessory set???
If this version is the true horror one then why is the musical one the one included as part of the Universal Horror Monsters?
It's not a cane.! It's a mouth piece for air when he does underwater. If you watched the movie...he never uses a cane.
exactly
We Need the Red Death version
They will release that one in B&W 😅! Lol
Seen like five minutes of yhat silent movie
Not just a Cape
Right? Mine has sleeves
Almost every review of this figure calls his snorkel a cane!
exactly
That's what it is.
It’s a snorkel
@@RobertLeininger yeah it's the snorkel he uses in the movie
The mummy was b&w I didn't like the b&w!
Good video am looking at Collecting them myself I don't know what one to start with I see now they are making a hammer house collection
