    My dear friends i need your help. The question is "Can i use please in the phrase "here you are, please" when giving smth to smb? Thank you in advance

    • @caterinasiligardi1758
      @caterinasiligardi1758 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not necessary. "Here you are" can be a different way of saying "please" when you give something to someone who has asked for it. For example, A) Can you pass me that book? B) Here you are!

    Are prepositions fixed ?
    There are many(teachers in India as I'm one of Indian students of yours) who say prepositions are fixed but I think prepositions are contextual.
    What do you think??

    Hello my dear teacher please please please please check it .
    We don't use past perfect alone when there is no context and another past simple event .
    Context.
    I decided to go america with my friends we met lot of people there , my dad had told me that I would see different people there..
    As I used past perfect alone here cuz I had a context to show past perfect event happened before that context.
    And we know how to use with past simple .
    But we can't use past Perfect alone cuz in past perfect we have to show one event happened before another past event or context but in single event we can't say past perfect event happened before what .
    Like I had seen it .
    Here we can't say past perfect happened before what .
    Is this a valid reason we don't use past perfect alone .
