I have always like Japanese sport and Italian sport bikes, but I like the looks of the RE GT with the cafe style single seat. It seems pretty simple and easy to work on, and it's reasonably priced at 6 thousand dollars near me.
It's like a Japanese, Italian bike. The Japanese always seemed to avoid making bikes like this. They don't want you buying and keeping one bike. The RE is well made and designed. They ride excellently and outperform the W800. True
Was on the fence about buying one until I saw one in black and gold in the showroom. I was instantly smitten. To my eyes this is an aesthetically flawless motorcycle; RE absolutely nailed it. Astonishing that they could introduce an air-cooled engine that meets emission standards and is such an absolute stunner.

hey gang...talked to a dealer, it's possible to put the continental GT tank and one person seat onto the interceptor! If you prefer looks of Continental but riding position of Interceptor...
These are guys are great, always. Every review shows the sheer love of the riding. And talking about the love, you should also see the review of GT 650 by Jay Lenos review of these bikes.
Hey bro, m from india. Own a conti 650, loved the looks on first go. Your review does the justice but trust me, conti is so beautiful...interceptor just doesn't strike those chords for me. Cheers!

Aaron and Holly make a great team. I liked your video on RE Interceptor especially the landscapes, the scenery around through which you rode. I knew Aaron would like GT more than the interceptor cuz of the aggressive riding position. Ride safe and keep uploading... God goes with you!
I love the way the 500 looks, but being in "everything is a rush" America, I would probably get run down. Definitely got my sights on the GT, though. Beautiful bike.

I came across Interceptor 650 and start doing research. Since I ride Indian Chieftain 1800cc, was wondering if 650cc is powerful enough bike for easy cruising or highway speeds. Knox did so far best review for this bike!! Those mountain roads doesn't seems easy to ride, but on interceptor looks so easy. Plus you did ride it little bit hard with open throttle which conclude that this bike is really good made and runs great too. I looking forward taking Interceptor for test ride, will be my first time ride on Cafe racer. Good job Knox, greetings from Chicago, Illinois.
Seriously Holly, a BRICK would handle & stop better than a bloody Harley!!!🤣 Nice review guys & here in Oz I have a 2011 Triumph Thruxton/cafe racer & of all the toys in my shed, this gets the most attention when I "cafe hop"!!! I have been eyeing these RE's for a while now & I think they look fantastic & nail the brief. Yet to ride one but its on the radar.👍🏻😎
I just ordered an Interceptor, mostly based on the seating/ride position. They're both the same bike, just different foot peg position and bars. I've ordered the bar end mirrors for my interceptor and the fly screen. I preferred the more retro look of the interceptor, especially the Baker Express tank paint job. I already have a Triumph T595 which has a much more over the bars riding position so I didn't want another bike with a similar feel.
@@abhinashpattanaik5109 underpowered unfortunately, I think I'd recommend spending a little more on a Triumph Street Twin. It's a beautiful bike but I wish it have another 25HP. I've upgraded a few fits but very tempted by having it bored out to 800+ cc or maybe an aftermarket ECU.

My wife and I made a Cafe Racer out of a Kawasaki CSR 650. Still sorting out the electrics right now. This bike has a rear cafe racer cowl I made from expandable foam then sanded on the original seat pan. My wife covered it with marine grade black material, tough as nails, then she sewed the cover to fit the cowl. This bike also has a 4 into 1 Mac exhaust and Clubman bars. I also just purchased a 2022 Royal Enfield Continental 650 GT British Racing Green color, picking up in two days at my dealer in Concord NH. Nice review by the way. Been riding the Cafe Racer life for countless years, I am 66, started riding motorcycles when I was 13. CHEERS!!! 👌🏁
I really like the synergy between you two whilst reviewing the bike, it makes it interesting to have multiple opinions in the same video and two different ways of portraying those opinions. How was the bike performing for cornering? As in stability, countersteering required, grip, ETC. Also, will there be any hoodie options for the casual gear and then maybe a riding hoodie option at some point in the future?
I want to see a scrambler version, seen some of the interceptors customised that look epic, oh and Holly reminds me of a young Peg Bundy from Married with Children, nice on the eye!😉😁
I love the looks since it looks like the old models people in my country used to produce (the old Puch), sadly no more, and I really consider a Interceptor 650 after reading all sorts of tests. But what I DO miss are the separated seat like on the classic 500 and the tachometer are more subtle on the classics as well. + I would love if they offered battle green as colour for the 650s as well. Then I'd definitely bought one, they look awesome!
The thing with Royal enfields is this- The guy at one of the excellent Royal Enfield workshops in Bangalore nailed it when he said - Royal Enfields are the definitive "people's bike". At that cost and value and the everyman appeal, and the easy tinkerability, everybody realistically dreams about owing and riding one. This is never the same with the more expensive bikes where people don't really connect those with their personalities. And the other thing with these is they look uber cool irrespective of whose riding them. Tall skinny guys, to gym guys to short out of shape fat guys, fits almost everybody and nobody looks out of place riding these. In India, these are passed down generations even today. No other bike brand has endured in India like these. Its surreal.
Yasss been waiting for this! Thanks for coming through ya'll. Love the content and the gear! If I may make a recommendation - Can you release more brown gear that would mesh better with khakis and office wear? Also a classically styled line that can offset Merlin and Belstaff would be cool. Their gear tends to focus on less technical and more heavy materials.
That was an excellent review video. All the pertinent information without being boring, or even worse, dripping with ego!! I hate those American reviews where they're like, "wazzup dudes, I'm super excited....blah de blah...." And the whole time it looks like they're tying invisible balloon animals with their hands!! And by the way, I'm a fan of Knox products. They're well thought out and have a quality construction and feel about them. I originally had the Knox Urban, which was great, but I upgraded to the urban pro because of the added abrasion resistance. It's so versatile being able to wear anything you want over the top whatever the season or weather. It is honestly such a good fit that sometimes when I'm riding along I have to feel up my back to make sure I've remembered to put it on!!! And that's no joke. Keep up the good work👍
Knox, you folks have been doing a great job with these bike reviews. It’s great content, and much appreciated! The Royal Enfield twins haven’t made it to my part of the world (British Columbia) yet, but I’d love to see them in person. The only thing that I think RE got wrong with these bikes is their names! Why wouldn’t you call the cafe racer styled one the Interceptor and the more upright standard that would be comfortable for touring on (say, around the continent) the Continental GT?
It’s in fact the cheapest 650 twins in the world! In India 🇮🇳 it’s even cheaper as it is manufactured here and also that Royal Enfield has the biggest customer base in the world in this country. I have been riding the 350s, 500s, Standard, Thunderbird since 14 years and these twins are in a different league altogether! It doesn’t have the thump of the single cylinder overhead camshafts engine that the older ones have and millions of Indians are a fan of it, but still it has that bassy growl which was lovingly welcomed into the RE family by the rider brotherhood. I have been riding the Interceptor for quite sometime now and have taken it to the worst of the roads or even to no roads rocky trails, altitudes of above 17,000 feet (5,200 mts approx) without any issues and still maintaining the bike is as cheap as around ₹3,500 per service for the first 2 services (Roughly around £38) that too for 10,000 kms. Now, that’s something that’s unheard of in this day and age!
Being taller and older, I expected that the Interceptor would work better for me. But, I found it uninspiring - getting on the Continental GT; it just felt right and made me WANT to ride.
A good, basic, affordable British twin that doesn't leak oil, break down or need valve grinds every 5000 miles. The WORLD has been waiting 100 years for these!
Hopefully I'll be getting an Enfield gt continental soon, depending on covid restrictions. I've already got the urbane, which I now use under my winter gear. I was so impressed with it that both my wife and I now have urbane pro, and like you say, you really can wear anything on top. It's so comfortable that I genuinely do have to double check if I've got it on sometimes!

As soon as Corona allows me to do my license I will do it. Would love to get a gt but for the start I probably start with a 390 Duke. May be in a few years I can get a continental:)
new subscriber! I loved your content! on this video good quality video, fashion was on point and the scenery was awesone; im exited to see more in depth reviews on motorcycles, accessories and gear from your guys. Good job.
Love the look of this bike, I hope this type of style of cafe racer continues, great review 🤙 love Knox by the way 👊 how can I get one of those t-shirts ?
Nicely reviewed. I bought GT 650 -VENTURA BLUE, a month after this bike for launched in India. I like racing to some extent and wanted to have a cafe racer concept bike with an aggressive stance, with this bike I achieved it. However I won't recommended it over Interceptor 650 for long rides. You may experience stiffness in your back with yes numb-bum. But the ecstacy is in riding GT 650. At this price no other bike is replacing it.
Thanks for posting, this was a really enjoyable watch. I've recently added one of these Continental GT 650 bikes to my collection. It is as good as they say!
Very well done video guys. My only hesitation is the long term reliability, even though they offer the 3year warranty. Will most likely need to take the risk though. Knowing how smooth and good looking this bike is just makes it great. Cheers from the US
Not sure @RoyalEnfield designed the 650 twins with as much love 😍 as your reviews/ features of the 650 twins. The quality of the presentation including the backdrop, pure gold articulation and noninvasive background music, if not the bike per se, would make the viewer fall in love with the bike and certainly your channel. Greetings and love from India 🇮🇳. Take care and stay safe 🙏 🤩
I really want this over the Interceptor. I love the shape. I'll be buying either this spring. I'm 50 and have horrible arm and back pain on my CBR and just want a tidy, easy going rider to ride for hours on a weekend. This is the wrong bike, isn't it? Can this be modified for a more upright position?
Go for interceptor the riding position is very upright and the seats are more comfortable and lengthier. For touring it's better compared to the continental GT. The chassis and the suspension are the same for both bikes. The only difference is the clip ons and rear set foot pegs.
I have an R6 and the position is very uncomfortable. Now I have the continental gt and the position is much more comfortable to walk. Go for the gt without a doubt! the interceptor has an effect that retains more air.
Im a bit late but better late thant never. Just got a GT650 last month after 3 years of deciding which bike to buy, and man after a few kilometers of riding i said to myself "this is a keeper".
Great review..... I own one RE Continental GT from last 1 month 20 days. There are few drawbags of RE Continental GT like paint quality of frame, seat comfort, fuel gauze accuracy, rear break bite, its not comfortable on long rides (its cafe racer so need to consider the same)..... but apart from these few issues I like this bike very much..... even on stock exhaust sound is nice..... yes its heavy, but I am used to it..... 650CC motor is well refined and punches out sufficient amount of power output..... it does have good road presence and it holds road nicely..... dual exhaust also complements overall look of bike..... end of the day its value for money product..... above all these things, you will get satisfaction and smile on your face on riding this beauty..... 🙂 🙏
Speaking from experience...Why would anyone buy a 900 Triumph anything for double the money as an Interceptor? I've owned 2 900's. I now own 1 Interceptor and a Scram12XE. Perfect pair.
I’ll be back after I get my continental gt 650. Not only o like gt - it’s like a very masculine type cafe racer. Not only that. Ms. Holly too is so gorgeous.
I have Royal Enfield Thunderbird x ...its great bike...the sound of it when i throttle gives me adrenaline rush....its not powerful as continental but still it rocks...
That tiny bug-shield mini-windshield, aside from the appearance, from a styling point of view, helps cut-down on the buffeting, as wind would otherwise create as it wended its way through the double clocks. They'll sell MASSIVE number of these.
I test ride the interceptor today. Man it works but it's not for everyone. I tried a royal enfield and a triumph t100 one after another and hate them both. But very nimble machines. It's just no my cup of tea after riding them.
@ 1:27 ? : A range they were in YEARS ago ! I fell in love with the Royal Enfield 750 vertical twin I saw in a 'Mom & Pop' cycle shop in Carlsbad, California, 1969. I was a kid, and had no money, so could only look and dream . Okay ? ? ? RH
yeah yup yup yeah yeah you know yup yeah yup yup yeah totally yeah You really put some thought into your dialog, huh? Yeah, yup. Totally, yeah, absolutely.
I am a new rider i took a test drive of this bike it was fun but my palms were hurting a little . Is it good for touring and will that palm pain go away or is it something that will stay??
Another great video from Knox. Loving the detailed shots, this bike has a great finish to it.

new subscriber! I loved your content! on this video good quality video, fashion was on point and the scenery was awesone; im exited to see more in depth reviews on motorcycles, accessories and gear from your guys. Good job.
Great review and lovely to have Holly add to the style and appeal 10/10
Glad you liked it!
Ohh man this bike is really beautiful.
Love the look of this bike, I hope this type of style of cafe racer continues, great review 🤙 love Knox by the way 👊 how can I get one of those t-shirts ?
Hi Kev, thanks for the feedback!! Actually the link for the tshirt is in the description. All the best, Aaron Knox.
Damn. That's a nice sounding bike.
The Ventura Blue is absolutely gorgeous 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for posting, this was a really enjoyable watch. I've recently added one of these Continental GT 650 bikes to my collection. It is as good as they say!
A moment of silence for those insects 5:07 RIP
🤣🤣🤣!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Aaron: Nice bike..
Holly: yeah yeah yeah ...... ............Yeah .....😄😄
Great video🤘 by the way
😄😄 Thanks Aaron knox
Love the bike, if I ever get around to having a second one this'll be it.
Would love to get my hands on this beast continental GT Çafe ŔAcer
Royal Enfield is knocking it out of the park !!!!
Can’t decide what’s hotter the bike or Holly!!! Great video!!
Great shots, great bike.
Very well done video guys. My only hesitation is the long term reliability, even though they offer the 3year warranty. Will most likely need to take the risk though. Knowing how smooth and good looking this bike is just makes it great.
Cheers from the US
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it! Hope you enjoy the bike! Aaron Knox
Many thanks, so appreciate your kind words! Love from UK! Aaron KNOX
@@keloniomannamoinolk7153 I got the interceptor. Happy with it
I bought a Royal Enfield Continental GT650 in Rocker Red. I think it looks beautiful.
Detailed review , loved it !!
Thanks so much! Aaron Knox
Speaking from experience...Why would anyone buy a 900 Triumph anything for double the money as an Interceptor? I've owned 2 900's. I now own 1 Interceptor and a Scram12XE. Perfect pair.
Great bikes Mark, lucky man!! Aaron, Knox
I have the Urban Pro and it's brilliant! Worth every penny!
Thanks John, so glad you think so! Aaron KNOX
I have Continental GT 650 and I love my bike
Awesome glad you love it!! Aaron Knox 💪
The cafe style would be better with Ace bars and Dunstall Decibel silencers then it would be a real throw back to the days of the ton up boys
Holly's helmet looks so perfect , with the clear shield and the continental gt.
Can anyone tell me how comfortable the Conti is for riding for a long time continuously (~6hrs)?
Very good review and informative chat, I subscribed, good stuff👍
I’ll be back after I get my continental gt 650. Not only o like gt - it’s like a very masculine type cafe racer. Not only that. Ms. Holly too is so gorgeous.
Yes, it is a brilliant bike! Love it, Aaron KNOX
I love the look of these bikes but I really need a top box for my commute.
Lots of Love from India
I have Royal Enfield Thunderbird x ...its great bike...the sound of it when i throttle gives me adrenaline rush....its not powerful as continental but still it rocks...

That tiny bug-shield mini-windshield, aside from the appearance, from a styling point of view, helps cut-down on the buffeting, as wind would otherwise create as it wended its way through the double clocks. They'll sell MASSIVE number of these.
6300 out the door in Boston area.Killer deal! Will buy one in exactly white.
Can't decide if I love the woman or the bike
Or both

I test ride the interceptor today. Man it works but it's not for everyone. I tried a royal enfield and a triumph t100 one after another and hate them both. But very nimble machines. It's just no my cup of tea after riding them.
@ 1:27 ? : A range they were in YEARS ago ! I fell in love with the Royal Enfield 750 vertical twin I saw in a 'Mom & Pop' cycle shop in Carlsbad, California, 1969. I was a kid, and had no money, so could only look and dream .
Okay ? ? ? RH
