After 8 weeks, I can say it like this: (coming from the US) you have to give up a lot of the minor conveniences you're used to (nice sidewalks, clean bathrooms, always have napkin or T.P.). But in return, you get some bigger conveniences (laundry service, cheap tasty food, cheap living, massages, etc)

I think it will depend on each person priorities, if you like luxury, high end commodities, super large houses or apartments and to have things done your way all the time then Thailand is not for you, but if what you are looking for is peace of mind financially, good healthy food and produce, active life style at a affordable cost, great healthcare and super friendly people then it is amazing!

Hi Tony, those are little annoyances which we can make a list in any country. In return, there are so much more things to be offered in Thailand and I can definitely exchange those minor annoyances for the greater goods from Thailand. Our family can’t wait to get there. Thanks for making the videos.

For me it's 2 months + of sneezing wattery eyes congestion, hiding inside and breathing difficulties. That's with allergy meds..Where I'm at its not just burning fields but making charcoal. ( nasty) Wash your car and a day later covered in soot.. To me if your elderly this can present a challenge when staying long term.

@kevo8498 That does sound nasty, nothing like that in Ratchaburi. Maybe have to go to a different town that doesn't make charcoal. Do a lot of thai towns do that?

5 months it will be my home finally. Love your channel bro, but the #1 thing that angers me about all expats and citizens of Thailand is that you people don't vote to turn the sun down. I blame you also. Keep succeeding King.

There is nothing that pleases us If you don't set a state of mind as balance You can't find a place is satisfied with life Sometimes lifestyle seems roaming rafting in endless in order to seek for work-life balance Every country has pros and cons Some people might be dreamed of utopia world Nothing is permanent Everything got change Even human mind has often changed (happy suffering good bad etc) There is no place as happy as our home.

Not a place for those that love high heel shoes. Or require toilet paper. Or those that need level unbroken sidewalks. Or, have poor habits of watching both ways before crossing the street (even when signaled)

Lining in the present US is like living in the city of 'Seaheaven' in The Trueman Show (1998). Living outside the US is dangerous and highly discouraged. See the movie to reflect. Thailand is the unknown for those who are tired of 'Seaheaven' and want to get out and embrace life more.

I’m not sure if I see it that way, I’m always scare to get pull over by police, can end up dead in a heart beat if you don’t keep your hands on the steering wheel. Road rages, toxic news media, consumerism, etc. where everything have to be extreme can dilute the family values in the schools and in the homes. I do like that move the Trueman Show, looking at myself and wonder if someone is watching me Lol 😂
