    Hey guys! My DIGITIZED UCAT NOTES are now for sale! 🥳You can get a copy over on my Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KharmaMedic !
    They’re a drastic improvement of my handwritten notes - I’ve added multiple NEW sections including DM notes, time saving tips & tricks, guides on how to prepare for the UCAT test, and how to know if your score is competitive and more! 😀
    Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel ❤ Happy studying!

    Bro I just went through this video and your other SJT one and I did a 40 question timed session on Medify. Subhanallah, I got 34 correct, 5 partially correct and 1 incorrect. The instantaneous effect of your videos is simply incredible. Cheers for all your help

    My test is tomorrow and this is helping to calm my nerves about SJT because I can see the thinking behind each answer - thank you so much.

    RE: accepting the gift and say thank you to the pt, I picked B over A because a better response that can address the problem is to attend to the pt's negative emotions. Thanking the pt suddenly and taking the gift is not ideal but at the same time, this action is fundamentally correct.

    • @wisp8957
      @wisp8957 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you can't think about what a better response would be as it doesn't say that specific response in any particular order you have to judge only from the statements

    Thank you for uploading these! They’re super helpful!
    I was just wondering, it’s interesting to see you thought processes for each of these sections. Did you have these same thought processes when you were doing the UKCAT? Or did you just go off gut instinct from previous practice?
    I only ask because with the time constraints I would find it impossible to analyse every section of the paragraph like you do

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem :) and yes of course for the actual test you can't spend this much time breaking things down. A lot of it follows gut instinct but you still need to use all the fundamentals you learned during your slower practice 🙂

    Thank you for the video. When dealing with an intoxicated patient, how reliable is patient consent if obtained under the influence of alcohol or drugs?

    • @harshsongra1535
      @harshsongra1535 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In one of his sj videos, kharma mentioned that autonmy of a patient is super important. i.e. they are in their full right to decide what they want for themselves (for their body, their course of treatement etc). But they can only make this decisions IF they are *COMPETENT* , an intoxicated patient wouldn't be competent to make their decisions in my opinion. So a consent under intoxication isn't very reliable. I suck at sj so i might be completely wrong.

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you wish to study medicine then you need to take this test at some point over the summer. You should start studying around 4-6w before the test but some people like to start earlier 🙂
