coz of your reviews which has others opinion counted in other video.. it really help me decided to book v storm .. if i wouldn't come across this review i would have gone too transalp. Thanks a lot for wide variety views. Booking tomorrow.. Between whats the waiting period for this. :P
@@reddy2go My riding would be more like 80% road and 20% off-road( ladhak/spiti road) 1. 220mm of suspension travel is my first key point. For me plush/comfortable ride is very important. 2. Thought it’s heavy on paper but during test ride it was as good as riding splender ( in terms of weight) 3. Engine is butter smooth. 4. Pure value for money. 5. Reliability of Suzuki (Japanese technology)
@@OpenAdventures No problem, the question was put to you, in case you might be aware of other friends or followers buying this bike like the gentlemen in the video.
There is some chatter on the Suzuki Vstrom Bangalore whatsapp group about whether the rear tyre will be changed for bikes sold in India. But nothing conclusive as of now
Firstly it's a privilege to see you and I hav been watching all your videos I need your help over choosing the between triumph tiger 850 and v-strom 800 de Since this both motorcycles appear to have similar spec on papers I need your help in deciding with respect to reliability , maintenance and resale value in the Indian market
Who do you want to answer this question? Supreeth, Reddy or Vivek? Please DM anyone of them (insta handles in description) and let them know what kind of riding you do primarily. They will get back. Both the Vstrom and 850 sport are great machines. But they differ in small ways given the purpose you want them for.
The tiger is more road oriented, in fact it is meant to be ridden on the road. The geometry will be sharper and everything on it will be designed for road use. The DE is meant to be used off road. Imho, they are very different bikes each built to suit a defined objective. If you are going to ride your bike on the road, take the triumph. If you are going to do some serious off roading, the DE will suit you.
I think the 800 RE will appeal to 90% of the India riders/bikers. I know of very few people who take their bike off road. A majority of us will ride only on road/tarmac. All the reviews say the RE is such a good all round machine with much better handling than the DE. I also can't imagine what a nightmare it will be getting a puncture on the DE on the highway under the scorching sun. You need tools, the skill and a spare tube and lots of time to fix a puncture as against a 10 minute patch job on the RE with a patch kit and inflator. I think suzuki dropped the ball by not getting the RE to India. It appeals to a much wider audience than the DE
@@OpenAdventures I really hope so! Fingers crossed. Like i said, it caters to a much wider audience and needs. And yes, every single review i have seen of the RE says that it handles much better than the DE!

@@OpenAdventures Yup! I figured you would have some lead :) I really would like to speak to someone in charge of new product launch at suzuki motorcycles india! The 800 RE would absolutely smash the market! I will keep looking but if you guys come across anyone, pls do share the contact :)
This is my new favourite channel… subscribed and all the very best

How does the V-Strom’s suspension compare to the Transalp’s suspension?
If the VStrom's suspension is soft, then the Transalp's is a rubber band
they're rather similar tho the vstrom has a clear edge thanks to the adjustable compression and rebound up front
Lovely review guys..
Thanks a ton

When is this bike coming back into sales? I've heard that this is out due to the rear tyre issues
We have no idea since we do not represent Suzuki or any other brand of motorcycle

Pegs overs bars😂
cheers 🍻😂
Are we still talking about bikes?
What colour is Vivek buying? Yellow?
he's actually buying mellow yellow. 😄
That’s my choice too
can't go wrong with that nardo gray and mellow yellow, best of both worlds
The grey and yellow!!! Unfortunately it's the only colour that comes with black rims 😒
Please consider tiger 850 sport
Yes. The Tiger 850 Sport is a great contender
