As someone who has become mainly dubbed for a number of years now; you roll a chance on whether a VA who does dub work will continue to perform a role they were cast in. So for a series like Fate where cuz of a change in recording studios (a couple of reasons as for why that happened), it makes me glad to know that Mela Lee has been most of Rin/Rin-faces appearances since Fate '06. Just makes the character feel more "whole" like that

Kate Higgins will always be the original Saber for me because Michelle Ruff is Arcueid and Kari is always Fuu from Samurai Champaloo! (If they do a Carnival Phantasm dub in an Arcueid and Saber scene, if they hire Michelle and Kari, I hope they slip a joke that Saber wonders why Arcueid sometimes sounds like her or Arcueid can actually copy Saber's voice).

Usually I'm cool with dubs but for some reason I happened to watch most of Fate subbed and it's so weird hearing Ishtar in english. Tho I gotta say Gil throws me off even more. His japanese VA has something extremely commanding in his voice that the english VA is just lacking 😅

Can somebody explain to me why so many Fate characters look alike? I get reusing assets saves money, and you can only draw a face with so many features in animation. But, it just seems like almost all the characters are just reused. And ill be honest its a big reason why i cant get into the Fate series despite trying to. Also, if someone could tell me in what order to watch this one id appreciate it. There are like 5 or 7 series that say Carnival or something else and i just dont know where to start.
