Gil dislikes those who use imitations or "fakes", hence his initial disdain for Shirou & Archer, but after his defeat at they hands, he would have had no choice but to give them the proper respect, as even though he underestimated Shirou due to his own arrogance, it doesn't change the fact that Shirou legitimately defeated him in a duel. Gil would have had more initial respect for Archer simply by dint of Archer being a Servant in his own right, and Gil _usually_ knows better than to underestimate a Servant.
Strange Fake Gil is definitely my favorite version of the King of Heroes. He's got all the arrogance and dickery of his Archer self while still being intelligent and wise like Caster Gil. Also his relationship with his Master is actually kinda cute since he basically told her "Kids should be kids so sit back and enjoy watching me kick some Mongrel ass."
