In the UK there is the trend towards to big cars as well now, the whole car market has been trending towards them for a long time. I think about 40% of the cars on the road are Range Rover sized. We’re luckily still behind the US.

Hometown to capital city is 24hrs, no breaks.
Current city to state line is 2hrs.
I don't understand how you could have culture shocks. listening to your voice you're clearly 100% American.
She literally said she’s American. She is showing things she always saw as normal until she returned from Tunisia
Fr she prob doesn’t even speak the native language over there she prob just pulls out her phone and uses translate
you can't have a 'culture shock!' unless you've been away for a long time. going away for a month or so is not going to deliver a culture shock. you need to live away from home abroad for a few years and then return to experience this,@@NothingAtAll.
Who the hell goes to Tunisia?
I'm fluent in Arabic and French! I lived in Tunisia for 18 years (my whole childhood) and I’ve never lived in America growing up but I went to other places in between so I said 1 year in Tunisia because that’s what was most accurate and true right then and I knew my followers would understand. I just didn’t explain my whole life story on this video cause I had only 1 minute and didn’t think this would go viral@@MayorMcheese12
That’s so cool! However in Canada in some stores you can get free refills!
This is exactly how I felt going on holiday in america again after 9 years
You spent a year in Tunisia after living in America your whole life and suddenly forgot about trucks, big gulps, bulk options for families, and the size of the United States? Did you hit your head?
Got kicked in the head by a camel.😂
Same thoughts
Really. Dont care where i go, living somewhere else for a year might let me forget where i came for about 3.5 seconds. Maybe that long. As soon as i think about it, ill remember hiw much different everything i am around is from where i grew up. Clickbait.
No, she just took a break from them and was thus reminded of them
Right lmao.
Me immediately… brooooo I should throw a cereal party
I was in linz a few weeks ago, and they had a refill in Burger King. That free refill stuff has been generally taken off the "menu." years ago
As someone with 3 siblings, my parents usually got those big bags of cereal because they were a lot cheaper than the boxes. In a 6 person household, you’ve gotta save money wherever you can
My dads side of the family lives 6 hours away and it’s still in Florida it took us less time to go to Georgia than to my grandparents house
That’s crazy!!
As someone who lives in Jax it takes me less time to go to GA than it does to go to some parts of Jax.
I live when Americans act like their country is the biggest in the world lmao
It's WAY bigger than where I grew up! Country I grew up in is as big as the state of Florida! USA is the 3rd biggest country by land mass, so I do think Americans have a point here@@L.a.77
@@thechrissyhazel maybe it's beavuse I'm from Australia and was just annoyed that they think we are tiny lmao
Dinobites! Love that cereal never seen the green bag though only red 🧐
In Japan, certain restaurants catering to tourists literally have big English labels on their soda machines that say "NO FREE REFILLS" lol
😅 me sitting here eating my 2nd bowl of cereal from a party sized bag
GET IT
I live exactly 58 minutes from the US border (I'm Canadian) and oh my goodness. I went to a Walmart there and I was overwhelmed by the amount of cereal. so... many... FLAVORS!
That’s crazy!!
There is free refill in most fast food restaurants here in Finland
the massive cups sizes that we have in our gas stations are for truckers who have to drive really long so they get the big sizes so that it lasts a long time
USA : “Free refills!”
Britain : “free healthcare.”
It’s not free
@@tenebrousjones4897 free at point of use, and costs far less per person and is ranked globally higher than the US in terms of quality.
@@christinagrimwade8702you still have to pay hefty taxes for it. So stop referring to it as, “free” when by definition it’s not. You also have to wait months to even be seen or get proper care. I’m covered here in the US and get the best of the best care. I need surgery? I can be there tomorrow morning. You can’t say the same. 5 out of 10 of the best hospitals in the world exist in the US, the top 4 are all from the US. There’s a reason you guys fly over here for life saving operations.
@@shane6450if you „need“ a surgery anywhere you will get it as soon as it’s really needed. Also we have the freedom to go to any doctor about anything at anytime or to go stationary anywhere at anytime if we don’t feel well without leaving debt for generations. Stop defending your underdeveloped corporate Country it’s ridiculous
Paid half as much and taxed more, "free" lol
Those party sized bags are always WAY cheaper and resealable! I practically grew up on it for breakfast in a middle class house with 4siblings
Free refills in Poland are everywhere 😅
I've been driving 8 hours and I'm still on this same damn roundabout
As a Canadian, you can drive for DAYS and still be in one province so this is still a win win
Wow!!
yeah, it takes so long to get to Ottawa from Toronto, which doesn't even look that far away on the map but is. (and it's still only in Ontario...)
In Québec, Rouyn-Noranda - Gaspé is a 17h ride. And that just West to East.
The party size bags are for big families or people who eat a lot of cereal.
It’s free refills at five guys in America too. Any place that has the fountain machine on the outside of the cooking station it’s implied they’re free.
We still have some places that don't offer free refills. Usually independantly owned restaurants will limit you and charge you for refills.
yes i can confirm almost all of us own pickup trucks
as someone living in Texas, we can drive 8 hours and not even be close to an edge of this state
the bags of cereal are usually the off brand cheaper one and lemme say, 10/10 scrumptious, i’ll gobble up some off brand lucky charms any day
I'm Indonesian living in Japan for 4 years, and the only reverse-culture-shock I had was "omg, I love how everything is so much cheaper here". The traffic, humidity, etc, were things I have already make peace with since I was a kid, so reverse-culture-shock will only happen if they were gone
I like the big bags of cereal, saves me money 😄 theyre usually off brand too but taste just like the original
If you've never heard of cereal parties, girl, you just haven't lived life yet.
Hahahaha
I'm so ready to drop my public health insurance for free sugar water!
I remember when kfc opened here in Rome. The free refill almost caused a revolution lol
Reverse culture shock? You were born and raised in America.......
Which country in America?
Nope! I lived in Tunisia for 18 years (my whole childhood) and I’ve never lived in America growing up but I went to other places in between so I said 1 year in Tunisia because that’s what was most accurate and true right then and I knew my followers would understand. I just didn’t explain my whole life story on this video cause I had only 1 minute and didn’t think this would go viral
Of course you know about her life better than she does herself!
We have free refills in Canada but its unlimited 😊
We also have party size cereal
The vehicles and distance things are also shared by South Africa. You can drive for 20 hours and still be in South Africa, and there are a lot of 4x4 vehicles on the road.
Also sizes of fries. Medium is like 1.5 large in Europe. Resturant portions are almost double.
Haha 😂 I had the same reaction when I first visited my aunt at Kalimantan/Borneo. 4 hours drive and we're not even at Aunty's house yet? How far is it from the airport? 10 hours drive from south Kalimantan to central Kalimantan. My already flat butt felt flatter than a piece of paper after a literal half-day drive.
The 8 hours and only 2 states gets me 😂 you drive 8 hours anywhere in Canada and you’ve barely made it out of your neighborhood or valley 😂
No
You can drive 11 hours in china and only make it to the end of the traffic 😂
walter jr. throws parties about cereal
The cereal bags are the best bang for your buck!
We call the bags of cereal ghetto bags😂 My favorite! getting your money's worth!
We have free refills here in Oklahoma almost everywhere and the large cereal is probably for families. Also, if I want a large and they pull up with that first cup, I’d be disappointed.
My husband and I get a large drink and just share it if we go for fast food because there’s no point in paying for two drinks and having 2 cups.
😂
There are free refills here in Maryland.
In other countries even sauce packets cost money 😂
I'm from tunisia and I don't know how we haven't thought of cereal parties yet
Tunesia is quite different from many countries, not only the US…
As a British person who moved to America a few years ago these are all such big culture shocks for me too!
Canada as free refills too😍
Not in NS I wish though
Adding Canada to the travel list ✍️
Not ALL of canada
@@catdoglover7648 WAIT RL?
for a second I thought you were saying you were Tunisian.. then realized you're an American that was abroad for a year. It would've been cooler if a Tunisian did this.
The cup size was the first shock I had as well when I was stationed in the US, I couldn't believe the largest cup in Indonesia was the smallest cup there; and the largest cup was literally a small bucket 😅😅😅 My Indo colleagues and I ordered the bucket just for shits and giggles 😂😂😂
i drive 8 hours and i’m still in the same province
That’s insane!! Tunisia could never
@@thechrissyhazel yeah from the south to the north probably less than 12hours
As an American, I can confirm that there are huge pickups EVERYWHERE. I only ever see the regular sized ones with only 2 seats once in a blue moon. Also, the drivers of those huge trucks do not give a damn about pedestrians or cyclists, so be careful.
Facts plus they always take up more than one parking space 😂
In the UK there is the trend towards to big cars as well now, the whole car market has been trending towards them for a long time. I think about 40% of the cars on the road are Range Rover sized. We’re luckily still behind the US.
I swear the smaller European cars can't even be bought in America, like I have never seen a volkswagon polo in anything to do with america
That's a small? Nah, that's an extra large 😂
Fellow TCK. Love this.
44oz is a medium in the south... 60 plus oz is a large
In Australia you can drive 38 hours or more without changing states 😳
She's gone for a.year and she's acting like she's been gone for 15
Actually it was 18 years.
as an American who had amnesia and woke up out of a 10 year coma, here are 4 culture shocks!
I spent longer on deployments and never had that type of reverse culture shocks… you know… since I spent 99.99% of my life in this country…
"Drive 8 hours and only have gone through 2 different states" laughs in Australian.
Drive 14 hours and I'm still in WA
Don't burst the American's bubble... ;)
Australia still ain't bigger than the US
@@Valentine-kx7fk It's the same size, if you exclude alaska
@@Temperius I'm including Alaska you absolute fool
Living abroad has made me more patriotic and proud to be an American.
I’ve driven 13 hours before, starting point being hours away from the bottom border and still being hours away from the top border by the end 😂 gonna be driving that trip again in about 6 months not looking forward to it 😅
You were gone for a year. None of these culture shocks happened overnight.
No.
