I’m so glad you made this video, thank you! Since finding your channel recently this has been something I wrestle with almost daily, I literally just finished journaling about it 😅
Great Info. I've always loved both bodybuilding and martial arts since I was very young. I've been off and on with both throughout the years, however since the pandemic i rediscovered qigong and have been doing it consistently since then and have been consistently lifting again for the past 3 years. Since my lifting is pretty intense I have started my morning with more silk reeling, pai dai 5:18 just to get the qi flowing. Then in the afternoon I'll do a little more silk reeling as my lifting warm up. In the evening I generally do evening/sleep flow to wind down. Thanks for all the great info. Hope to one day do certification for Qigong.
Hello. Great information. I do exercise, qigong and then meditation. I have really enjoyed watching your videos and your family over the past four years. 💗🤗✨
Good advice . Thanks , I was so disciplined for a few years , then got off schedule and now dragging about practising . I no longer want to practise that way anymore , so writing this I realize it’s ok maybe I have matured and just need to flow how I feel about it now and that’s ok . Dorie ☮️ Gore I no longer want to do that ?
At home Pilates recommendation for anyone curious, Dansique here on TH-cam has a delicious blend of strength and stretching in her classes. ✨ if I don’t have time for two Yin Yang sessions I will turn to her. I end class feeling strong, flexible, connected and open. The piano playing in the background keeps class calm and invigorating
Can you build muscle JUST with QiGong? That's what I'd like to know how to do, especially if you're older and can't do traditional weight lifting anymore.
Some! Mostly functional strength in your legs, and to some extent your core. But it is not very effective for upper body strength. I’d advise throwing in some pushups, and maybe some band assisted pull-ups or Ring Rows once or twice a week if you want to build or maintain upper body strength alongside Qigong.
😊 thank you I'd like to do my Qi gong in the morning sometimes I do it at night am I strength training in cardio mid-morning what you mentioned digestible foods can you give me some examples I guess that would be fruits and vegetables and smoothies maybe some oatmeal
What one easily digests is unique to each individual. But, as Nick and others here suggest, fruit, vegetables are what most people are able to digest easily. Cooked vegetables are more easily digestible than raw. For proteins, Fish is generally easier to digest for most people compared to other animal proteins. Long, slow cooked meats are easier to digest than grilled or fried. Lamb is usually digested easier than beef or pork. Listen to your body when eating these and other foods.
Your method makes sense to me. Great data! Fun fact: meat builds muscle mass. I follow many carnivores with before/after photos. One says, the way to build a 6-pack is in the kitchen. Eat meat. 🥩 I’ve also heard many carnivores workout before eating. When on carnivore, you poop less frequently b/c you use more of the food. Bone broth could be good after a workout.😋 Thanks Nick! (Another beautiful background. 😊)
Thank you, Nick!
Welcome!

I've been trying to mix calisthenics, Qi Gong, Tai Chi and meditation, but had those doubts. Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks, Nick! I've been trying to figure this out for a long time, I so appreciate your insights & suggestions ❤
Me too!
Very practical and well presented. Thank you!
I do a warm-up, VERY gentle weight resistance, Qigong, about 10 mins of stretches, meditate. Might not work for everyone, but it works for me 😊😊

6:12 he mentioned cooked foods are easily digestible and proceeds to give further information. Also, cold and/or raw foods are not easily digestible.
MEAT
@@mslaurateaguethank you
Stay away from oats! They shred the intestines.

One meal a day for me, after my workout. I am 99% carnivore. Totally do-able.
