Always nice to see how people come up with different ways to kill these assholes... I built a grid of 256 turrets, with 3 spaces between each and filled them with armor piercing ammo. The medium destroyer takes out about 15-20 of the turrets before dying, all in all not bad and pretty easy to setup. I'd have to crunch some numbers but turrets and red ammo seems cheaper than hundreds of land mines, could be wrong though
You can even do regular armor. With the free iron and copper on Vulcanus, making turrets and ammo is easy. The first time I took out a demolisher, I built a giant turret block just outside the demolisher territory so it won't attack. Then bait him with a few turrets into attacking the block of turrets, and he will melt pretty quickly. You will lose turrets, though.
@@IceTank I thought about it too that could work, however, the issue is the big one it won't work on it I guess, while mines you can do as much as you want
@@24Gaming4Fun Why not both? My initial plan was to fill an area with turrets and place mines between them, but I gave up on the idea because of the explosion resistance of the worm. Also, did anyone check if the collision of the mines is a circle or a square? It might be more space efficient to stack them with an offset every other row if the collision is a circle
just do it with the tesla turrets (Fulgora first is key guys!) them tesla turrets smoke these worms in no time,i didn´t even lose a single turret yet. guess that´ll change when i met the big worms
Thank you for the comment, Yeah maybe, but it's risky coz you will be targetted and could be from a closer distance also you need to upgrade them a lot to make that happen, don't you think?

Well you are not wrong, but If you get to Fulgora 1st yea sure but I went to Vulcanus 1st, and needed to kill it and didnt know what to do haha
I just use destroyer capsules , way easier
