would you say their george split toe derbies that they offer are as casual as these boots? because i love the look of their utah calf, but im afraid itd be too formal to be combined with a pair of jeans. obviously since its textured i thought it could work but your style assessments have always been on point so id like to know what youd think of such a combination :)

It really depends what you are looking for Alex, and what you are wearing. For a more modern shape, I’d take Carlos santos. For a rounder classic shape, I was ok with the cobbler union. For more unique learners, sons of Henrey has this option.
@@MisiuAcademy I am looking a more interesting last. Most of my current collection are from Loakes and very classic. My Loake double monks have a nice chisel toe to them which I do enjoy to look at. Last year for my wedding purchase from TLB the spectators collab they did with Parisian Gentleman which I love. I was just going to go to TLB but most of the boots I like are leather soles, I'm after at a daynite at least, and not sure I want to MTO for a pair I will be using for casual walking.
Of course, the good thing with this MTO is that it has no surcharge. The santos Chukkas in calf or suede I have in the shop should tick all your boxes. Sleek, dainite, versatile color.

Both are fine for any wear and you don’t have to worry about it. Go for the one that looks best!
