Hi Jason thanks for the video, I like to pass on my frustration on the Spouse visa, please not take this personal to your firm but maybe you could do a video on my comment. I have been watching so many video's regarding spouse visa's as well as other visa types. as I am a UK national but living in the Philippines and married to a Filipina for last 10 years, my beef with the UK government is very simple, Why is it so expensive and so difficult to bring my wife and child to the UK including having to pay extra for an English test. Yet Visitors and Now even non British visa applicants can live and work in the UK with out and English test, plus those applying for work visa not only is it cheaper and they not need to pay the health surcharge or do the English test but the visa can last up to 5 years. A spouse Visa that allows the spouse to work witch also means paying taxes and NI, is only allowed to stay for 2 years 8 months before paying again for an extension. I think there is a major issue regarding the differences for a true spouse that has proved their commitment to being together, yet the British Government seems to favor foreigner workers that can't speak English over people that can speak English. Surely during the visa Application interview the accessor can deterring weather the person applying can speak English with out paying 150+ depending on the country and location for an English test
Question. Why are all requirements not clearly put forth in any organised logical manner by the government of either the UK or the US? Thank you for your video series. My UK Fiance hired your firm and we are waiting on the decision at present. My visa has been dispatched, but due to extreme weather conditions across the US delivery is very delayed. Also, why when the decision has been made and visa dispatched is the answer not given the solicitor in that email? Why the waiting game when they obviously have made a decision?
Hi ,My husband is UK citizen and lives in uk .We got married on 29th of January 2020 in the UK. I'm a Canadian. I was stuck in the UK during COVID-19 and it's extended my stay twice by home office. When I asked 3rd time to extend home office said return to Canada. From wrong sources if I leave UK for few days my visa will automatically start for 6months.That's why I went to Tenerife for 5 days .When I returned to UK Immigration stopped me and asked me why I'd returned. I bluntly replied that if I leave UK in return my visa will starts for 6months. They detained me for over eight hours. Finally released on one condition that's I've to apply my UK Spouse Visa within 14 days. We applied it but visa was rejected and said to leave UK and go back to Canada.I left UK voluntarily on 18th August 2022. Now I am in Canada. My question is can I apply uk spouse visa now ? Is it different procedure to apply than others or is the same. Can I apply now?I'm very scared and confused...thank you.

Me and my gf met abroad so she has been earning money but outside the UK is it possible to use money sge made abroad this year towards the income requirement
this video is very informative and helpful even though i am just seeing this after submitting my spouse visa application. But i would like to know what i could do before my appointment date in the case where one of my sponsor payslips is £1074 though it clearly states on employment contract and letter from employer that the Gross annual salary is £31k. will the calculation method of using the lowest pay still apply here please?
I had one of my payslips which was deducted also but on the payslip it clearly states that I had some unpaid leave. But my application was still accepted. Fyi if you can submit 12 months payslip just to be on the safe side

We want to relocate to the UK in 2024 using the SAVINGS ROUTE of 62,500 GBP with guaranteed adequate accommodations. Thank you for this informative video. My concern is that my British husband is going to apply for a spouse visa to bring me to the UK, but we have decided to wait as he has debts from banks and financial companies and everything is above £10,000. We would like to know if we can start the process to submit an application now or if he needs to pay off his debts before? I appreciate your answer. Thanks.

Another very clear, informative video. Do you happen to know, how long on average a UKVI case worker would spend considering a spouse visa application? Just curious, as we submitted around 70 documents for my wife's application and wonder if they actually studied every doc.
My husbands application took less than the time they mentioned. I was given 23 weeks but his application was accepted within 21 weeks. We applied june 8th and got accepted 3rd November i believe

How can you live together for 2 years without a visa to live in the same country. Stupid rule.
I uploaded the ecctis certificate for proof of english test. This is what my solicitor recommended. I'm confused if this is still acceptable
