      Because it is a moment where they are truly powerless, these types of people have strengthened themselves and hardened themselves to everything they can to ensure their own safety and their own ability to be self reliant, when that is taken away from them, they are vulnerable, and because they have spent so long trying to be strong, when that is taken away, they don't know how to be vulnerable, so they do the only thing that is natural to them, fight. Its about perspective.
      A strong man who has always been strong will not know how to be weak, and a weak man who has always been weak will not know how to be strong. That is when the most primal base aspects of the brain act, 'fight or flight'

      When people panic they begin to lose trust. When they are kept in the dark they lose trust. People should take the advice of medical professionals but it's an inevitability that such trust in starts to wane when they aren't being told the full truth. The idea of keeping things quiet to avoid panic doesn't always work. Carter is right, but what those men did was just human nature.

    Lmao and they say women are the ones that get too emotional or hysterical.

    • @Seek1878
      @Seek1878 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Men have successfully rebranded anger as somehow not being an emotion.

    • @TimberlakeTigerGirl
      @TimberlakeTigerGirl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funny thing about that is that, according to studies, men are in fact more emotional than women. The only time women really exceed men with emotional outbursts are during their periods, pregnancy and a few months after childbirth when their brain chemicals are a bit out of wack. The reason it is thought that women were more emotional is simply because women were allowed to have outbursts and express their emotions. Men for centuries believed emotions made them weak and that crying was only for women and children. So boys were raised to suppress their emotions as much as possible and be logical. Think of it as like the Vulcans from Star Trek: suppresses their emotions and embrace logic.
      But, like with Vulcans, Human men without the emotion filter are more prone to violence than women. When women get angry, there's still a bit of rationality to them that let's them calm down and that anger will simmer down to crying. But it's not the same with men; studies show that once they get angry enough, logic is thrown out the window. Hence why men are more likely to kill and assault people when they've hit the breaking point.
      Sorry to any men who might find this somehow offensive. But it makes sense: Out of all the women leaders throughout history, how many of them lead genocides and wars just because they felt insulted vs male leaders? If you look at the list of war criminals, the number of women being on the list is extremely low.

      Because their size and strength gives them a false sense of authority and power. That leads to complacency, which results in stupidity.

    If a virus outbreak worst than Covid that guarantee to kill anyone infected within 24-48 hrs. Does the government simply shoot to kill anyone trying to escape quarantine? That the infected are accepted gone and the only measure is limit the spread even if it means killing those who refuse to quarantine in a specific area. In this case, the hospital?

      I remember listening to a radio show around the first three months of major COVID (so after March 2020).
      There were armed guards outside of a man’s house keeping him in because he had COVID and the only thing that kept him in was those guards.
