I know people like to hear about all the new stuff, but personally, I want to know what holds up (or falls apart) and will be made for at least 2-4 years. I hate videos that are just new unboxings... "OOOOOooohhhh, look at the nice packaging and cool paperwork!" I watched a few reviews lately on hydration backpacks and the reviewer admitted to not even trying out the water bladder. Whaaaa ....really?

It's frustrating because I've wasted a lot of money on gear based on such reviews. That's why I prefer too recommend After using the gear extensively on the trails for at least a year. Recently, I've been investing in building my camera and editing setup, which has been quite costly, especially as I've gone through various drones and cameras in search of the perfect setup. Final thing i added was insta360 x3 for 360 experience of the trails .. been a bit of pain in editing still deciding if it worth it or not more trail and error in the testing stage

Just a simple set of Profile design 35A / nice shape for both my gravel & MTB bikepacking rig - you can see them on the bike in the background. Have a nose bridge & middle bridge for electronics
Well done. With that Salty sense of humour, I’m kinda thinking you considered doing that heat forming session in your tighty whities. 😂 But didn’t want to screw with the algorithm this time. Good call dude.👍
Yes... in both positions. It's completely the edge design. Not that thrilled with the edge. I'm going to pick up a Tantalus model and see what improvements have been made, and how well it works (for me) on my MTB/bikepacking rig.
@@SaltyBeard_Adventures Thanks so much for this info. Like many relatively short men, I do have a relatively narrow pelvis and this is always a concern for me. Only the very narrow-nosed saddles fit me.
@@qifanzou5886 / yes I did, and rode it for the Log Drivers Waltz - I found it much better for the upright position of a MTB (vs roadie/gravel) - while it's a very nice saddle and very good fit once moulded, it's still what I call an 80% saddle for me. Not quite as comfy a my brooks, but close. Wish this model had a little more padding (even with the shaping). Still a great all-day saddle. But maybe not quite the perfect shape for me.

Did you find that the saddle rubs against the inner thigh after extended periods, riding with pelvis rotated?
