This watch is just pure perfection. These little pops of green on the second hand and the power reserve indicator in front of that beautiful grey backdrop, so tasteful! All of with the Spring Drive that is simply the best movement you can get below 10 grand and finally it's got the goldilocks diameter of 39 mm...
When I first saw this I wasn't a fan of the green hands.
Looking now, I think there's just enough colour there, and the muted tone means it doesn't look too garish.
Thanks for giving me a closer look at this watch - I think I'm starting to like it.
I just need to find a few thousand dollars down the back of the sofa!

I’ve been considering this model lately, along with the Cherry Blossom and Blue Skyflake. What kind d discount do you think I might get at a Grand Seiko boutique or AD? I’m planning to visit one in Miami next month. Also, how has the bezel held up? Easily scratched? I have a Bremont diver with hardened steel and it seemingly can’t be scratched. Not fair to compare it against this GS for sure, but am curious how well it holds up. Glad you are enjoying your watch. GS are great watches for sure. Love the Spring Drive.
@Kermit26297 this has held up wonderfully. Wear it almost everyday and no major scratches as of now and it runs plus 2 seconds per week which is insane. I asked for a 15% discount and didn't get any push back at all, Couldn't hurt to ask for more though. Cheers!

I have this exact same watch and love it overall. Do you find that it is extra reflective in certain angles? I know the sunburst dial adds to this effect... but sometimes I see double reflections, where the second one is smaller than the first so it can compromise legibility in certain angles. Just wanted to see if other owners had seen this. Thank you

I refer to that dial color as Charcoal.
That's nice. I prefer that bracelet to the ones that have the two polished lines running thru the links. I definitely want a Spring Drive at some point, but there are quite a few watches in line ahead of it. I have no need of a dress watch, as such, so I may end up with one of their sportier Spring Drives. They do make a fantastic watch, though.

Anthracite dial with olive seconds hand... pas mal, as the french would say.
Used to own this model. Bought it online. Just a bit too formal for my tastes. Also can't get a great fit on the Grand Seiko bracelets. Really is a beautiful watch though
Not a fan of the green on screen, maybe in person it looks better. Everything else Is really good and great price

You mention issues? What issues do Grand Seiko have? Or it's just in your head, the movements and finishing are leaps and bounds better then the swiss, you don't find any better watchmaker in the world! And that's a fact
