Thank you Rev.Fr. Mike for spending your most precious time to nourish us with the word of God. It's so much a privilege to learn the Bible with you in 365 days. Praise God for guiding us with Good Shepherds. Amen. Hallelujah
For years I've been receiving signs from God to come back to the light and open my swollen cold heart to his light and warmth, this morning I decided to act and it was the craziest experience of my life. I started crying and I felt this warmth exploding out of my chest and wash over my body. I felt calm and at peace. Thank you father for this, and thank you God for showing me the light. When I first heard the line today of who told you that you are naked, definitely sounded like a heartbroken disappointed father.
I have never read the Bible, so I'm excited to participate in this course and develop the relationship with God that I really have never had. Thank you, Father Mike. I cannot imagine the hours it has taken to put this all together!
I also have never read the Bible like this and was excited to begin and now here it is already the 15th day in and I am even more excited for this journey! During the past 15 days, this journey has uncovered deep insights for me that I never expected. I am savoring every moment. I hope you are as well.
I am generally pessimistic about the internet and its effect on people, but it is impossible to deny the power of having this kind of material available to everyone.
Thank you again for putting this on TH-cam. As someone with a severe hearing impairment, having closed captioning Fr. Mike’s’ “homilies” is wonderful. I have tried reading the Bible many times in the past but I would give up because I had so many questions and/or didn’t understand what the scriptures was trying to teach me. I have been a faithful Catholic all my life, I am in my 50’s now, and I have gone to Mass every Sunday, but I have never been able to hear and understand the words being spoken in the homilies. So I am so looking forward to doing this every day. Again, thank you for this!❤️
Likewise for me… so i shared this to my friends for them too could have these blessings. This is just like having an one on one tutorial. What a gift !!! Thanks Fr. Mike
I fully agree! ☺️ From my personal experience i would advise you to go every now and then to mass during the week. It's a completely different story! We can discover so many hidden unknown passages of scripture, and every day the priest shares about them in the homily. Even the environment is different, since (unfortunately) so many people on Sunday are there just because it's Sunday and we "have to", and not because they want to learn more about God. Going a "not special" day feels so familiar, and it's so beautiful to be there, maybe with just a few people, when Jesus is there every day waiting for us.
Two down and 363 more to go! I look forward to growing closer to Christ. I thank Ascension Press, Jeff Cavin, and Father Mike for making this available.
That moment when Father Mike mentioned God's heartbreak during the first fall is truly eye-opening, revealing how God desires us to belong to Him and to experience the love of His presence. Thank you, Lord, for loving us immensely. Prayers, sisters and brothers in Christ!

the Fall has never sounded so heartbreaking to me before listening to this podcast. I’ve always views the Fall and the events thereafter as angry consequences to our sin and brokenness. I’m so touched by the way you portrayed the heartbreak of the Father. it made me sad to think that we were created by a perfect God, lacking nothing, to belong to him and to be in holy relationship and communion with. and the trap of the enemy and the temptations of sin created a rip in that relationship. but for the first time I can see Gods heartbreak and His rushing to remedy the situation. Even in the midst of brokenness and separation, He’s clothing Adam and Eve, He’s giving them opportunities to be pointed back to the love of God even if it’s thru suffering and sacrifice. He’s still leaving the door open for glimpses of heaven while promising the fullness of an eternity with him. I could go on and on. I’m so grateful for God and happy to be following along with this awesome podcast.

Once again, thank you so much for making this podcast, it has given me a place to organize my Bible study. Your analysis of Genesis 3-4 was very insightful. I never considered how God's 'punishment' for Adam and Eve could be intended to teach us to choose love in the face of temptation and to show us the relationship between love and sacrifice. As others have mentioned, this love is exemplified by Jesus' sacrifice so that we could have a chance for everlasting life. I appreciate the distinction you made between 'believing in God' and 'belonging to God.' I hope that I can learn to resist temptation and belong to God. I also appreciated your analysis of the story of Cain and Abel. I hope to dedicate the first of my fruits to serve and glorify God. I hope that when I am angry and broken I will not sin. These lessons are exemplified in Psalm 104, particularly how God shows His caring heart by teaching us to choose love and how we should glorify God. I am excited to continue this journey throughout this year. Thank you for all of your efforts to spread God's word. :) Day 2 - 1/2/2022
Thank you Father Mike for the way you break down the scripture to make understandable, you make it so interesting that you look forward to the next day.

Thank you Fr. Mike!! This is the first time God rejecting Cain's offering ever made sense to me! Love the comparison of first fruits to our prayer life 😊
My comprehension is horrible my brain is soo slow. Help me Jesus to understand and to complete bible in a year. ❤😢
He speaks fast, you can try slowing it down to 0.8 speed. Click the cog icon on the top right. God bless. Ask Our Lady to help you as well.

Hi y’all 👋Happy day 2. It’s important to remember where we are & when we are. We’ve just started this amazing journey through the Bible in a year. I’m trying to decide do I take an entire year to go through the Bible or go through it it quicker?🙏❤️
@James_RC Watch for my comments. I haven’t decided yet. I want to St. Faustina’s Diary too & not sure I have time for both.
@@TrixRN I have three doctor appointments this week so I am working a little ahead so that I do not get behind. So good to see you here. I have just finished day 3 and decided to see who was here now. St. Faustina's Diary is quite quick (usually only 10-12min. a day.) if you do it with the Marians reading it with you. I am almost finished with it.🥰🙏
@@dianefrank3688 Which appointments do you have?
@James_RC 😊🙏❤️
@@TrixRN❤ I am doing BIAY ❤. I will check out St Faustina DIAY; I will do my best. Prayers for all❤

Day 2 for me. I am a Lutheran and am enjoying this daily Bible study
I so needed to hear this today!!!
Day 2 - 1/2/2022

Thank you Father Mike for the way you break down the scripture to make understandable, you make it so interesting that you look forward to the next day.
