Its hilarious to me that she says she's embarrased by mistakes but they're the same beginner mistakes as everyone makes! Good on her, this was a great video!
Those H510 cases are so well built. My system was inside my old car when I rolled it in a ditch. Brushed it off with like one bent part of the chassis by the psu and that was it.
This was very nice to watch. Anna's absolutely lovely. I remember the first time I took my pre-built apart, I was sweating untop of shaking so she held her calm quite nicely. Cheers and all the best.

That nervousness is so relatable. I've lost count of how many PCs I've built by now, and I still got the nerves when I built a brand new rig for the first time in 15 years this week. I STILL shake when I peek in the side panel and see just how much money I put into that thing.
I'm loving my NZXT system so far. I do wish this had been a option a few months back when I ordered mine but their customer service has been on point when I've had questions come up
@@BiblicalTeachings Yes it's a rarity and some people say that's not because "women are different than men", it's just because on the first years of children life, boys plays with legos building space ships, and girls plays with dolls making virtual tea for them and changing their clothes. Kind of unfair to say 😂 It’s healthy for y’all to have separate likes. Willing to bet she has plenty of hobbies u don’t like, or think is dumb. I met my husband in an MMO about 15 yrs ago. So we had gaming/PC stuff in common. I also was super into Camaros, old muscle cars, building fiberglass speaker boxes, and goin to the beach at night. He liked building absurd bike ramps, skateboarding, hunting… The real trick is to keep ur hobbies, but find things u can both enjoy (tolerate hahah). Chances are she doesn’t even realize u actually want her to join in, or if she has kids-she’s too drained from parent stuff, maybe she’s worried u might laugh at her.. so many possibilities. Sry. It’s none of my business, I just felt bad for u cause u have that “grass is always greener” talk. That’s just gonna become a self fulfilling prophecy unless u challenge the way u think about & approach about this kinda stuff. Take care!
I had to look away because I almost spit my water on my keyboard when you lifted that CPU cooler up! I think this is a really cool concept for NZXT to do. So many people feel overwhelmed when I say that (in normal times) it's much better to build your own PC. When I built my first many years ago, I just did a lot of reading. Building a PC today is far, far easier than it used to be. Also there are less tacky builds than back in the day. If this is a success, it would be nice to open up PC building to more people in a way like this. Once you do a bit of reading, watch a YT video, and do your first build, you'll feel accomplished and have more confidence in yourself. You are all capable of building your own PC! And then having to spend more time working on RGB than actually playing games.
hey dawid, I recently got addicted with your Videos and i realy enjoy watching your Videos Specially that random jokes you made it really make my day, thank you
Seeing the unsquished thermal paste after Anna had to go back and remove the cooler was hilarious. Other than that, she did a clean build and it was fun to watch.
Seriously awesome video Dawid & Anna (w/low key assist to NZXT). Building PC's intimidates regular folk and this is a great video which will not only entertain, but also inform potential builders on how rewarding it can be to do it yourself. Kudos for NZXT for this push into DIY PC too. (Takes balls to do this from a Business standpoint)
What a fun video to watch! Congrats to you both. Also, since we cannot build any computers any more, it is so refreshing and satisfying to have a look at shiny new parts being assembled and in a fun way too. Keep it up!
This was actually a really great look at the BLD kit. I was curious about how it was all put together, and I think this is a really nice option for those that want to build it themselves and save a bit of money, but want everything to be compatible. One thing, Dawid, does the literature have a section for "Stuff That Could Go Wrong"?
It did. We could have showed that part of the book. There was a long troubleshooting section and lots of customer support videos/links/tips. It was well thought out I must say.
Man it is so easy to build in NZXT cases, also very cool of them to actually make that " Guide " kit thingy, most of my friends could use one of those, instead of having to constantly call me over the phone, or make me assemble their PCs *SIGHS*
I love this. As someone with lots of experience building PCs, I think it's super cool NZXT has put together kits like this with illustrations and whatnot to make the process as accessible as possible. I may actually recommend this kind of thing to people in the future after seeing this video. I mean...knowing how to do everything without help is great and all, but like why have kits like this one not been a thing for so much longer? lol. We've had "PC build kits" that'll pair parts for you online to make sure it's all compatible and stuff, but then when it's sent to you, you're expected to figure out the assembly on your own. Oh, and bonus points for Windows being pre-installed! No one ever talks about that part of the process. It's not like it's a difficult thing to do, but for someone doing it for the first time, I could see it being pretty intimidating.
Anna should be in more videos. You two have a good vibe and a similar sense of humour. Anna: “Secure the nuts.” You both laugh. She represents someone who might totally build on of these computers so it’s very relatable. Great job both, as always! One question: what software are you using to display the temps and such during gameplay?
watching someone new to computer building use this is really cool, really shows how much research went into making that manual. The cable management section is amazing.
I've seen 10+ year "PC Techs" do the exact same thing with cpu coolers and fans. Anna did a great job, Definitely something to be proud of. Congrats Anna!
I want to congratulate Anna on a frankly spectacular job. Also NZXT for providing such a good introduction for new builders. One thing Anna did much better than I ever have is the cable management! Having three sata drives connected DOESN'T help, but I'm sure if she had those too she'd have presented it nicer than I've managed to. Thanks to this video, I now know how to install a modern Intel processor, which believe it or not, I haven't done yet. Good video.
So, because the heatsink and fan wasnt making any contact with the cpu, the computer was crashing. Dell, on the other hand, only considers a cpu "overheating" when the computer is crashing. Conclusion: for a Dell to be overheating it literally need to have NO heatsink/fan. (If your fan dies but you still have a big heatsink, i think it will still throttle massively but not crash). Maybe a video idea for Dawid 🤔
I built my mom a little pc out of My leftover parts and after a while she started complaining it was slow and hard to do anything with. I finally was over and checked it out. The cpu was running at 73c and throttling back dog slow. I looked it over and one of the heatsync mounts was broken and it wasn't really tight on the cpu any more. I didn't have another one with me and so eventually I found a twist tie and cranked the loose side down with that. It dropped back to the mid 20s and was fast and happy again. I actually was in the bios screen and looking at the temp as I tightened it down and could watch it drop immediately when I got it right. It ran for years till I upgraded it again.
NGL the instruction manual is actually well presented. I wish I had something like this when I did my first build. But overall this is actually a fantastic first build and the cable management is pretty good for what it is
Great job Anna! I think videos like this are very important because they demonstrate that nearly anyone can assemble a PC.. they really ARE insert tab A into Slot B equipment now. So many people are afraid , when really its very easy to learn and do.
as a person that has created a few work instructions or procedures at work I can appreciate and understand the work that has gone into that manual. Looks like NZXT did a good job. And so did Anna
That is a really cool idea that NZXT done. Gives everyone the opportunity to learn how to build a pc from scratch. Makes me wish that they did this last year when I built my pc.
5:50 To be fair, if I was a youngster and didn't know anything, I would totally have tried removing that chipset heatsink thinking it was for the M.2 slot. I think a slight revision to the book might help to warn users of it.
I was laughing so hard after she lifted the cooler and there was that intact blob of the paste on CPU... ;D But otherwise good job, wife knows what she's doing!
The girl did good..cooler mounting mistake is something we could all do wrong..processor has protection for that so no damage..nice looking case too..an RGB striplight would complete it perfectly..no need to add liquid cooling..a little late fan hum is fine..great video Dawid

Wanted to try build a PC with my son but don’t trust myself to buy components. Almost debating going this route so I know everything is compatible and fits proper.
And in today's marketplace, you most likely will not be able to purchase all of the components at reasonable prices individually. But remember this; "No, try not. Do or do not. There is no try."
Such a cool and, dare I say it?... wholesome video. I've reluctantly come to terms with the fact that this build-kit package deal that NZXT has come out with really does present a good value with a great concept and experience that come along with it. Honestly, I find it rather shocking (after the fact, of course) that this sort of thing is only just now being offered by any of the big boy system integrators. Great job, Anna!!!!! Mediocre camera work, Dawid. GGs
It does feel kinda weird that nobody's come out with something like this before, probably because it's something so simple that we're all shocked that it hasnt existed up until now
This was a great video. A very enjoyable thing to watch. More companies should have this kind of program. I would like to see her. Build an 8 storage drive nas. How about Streaming setup. Once again thank you for posting this video…
Dawid: You can't say stuff like that or people will know you're not a total noob. Anna: The only reason why I know Ryzan has pins is because of how many times you've bent them. Dawid was sent to the burn unit at the local hospital after the filming of this video.
I got my BLD kit yesterday and it included a motherboard with an AM4 socket but the provided CPU is an i5 11400F. NZXT is going to replace the motherboard, but has specific packing instructions for the motherboard so now I need to go purchase supplies that meet their shipping return criteria. I hope others have better luck with their kits! Definitely killed my excitement for building my first PC.

Yay, Anna! That's really was a very nice job and with some seriously clean, professional cable management. And the cooler mount mistake, it never occurred to me you CAN mount the brackets backwards like that. Kind of an oversight on the mounting design, I think. When dumb connectors don't let you do it backwards it's surprising something so important can be "successfully" installed upside down. To me that's a design oversight. Fantastic work, Anna!
I am envious of that cable management. It doesn't matter how hard I try to make my cables neat, I end up just cramming the side panel on and squishing them.

@@TheJunnutin whoah whoah chilllll
Kudos to you, Anna, for being so patient. I would have immediately tossed the instructions and an hour later, sheepishly retrieved them when I realized I screwed up.
I mean the concept is pretty cool for a first time builder, and I gotta say that case is beautiful. But I do think you probably spend a bit more than you should on it for the ease of it all. However It's a super cool way to get people into PC building! I love it!
It's a $60 hot box not what I would call beautiful
I like the case too. The final product looked really good. I think the added experience with the book, and journey makes it worth the extra cost. Buts that’s just my opinion :)
@@AnnaDoes It is a nice way to get an RTX3060 Ti these days!
One of my favorite videos so far! Sounds like Anna had lots of fun and it's always cool to see somebody enjoying the PC building process
It was really fun!
I love it when "Wife Does Tech Stuff"

@@AnnaDoes ANNA HERSELF!
Its hilarious to me that she says she's embarrased by mistakes but they're the same beginner mistakes as everyone makes! Good on her, this was a great video!
my beginner mistake was bent the pins in the MB socket of a 450-dollar MB, so it turned into a 600-dollar board as it cost 150 to replace the socket.
This is way more wholesome than i expected and i love it. Hope to see similar content in the future
Thank you :) it was really fun to film.
@@AnnaDoes Great job Anna, was a awesome video. Big thumbs up to you and Dawid on this.
Those H510 cases are so well built. My system was inside my old car when I rolled it in a ditch. Brushed it off with like one bent part of the chassis by the psu and that was it.
good lord man. rolled your car in a ditch? hope you had some clean underwear to put on after taking that kind of a ride
Watching Anna build a PC from this kit is good fun. Her enthusiasm and gremlin energy on camera is such a great match to Dawid

"3080 ti"
in my mind: 3080 tie.
Damn you Steve, your clips follow me everywhere 😂
Thanks, Steve!
Back to you Steve...
@Randy Names oh sorry, but even if it is a 3060, it's still "tie"
This was very nice to watch. Anna's absolutely lovely. I remember the first time I took my pre-built apart, I was sweating untop of shaking so she held her calm quite nicely.
Cheers and all the best.
2:04 maybe my most shameful point in the whole video... Kids, box-cutters should be RESPECTED!
Best part....Anna saying that she wanted to build without the instructions......Anna your not alone people rarely follow instructions. It came out beautifully. Really nice job
Her build is nicer than anything I've ever done when i first started lol--especially cable management. Might have to ask my girl to do my cable management lol!
Of all the wife does PC build vids, these might be one of the best! love the laughter and joy from putting together a PC, great vid!
Your wife definitely learned from you! She knows quite a bit of stuff right off the beginning!
I mean average people don't even know what RAM is or looks like!
I do wish this had been a option a few months back when I ordered mine but their customer service has been on point when I've had questions come up
I did my first PC build about 28 years ago and Anna did a FAR superior job than I did way back when.
Well done!!
I wish my wife could get this excited about anything Im interested in.
yeah, this guy appears lucky for sure
@@BiblicalTeachings Yes it's a rarity and some people say that's not because "women are different than men", it's just because on the first years of children life, boys plays with legos building space ships, and girls plays with dolls making virtual tea for them and changing their clothes. So the girl's brains develop in different zones than boy's brains. I have simplyfied the theory but I think everybody can understand it even with my high school level english.
Have you considered divorce lol?
Kind of unfair to say 😂 It’s healthy for y’all to have separate likes. Willing to bet she has plenty of hobbies u don’t like, or think is dumb.
I met my husband in an MMO about 15 yrs ago. So we had gaming/PC stuff in common. I also was super into Camaros, old muscle cars, building fiberglass speaker boxes, and goin to the beach at night. He liked building absurd bike ramps, skateboarding, hunting…
The real trick is to keep ur hobbies, but find things u can both enjoy (tolerate hahah).
Take care!
But women and men are different lolllll
And then having to spend more time working on RGB than actually playing games.
hey dawid, I recently got addicted with your Videos and i realy enjoy watching your Videos Specially that random jokes you made it really make my day, thank you
Aww that’s awesome!! Glad you found the channel and are binging 😀
Seeing the unsquished thermal paste after Anna had to go back and remove the cooler was hilarious. Other than that, she did a clean build and it was fun to watch.
I feel TRAPPED....
...on this channel with how cool you two are. Do more like this! It's fun with you both!
The book looks really good on this. Cables on back of motherboard panel look better than I’d have bothered doing! 😆
@@AnnaDoes Can you speak Deutsch?
Man it is so easy to build in NZXT cases, also very cool of them to actually make that " Guide " kit thingy, most of my friends could use one of those, instead of having to constantly call me over the phone, or make me assemble their PCs *SIGHS*
I just love the energy Anna brought into this project. :D
you need Linode!
One question: what software are you using to display the temps and such during gameplay?
it’s MSI Afterburner, Jayztwocents has a video on how he gets it to be setup like that
@@dmilk okay. I kind of thought so but wasn’t 100% sure. Thanks kindly
watching someone new to computer building use this is really cool, really shows how much research went into making that manual. The cable management section is amazing.
The cable management was on point!
I've seen 10+ year "PC Techs" do the exact same thing with cpu coolers and fans. Anna did a great job, Definitely something to be proud of. Congrats Anna!
If someone isn't familiar with those types of coolers it can definitely, like my uncle for example lol.
Good video.
Thank you kind person. I was most terrified of the cable management section so I’m glad It worked out okay 😅
"Oh yeah, Anna Tech Tips"
Me in my head and out loud: "nononononono"
Gamers Nexus would be proud of that mounting pressure!!! lol
Oh shit 😂
this was actually pretty sweet seeing them doing a video together :D hopefully it continues
Joh! What a thought…
I built my mom a little pc out of
My leftover parts and after a while she started complaining it was slow and hard to do anything with.
Great job! Loved the video... But that beginning scared the hell out of me. I think the box cutter should have come with instructions. Lol
Dawid needs his own show on tv, he's a star here in germany....
NGL the instruction manual is actually well presented. I wish I had something like this when I did my first build. But overall this is actually a fantastic first build and the cable management is pretty good for what it is
4:40 "I'm soo boss" welcome to dark souls, you died 2 minutes later /s
great job on the build, Dawife
Great job Anna! I think videos like this are very important because they demonstrate that nearly anyone can assemble a PC.. they really ARE insert tab A into Slot B equipment now. So many people are afraid , when really its very easy to learn and do.
NZXT has an amazing concept here. I wish they would have more low end for kids etc. Also, we need more videos with Anna!
now if they only included that riser that doubles as a campfire starter ;)
Bold having her build the whole thing in the case before testing to make sure all the parts work.
Love the videos with the wifey dawid 😂
as a person that has created a few work instructions or procedures at work I can appreciate and understand the work that has gone into that manual. Looks like NZXT did a good job. And so did Anna
Well thank you! And I agree - that manual took hours of labor and loads of graphic design to make it look as epic as it did.
Hats off for NZXT :) What a great way to get people into PC building ;)
That is a really cool idea that NZXT done. Gives everyone the opportunity to learn how to build a pc from scratch. Makes me wish that they did this last year when I built my pc.
5:50 To be fair, if I was a youngster and didn't know anything, I would totally have tried removing that chipset heatsink thinking it was for the M.2 slot. I think a slight revision to the book might help to warn users of it.
Tbf Its probably pretty hard to remove, its not a screw (its like clips on the back of the motherboard you need to squeeze)
This was absolutely amazing. I want to see more content involving your wife! It is so much fun seeing them explore the wonders of PC's :)
I was laughing so hard after she lifted the cooler and there was that intact blob of the paste on CPU... ;D
But otherwise good job, wife knows what she's doing!
The girl did good..cooler mounting mistake is something we could all do wrong..processor has protection for that so no damage..nice looking case too..an RGB striplight would complete it perfectly..no need to add liquid cooling..a little late fan hum is fine..great video Dawid
this guy being married is the real shocker
Judging from where her watch is in shot looks like it took her around 4 hours or so. That's pretty impressive for a beginner! Well done Anna!
This is honestly really good. Well done NZXT.
Yeah I was impressed :) and had a great time
@@AnnaDoes Seemed like you did! With the CPU cooler you should of tested the customer support and called them. See if they could figure out the problem.
5:05 She roasted you hard Dawid. You two are awesome, keep up the awesome work, i love seeing this channel grow, its my favourite Tech Channel.
For real. This book is amazing. Great job NZXT.
Very much agree :)
Your wife is wonderful, and your chemistry together is very obvious on camera. I knew I needed more Dawid in my life, but now I need more of both of you as well, because I laughed out loud a few times more than the standard for a DDTS vid. Also, that aggressive GPU peel that managed to take the whole thing off in one go, without tearing any bits off, was some fucking straight genie magic shit. Well done Anna
I'm so jealous of Anna, she got such a gorgeous husband! And visa versa. Dawid's got a handsome wife. Also, her cable management puts mine to shame. And I literally have OCD.
He is gorgeous 😻
Me? Handsome? Stop. You’re too kind 😹
And as for the cable management… I too have OCD. So yours must be pretty good too if that says anything 😊
Anna was AWESOME Dawid! You need to have her do more videos for sure! I know the chuffed is common in England, but wasn't aware that it was a word used in South Africa.
And the book is awesome. I highly recommend doing this with your kid 😊 if you do, let us know how it goes!
the instructionbook is on the website. you can download for other builds...
the way dawid checks the screwdrives 5:52
Such a cool and, dare I say it?... wholesome video.
I've reluctantly come to terms with the fact that this build-kit package deal that NZXT has come out with really does present a good value with a great concept and experience that come along with it. Honestly, I find it rather shocking (after the fact, of course) that this sort of thing is only just now being offered by any of the big boy system integrators.
Great job, Anna!!!!!
Mediocre camera work, Dawid.
GGs
Thank you :) it was a fun experience. I agree that this build kit is a good idea. Especially if you need a whole new system.
It does feel kinda weird that nobody's come out with something like this before, probably because it's something so simple that we're all shocked that it hasnt existed up until now
Could you imagine what dells package would be like? Like, why are there so many warranties and where do they all install?
Lets Be Honest for a sec Anna is the true star of this yt channel (lol)
Aww stop it you.

man i wish i had 1400 dollars lying around, the kit has it all to be able to play anything.

@@AnnaDoes yooo you actually commented on my comment? Thats dope! You did an amazing job for someone who didnt have a lot of experience for building computers... well except for the CPU cooler mounting tho that was hilarious. But great content overall! I had fun watching it all from start to finish, i hope you appear more on dawids videos in the future.
Awesome build! I built my last 4-5 PCs and I think Anna was faster, forgot less and seemed more secure. Real badass!
The last time I was this early Anna was still just Dawid's girlfriend.
Also, she gets to keep this absolute beast of a PC for herself, right? 😁
I am envious of that cable management. It doesn't matter how hard I try to make my cables neat, I end up just cramming the side panel on and squishing them.
Dope as fuck video mate. When I built my first PC it took me absolute ages, it was frustrating as balls but rewarding in the end. I have since built and maintained quite a few chasing that high, but nothing beats the memory of your first.
Any woman that grunts and growls in excitement when she see tools is a KEEPER! Dawid you are blessed my man! lol
Next up, I want to see the cat build a PC. Great job, Anna!
Great job! It took me 4 hours to put my first pc build together and it didn't turn on at first. Troubleshooted... was header cables.
Nice video, Anna is funny. I didn't like the video cuts, she is natural and spontaneus so I would like to see the uncut video showing her solving all the troubles I know she had to solve. Also I have noticed she looks like a young Kirsten Dunst, even with similar face gestures haha
The studio space looks so good. You designed a great place to support your channel.
