Hey guys sorry for missing last week’s upload. I tried my best but i just couldn’t finish editing it on time. Good news is (well not for me coz i already miss the show so much) i finished Agatha All Along and i’m also finishing Arcane next week so my schedule will calm down a lot and hopefully i won’t miss any more lost uploads
Thanks for returning to LOST! I was so afraid you'd decided to drop the show. Another channel I was watching dropped LOST in about the middle of the show, and I still haven't gotten over it 🤣 This show sure loves its sudden vehicular collisions -- you may recall Michael getting hit by a car in S1 as well....
Juliet was given 3 minutes to speak to Ben. Then afterwards she killed Danny (who was part of her group). Michael in S02 was given 3 minutes to speak to Walt and then later he killed Ana Lucia and Libby (who were also part of his group).
Definitely one of my favourite episodes of the season! There's SO much great stuff in season 3, though, so it's a very tough call. Re Juliet's help with Rachel conceiving, I've had similar questions about whether or not an actual 'father' was involved. Particularly with reference to the male field mouse example that you mentioned. And, yes, it's always really bothered me that Rachel chose to get pregnant while clearly in VERY poor health. (Edit: Not for her sake, but for the sake of her child-to-be, who will be left motherless from a very young age if she dies) Brilliant reaction to this fantastic episode 😍
1. You had me so confused with your comment about Richard Alpert i actually had to go to IMDB and confirm. Yes this IS actually the first time you meet him and his eyeliner. You were talking about the ACTOR not aging in 20 years. 2. The Jack and Kate story is actually important for those who ship them because it is their first interaction in the pilot. 3. Juliette is a fertility specialist, her sister had one wish and that was to be pregnant. Chemo messes up the fertility. It is not said but assumed if Juliette could steal drugs she also can steal some sperm most likely. It is not partogenesis or something like that. 4. You missed a very important name drop in the room 23 scene, a name you should remember from now on (doesn't count as a spoiler since it was in this episode: "God loves you as He loved Jacob"). Also, I still think this is the best season of Lost. Peak TV, and highly bingeable before people even realized that was a thing. Can hardly wait for the rest of season 3 and especially the finale. P.S. A blink-and-you-miss-it shoutout to Rob McElhenney and all the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia fans.
Juliet's sister got pregnant the old fashioned way I assume, all Juliet was doing was trying to fix the fact that she was sterile due to her cancer treatments.
In Room 23 Aversion therapy was being used on Karl. A similar therapy was called the "Ludovico Technique" in the 1971 film "A Clockwork Orange" where the main protagonist is named Alex who volunteered for this experimental criminal rehabilitation therapy. It brainwashes the participant into becoming averse to certain beliefs and actions. In ACO, it made Alex averse to violence (and also to Classical music which was his favorite kind of music). Obviously the Others had a different goal in mind for Karl.
I couldn't actually get through that scene in 'A Clockwork Orange' and ended up feeling so nauseous that I literally crawled out of the room on my hands and knees 😆
@@letsrock1729 Yeah that's a tough scene in ACO. Its almost like the Director was practicing Aversion Therapy on the film audience. Fortunately viewers had the choice to look away. But Alex did not deserve to be rehabilitated, he deserved the death penalty for child rape and murder. However this was a futuristic dystopian film.
@@x_trio_3_po333 Or 'crawl away', in my case 😊 This happened way back in 1990, so I don't remember the finer details (about the plot). But I do remember the Beethoven itself literally making me sick to my stomach (due to the context/with the visuals). It's always very impressive film making when something affects you that viscerally.
judging by the fact that it’s skipped over in the edit, i’m guessing you didn’t catch something *significant* that was mentioned on the screen in room 23. that same something that was also mentioned by danny last episode…………
The writers of "Lost" loved to hide little word games in the script. For example, Ethan Rom is an anagram for "Other Man". There is another interesting name in this episode. Perhaps the name of the company that is recruiting Juliet?
Juliet's sister Rachel had some serious medical issues with her fertility. Her name may have been inspired by the Old Testament where the Biblical Rachel also had some issues with fertility. Rachel was also the wife of a major OT character named Jacob, a name mentioned briefly in the previous episode, and also mentioned in the current episode on the screen in Room 23.
@joselopezforque8745 They explained the bus hitting her ex? I missed that bit. Perhaps you can tell me which episode is it referenced in? Because my best theory is it was just coincidence🤣.
We're back after three months! And things are moving fast. We had to genuinely wait three months between episodes. Alex's bio dad was Robert, who crashed with Danielle. Then he got infected, tried to shoot Danielle, but she'd taken the firing pin out of his gun, and shot him herself. Mittelos Bioscience are clearly the Others. What does that mean? We'll see. If you were excited by this episode, I can't wait for the next reaction.
Why are you answering questions that will be answered by the show, later? That's called spoilers. We usually avoid those for reactors. Okay, fine, it's not a plot spoiler, but still. The comments section is not the place to show off your knowledge of later episodes.
@@LazloHo You mean that I can't wait for the next reaction? Lexi is on Season 3, Episode 12 on Patreon. It takes time to edit these things. I'm spoiling nothing by saying that I'm looking forward to the next reaction. And I really am. It's going to be a good one. There is nothing even remotely spoilery in my post. Everything I talk about has already been revealed.
Your opinion on the sister's pregnancy/sickness made me think. You're the most Reddit-brained non-American I've seen. How much time do you spend on Reddit daily? I feel like most of your opinions and references reflect that place.

I really love it! hahahaha

#1 - yeah i caught that too...
I'm sure she's also confused about why so many people are confused about a comment she made about an actor's aging...

I ask the same questions as you did at the end. And I've seen the series 🤣🚌💥
I don't know why, because everything or almost everything is explained and what is not explained there are very good theories

Ummm, this is Richard Alpert's first LOST episode. Why would you say he hasn't aged in 20 years?

Yeah, dude, Néstor Carbonell quite possibly might be immortal.
Yes it’s the actor she’s referring to. I’m assuming she saw him in another role lol.
Again, she missed "that" reaction in carl's room. She is smart but she has lost the big reveal about season 3 so far.
