It's a damn shame...Michael respected all these so called friends until the day he died and never said a bad word, or spread rumors about them....RIP Michael
Did mj ever make fun of other artist/person? No. Did he kill someone ? No. Did he ever insult anybody? Never. Instead he help thousand of people in need. What he get in return? People insult him left and right and invading his privacy. Truly this world is not fair.
Couldn’t agree more…that’s why he trusted and cared about children…cos they are untouched by greed and jealousy..but alas..he forgot ..those children also had the same greedy and selfish parents..who would do anything to shell out money from MJ…The world’s greatest artist, biggest humanitarian, kind, polite, innocent and humble man suffered an unimaginable pain throughout…The price of fame ,talent and kindness in this evil world🥺
🙁 wow! You sure left ALOT OUT. If your going to Praise the good you have to tell the bad or it's not fair. You wouldn't want to give anybody the wrong impression. The WORLD knows what he did. And no matter how delicate he acted or how great he could sing or dance. If there is a hell, my guess is he is back to Is his original appearance and Doesn't feel the urge too. "help" anymore children.
I watched him dance most of my life and when I found out he had Lupus and he STILL kept going my admiration grew to new heights. All the times that he went to the hospital and said it was dehydration I know he was exsperiancing some type of flair up.Sometimes it makes you confused and it can make you hurt so much you can't get out of bed.look at his hands and you can see that his joints are swollen somtimes, it is a terrible desease to have because you can't see the damage it does until your dead
To dance as much ashs did at the unmatchable standard with lupus was incredible in itself let alone all his other ailments. These producers should be ashamed, especially Quincy Jones but they're not. Michael was more of a man than the all put together
I have for the most part stayed clear of media's coverage of MJ, choosing to look at his videos & interviews where he talks about his creativity. When I saw Katie asking these leading questions & Quincy's remarks, I felt both anger and sadness. Here was MJ's whole life reduced to being no more than a confused, pitiful victim of abuse. Not someone who thrived in spite of it, or brings joy to millions of people with his music, even the music that Quincy didn't produce.
Quincy Jones is grade A, subhuman trash but he is a legend in the industry for better or worse. Still love MJ and rebuke all the snakes he had around him.
Wait this was recorded ONE DAY after he died? Some friend! If he really cared about Michael , he would be too distraught to give a interview. A simple press statment would do.

Yeah...you gotta be cold. But Q said he was raised gangster in another interview. Your values are developed young. He may have felt betrayed by MJ... Thug life.
I agree he was always honest. He told Quincy all those years ago that he had a blister in his lung and his autopsy revealed that he did have a damaged lung, and mild athritis both caused by the auto immune disease. Too bad Quincy didn´t believe him.
What Quincy is trying to say here is, he watched Michael change before his eyes and couldn't stop him. Couldn't stop the plastic surgeries. Losst touch with him as a friend. And I saw Janet on Oprah. She said she felt like she "started loosing him around Thriller". Michael did change. I am 4 years younger than Michael. I've been a fan since he was a kid. I watched it happen too. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I don't know how to explain it to you.
He had vitiligo, not chemical peels. MJ never said anything bad about u. That is what a true gentleman does. Stop bashing him, Quincy. He is no longer here to depend himself .
Chemical peels might be to treat the pitted acne scars Michael had from cystic acne. What does Quincy know. And lupus also causes skin scarring, loss of hair, nasal collapse and lung scarring. On top of that Michael had burns and vitiligo.
Risa Groyon There where dozens of bleaching creams found in Michael’s room after he passed. You don’t have to believe Quincy to see that Michael didn’t something to change his skin color.
@@framboise8895 hahahah, You seam ignorant about music. NO ONE has accomplished more across music than Quincy. Besides, who wants to work with a pedophile ?
My understanding is they had a contract for 3 albums(Off the wall,Thriller and Bad)after which i assume was natural that he didn't work with Michael any longer,so i don't understand where his(Quincy's) bitterness stems from. Has it got something to do with Naomi Campbell?,maybe Quincy didn't like Naomi working with Michael on Keep it in the closet,Too explicit for Q.I don't know i'm just wondering...
If he was in fact getting chemical peels or doing something to his skin tone (which I believe he didn't do) it was possibly to even out his skin color due to the damage left behind by vitiligo. His makeup artist confirmed that the disease initially caused a few light patches here and there, but they grew so much that eventually it was easier to apply lighter makeup to the few dark areas left than it was to cover his entire body.
If you look at the date this was uploaded, Michael's body was still warm at the time and Quincy was saying all these things. Quincy might be a psychopath
Quincy....please... MJ did change and alter his appereance and perhaps you do have a point..perhaps he didn't see how beautiful he was, but he definately had Vitiligo...
@@ssj-rose4572 He was litwrally diagnosed with vitilago, you can see it in pictures if you look it up and it was confirmed in his autopsy report so yeah okay rose.
@@bronwenable literally has nothing to do with what happened to his nose. He's never admitted to doing cocaine and no one has ever said he did. He had procedures on his nose because his own father made him hate how it looked, he would bully him since he was a child and it affected him throughout his adulthood
And Michael Jackson never said anything negative about Quincy! So sad how Quincy's talking trash about Michael! A chemical peel...... people have them all the time to combat wrinkles and stay youthful, has nothing to do with your lungs or changing the skin tone. Michael did have virtilego and lupus, 2 autoimmune diseases! And lupus does in fact scar the lungs!
Dementia or denial maybe... Or just dismissed. When people have chronic illness, they get dismissed a lot like blah blah blah... Inflammation, kidneys.... Black blah you're here so you're not sick. Ppl don't understand and can't hear until they've been there unless they're esp empathetic!

He used to thank Quincy into the 2000s....and Quincy just seems so jealous that people LOVE michael and only respect him, that he's constantly shit-talking Mike

@@sdonald83 We have done our research. There are pictures on the internet right now that show the vitiligo before he started treating it. He looked like he was about 19 to 21 years old.
In many ways Michael was almost godlike. He was a musical genious and had a heart of pure gold. He was on a crusade to change the world. He wanted to create a Childrens United Nations with one child from every nation having a voice (little known fact). He had SOOO MANY DREAMS!!! But emotionally in some ways he was like a child. He was soo very trusting. He shared too much information with people. People didn't understand his intent. This blew his dreams away.
dangerous was NOT produced By Quincy .... he produced 3 albums with Mj (off the wall, thriller , Bad) , dangerous was with teddy .... fyi ... i love dangerous and bad more than thriller ... but nowadays i am more in to history and Xscape
@johnobrien7860.Wrong. Benoquin cream he used is not at all a peeling agent. Where do you find your informations? His vitiligo and lupus began at the end of 70's. Diagnosed by A. Klein in 1983.The induction of vitiligo and lupus by enlightners is a tale. Where did you read that ?
Okay, I wasn't there but I find it very hard to believe MJ would say, "Rap is dead" in the late 80's. IMHO, if Q could see things coming a mile away, MJ could see them 10 miles away.
Michael had vitiligo and the reason he whitened his skin, perhaps, through, skin bleaching or whatever, was, because, Michael had wanted to have an even skin complexion...In terms of Michael have numerous surgeries on his nose, primarily, that was, because, as a child growing up, his dad, oftentimes, teased him and said told him that he (Michael) never got that from his (Joe's) side of the family...This shattered Michael's self-esteem and self-confidence, in relation to his looks.
@@Rogerthatx10 I'm not disputing what you said. I'm telling you that Michael never used benoquin until his doctor prescribed it for his vitiligo. People close to him have confirmed this.
Lol u sure he didn’t lie about molesting children.... bc two of the fathers of the multiple accused families of children supposedly molested coincidentally committed suicide
It's NOT SELF DESTRUCTIVE. Thank you, Michael, for caring about wanting to look your most beautiful self when you had such a difficult disease to deal with and needed to show up in front of the camera and share with us your beautiful art. They are just self-reflecting towards Michael, and it made him sad when he told those things to Quincy but he always did the best he could to share his gifts because he was loved.
and I don't care what anybody says, i'm always going to appreciate the greatest musical collaboration in the business, MICHAEL and QUINCY made history time after time after time...the greatest artist and the greatest producer producing the highest level of music, period.
Clueless! MJ took Thriller to the top. It was ALREADY selling tons, but after MJ shocked live & TV audiences at the Motown 25th, Thriller sales sky-rocked further. THAT was MJ, NOT Q! Q even wanted to scrap Billy Jean - MJ insisted it stay & it goes on to become a huge hit AND reaches #1 around the world; also becoming a historical trademark with the clothing/accessories & dance routine MJ used for it. THAT was MJ, NOT Q. WITHOUT MJ's talent what could Q’s help on Thriller have done? Not much!
A lot of people question or blame Michael for not speaking openly about his vitiligo, saying that he brought all of the rumours of skin bleaching on himself, because he simply would not admit to having a skin disorder. They seem to forget that vitiligo is an incredibly difficult condition to deal with, especially for someone already as self-concious about his looks as Michael. Katherine Jackson said that MJ called himself a 'spotted cow.' Imagine what names the press would have come up with...
He should ashamed of himself. I read articles about the same speech of him not believing MJ's claims of his skin disease. It's disgusting to talk about people that are dead and even worse to mention his kids. I never met MJ but man I can just imagine how nasty he would have been to Quincy had he heard him speaking bad of him and mentioning his kids too. Some "friend, brother".
Why should he be ashamed of himself? mj had no business taking the drugs he took and he didn't have to change his skin tone to cover his vitiligo many people live with the bloatches
@miownunique, I'm a lifelong MJ fan. I'd automatically reject even the hint of anything remotely negative about MJ. He was a god in my childhood eyes. When you grow up, you learn to take the positive & negative of a person & learn to love & appreciate them as a WHOLE person. MJ, like any public figure, or any human being for that matter, isnt above criticism. We're ALL criticized. He got a billion times more than his fair share, but I think that only proves how important he was in all our lives.
Most of MJ's plastic surgery was all corrective procedures due to his Lupus, similar to his scalp corrective surgeries after the Pepsi accident. Even Dr. Richard Strick, who reviewed MJ's medical file and worked for Sneddon, who thought MJ was guilty of the false allegation charges, despite this, insisted MJ's nose surgeries were all reconstructive due to Lupus. This is what Dr. Strick said: DR. STRICK: Lupus is also an autoimmune disease and he also had skin involvement, which had destroyed part of the skin of his nose and his nasal surgeries and all were really reconstructive, to try and look normal. QUESTION: So all these nose reconstructions you’re saying was as a result of him treating his lupus? DR. STRICK: The first one was to try and reconstruct from some scar tissue and obstruction that had happened with the skin there. It didn’t work out very well and all subsequent attempts were to make it right. I think he was trying to look like a normal guy as best as that he could.” MJ's Lupus caused scar tissue and obstruction. Even Katherine said during a 60 minute 2013 interview that MJ had extra plastic surgery due to vitiligo, saying, "People might say he over indulged in plastic surgery, but they don't know went on before, he had a skin disease (vitiligo)". So I personally believe MJ had several nose jobs due to Lupus and Vitiligo. Here's what an article said about how vitiligo affects a person's body, which does include the nose: What are the symptoms vitiligo? People who develop vitiligo usually first notice white patches (depigmentation) on their skin. These patches are more commonly found on sun-exposed areas of the body, including the hands, feet, arms, face, and lips. Other common areas for white patches to appear are the armpits and groin, and around the mouth, eyes, nostrils, navel, genitals, and rectum. All this has to do with the illuminati, which I don't care to get into. This is why MJ said "Don't you black or white me!" in his 'They don't care about us' song. This is why the poor guy was so thin during the Thriller era, and fasted every Sunday, because he was battling Lupus. Notice MJ weighed more during the 'Off the Wall' era than with Thriller, because he was battling Lupus. MJ even start to wear sun glass with Thriller, whereas with 'Off the Wall' he hardly wore glasses at all, that's because MJ was battling Lupus. During the Bad era, MJ's Lupus was in remission, because they just diagnosed his Lupus in 1986, whereas he been had it sense 1982. MJ's Lupus would still flare up with the Bad era, but it was more so with Thriller because it wasn't diagnosed with Thriller, and MJ took it into his own hands by becoming a vegetarian and fasting every Sunday, as he stated he did during the 1983 'Beat It' interview. This is why MJ said during the 1993 Oprah interview, that he only had as many facial plastic surgeries which you can count on one hand, because he never had many facial plastic surgery for beauty purposes, but for medical purposes, and only had a few facial plastic surgeries that you can count on one had for beauty purposes. MJ was under attack during the success of Thriller. MJ got Lupus, Pepsi burn, and Vitiligo during the success of Thriller, have you ever thought about that? lol. Anyway, I know exactly why these things happened to MJ, but like I said earlier, I don't care to get into the illuminati stuff right now, lol. That's whole other story, lol.
ijcn0jir3nvjn3fjcifn I'm not saying he only had one nose job! I'm saying that it's stupid that you have to bring it up! He dealt with it enough when he was alive and got a whole lotta shit for it! We didn't even know the man or his situation yet it seems to be a hot topic every time he's brought up! Can we just let it go?!
He actually did have a lung disease.... most get that with the vitiligo... and he did not tattooed his face...when vitiligo goes over time it can take all the pigments, he used just a cream to tone the face in the same color... wtf, why do you even care or speak about this. He was a great person, with only LOVE and the best entertainer of all time... stop speculating and talk about his appearance, is the person we LOVE not the color of the body.
From what I've read, MJ wasn't officially diagnosed with lupus until 1985. Before that, his butterfly rash is most prominent. The rash can become less or more visible on its own, depending on how the body is reacting to various irritants. After 1985, I'm sure Michael was put on meds, specifically hydroxychloroquine (trade name Plaquenil) or another drug like it to eliminate the rash. We all know how careful he was about covering his face & avoiding the sun, so that would also help w/ the rash.
If you actually look at Michaels face through out the years he face didn't really change. From some point of views he doesn't look that different. For example I notice that some pictures from the bad era, he looks like he did in like 2000 with lighter skin. You have to remember vitiligo, the make up, drug abuse, and AGING all had part of his appearance looking so different...plus his nose jobs. Go do your research you'll see what I'm talking about.
rather than tearing people down, we need to appreciate the amazing contribution MICHAEL and QUINCY delivered in teh world of music, the greatest artists collaborated w/the greatest producer to create music for the ages, 3 albums back to back to back....we should celebrate rather than despise because when we do that, that energy is captured by the universe, which inhibits great music to be created by future artists, let's take out the profanity and learn how to respect one another
I don't know why Quincy didn't believe Mike when he said that he had a blister in his lung. The autopsy revealed that MJ's lungs were in terrible shape and in his autobio he talks about suffering from pleurisy, inflammation of the lungs, which is linked to lupus. I don't know how he was able to sing for so long with bad lungs...
Michael was very smart, very intelligent and very advance and a very shrewd business man.He understood that in show business you have to re invent yourself to stay relative to still get people's attention, especially that he was a black artist.Though he had lupus and vitiligo,it did not stop him from doing what he loved and thats creating music and entertainment.I think He tried to hide his vitiligo at first for insurance purposes and to protect himself from being judged from ignorant people. After he admitted during Oprah interview in 1993 that he had vitiligo,it was used against him 1993 by the accusers...SEE that's what he meant people will take advantage of him.ANd this Quincy Jones who spent millions of hours with him didn't even believe him.Micheal moved On and look for new producers to create new sounds...And Quincy was just bitter
Quincy Jones did for Michael Jackson what George Martin did for the Beatles. Both were, and still are, fine musicians, orchestrators and arrangers. Neither the Beatles nor Michael Jackson would have obtained superstardom had they not met their brilliantly skilled mentors.
4.The song also reached number one in Belgian (Wallonia), France, New Zealand, Spain & Switzerland. Apart from Italy, it became a top ten hit in every major market. @UNIQUE1982....Thank you. I feel that we all have our memorable MJ and J5 experiences, but when I was very young I dug deep into the musical aspects of the J5, then MJ as a soloist. Most folks jumped on the bandwagon when he did Off The Wall and didn't know that he did 2 solo albums as a youngster. I love MJ, but not to the point of being obsessed. Personally, I feel his biggest asset was the creating process in the studio between him and the best studio musicians in the world.
Thanks for clarifying. I've always admired Quincy since the early Brothers Johnson days and he has always been avuncular and affable in his demeanour. I have the greatest respect for M.J. but I really think that he made a big mistake when he parted company with Quincy. The songs on the "Off The Wall", "Thriller" and "Bad" are way stronger than anything he did subsequent to that. Truth be told, Quincy was a major contributory factor in MJ's success as a solo artist.
I dunno, Dangerous was a pretty awesome album. After that, I think it was more about the accusations making him angry and bitter and changing the type of music he wrote than the producers.
DNG Maestro Bitter? He’s changed music more than almost any other person, produced the biggest album ever, worth several hundred million dollars and at 84 is still fucking women 50 years younger than him. He has absolutely no reason at all to be bitter. Maybe he just doesn’t give a shit or feel the need to bs about anything.
It's funny how Q worked with Michael and created the greatest album of all time, but is still not a reliable source of information about their collaboration. I can look on several videos where Quincy's opinions and recounts constantly change, drastically even!
No. They both created and blew up together BUT it's a fact that Quincy quarterbacked that. Neither one of them had reached their heights yet but were still successful. Quincy has worked with legends prior to Mike...you can't play him short justifiably.
True Virgo Nope... it was the other way around, buddy. If it wasn't for Quincy Jone, MJ wouldn't have had a GREAT JUMP START in his singing career as an artist. MJ should be very very lucky to have found a person like Quincy to work with.
@@1USAUSA I'm sure MJ would have done pretty fine, tbh. Just not sure we'd have had the same songs that were on those albums. In fact, though THRILLER was selling great...Sales actually started shooting through the roof after MJ's Motown performance and the Thriller video. Even the related clothes /outfits, etc. became iconic. The majority of that part was MJ, to be honest...He just added that extra sparkle to it all.
@@tonm08 Maybe you have a point, but I have to disagree. There are people who say they know music and then there is Quincy Jones with his deep understanding of his MUSIC. There were/are many Quincy Jones out there and their personal LIFE experiences shaped their understanding what GOOD MUSIC is. These people didn't just popup one day on the street and started writing music. If you noticed, all of MJ's all time HIT albums and tracks started coming out once Quincy Jones started to work with MJ from *Off the Wall to BAD.* As soon as MJ stopped working with Quincy, his albums and tracks from here on end wasn't the same or had the same "TOUCH" as before that people (EVERYONE) came to like and love. MJ might have had some involvement in creation of his tracks and albums, but 90% of that was all MUSIC DIRECTORS or COMPOSERS who added their TOUCH and MAGIC. Too "BAD" we would have 1000s more AWESOME all time MJ tracks if he had only worked with Quincy Jones longer than MJ did.
He wasn't a drug addict. If you see interviews about him you would know he is far from creepy. And there was nothing wrong with how he loved children unless you listen to the media's way of twisting things (which you most likely do). He also saved a young kid's life by getting him a new lung. MJ is the perfect ideal hero that people can look up to.
I used to have mad respect for Quincy. Now I'm starting to ask myself, If Q created mike, where are his other chart breaking proteges? Just acknowledge Michael was super gifted and he also personally wrote hits in Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad and had the right to work with Teddy Riley in Dangerous. Your could have raised your concerns while Mike was alive. Truth is, you was to take sole credit for a Soul that was Blessed immensely. I had you in my home's Hall of Fame with Gula Matari, Q's Jook Joint etc but your bitterness towards Mike is scary. It's as if he took some of your spotlight when he credited you as a genius whenever he was given an opportunity.
I agree rksobers, you don't last for 50 years in a field as unpredictable as teh music industry w/out gaining wisdom....I love QUINCY and MIKE....and QUINCY'S production, when you listen to his melodies are full of wisdom and understanding....
@MrSTAYUP33 MJ was a genius in his own right on so many levels, he was, and is more than just a voice, but a pioneer to a generation of POP as a whole!! Don't forget Quincy's greatest productions, and works also came with Michael Jackson as well, so don't get it twisted!!
when the deal boils down, no matter what anyone tries to do to dispute the truth of the matter...MICHAEL JACKSON and QUINCY JONES has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt they will go down in history as the greatest artist/producer collaboration of all time, no other collaboration even comes close...that's how i've always viewed it and will continue to do so....
2 - which was part of him being the perfectionist he was. This is something he applied to all his work - both before and after Q. Of course MJ was "already famous". He was famous as a child. And, you can promote something to the hilt, but if people don’t like it enough, it won't sell as much. Promotion doesn’t guarantee specific sales. Yes, they DID produce classic hits! *Dangerous: Black or White, (which also went to #1 in MANY countries) - Heal the World, Remember the Time, are another two.
interesting that with Q being interviewed , he is always asked about MJ but MJ wasnt always asked about Q.I think there is a little competitiveness there. And MJ did have lupus, vitalago, and I believe he did have a lung problem according to the autopsy..Maybe Q shouldnt have been so quick to judge.I think he was disappointed when MJ moved on.Then again , maybe he moved on because he felt Q was too critical of him personally.Never hear MJ say anything bad about anybody really
MJ was too nice a person to say somthing negative about others even if its true... MJ 's only thing was hi inability to see and acknowledge other people's darkness.... MJ was a kind soul ....
Michael had a special relationship with his fans unlike any entertainer who's ever lived. He really loved his fans. We grew up with him and love him in a way that may be considered "unhealthy." lol, even I can admit that. But, when you grow up with someone, & it feels like theyre part of your family, & they touch your heart in the deepest way possible with their vulnerability, then that person becomes ostracized by the media & public, it makes us even more adamant in our love & defense of him.
@cpope3391 Alot of people think his music went downhill after Bad, but I think he just took more control of his music and grew. He became more eclectic. The downside to that for me is that post Bad the albums had a mixed feel with the sound where as before that there was a running theme with the sound running through. Thats what I think anyway.
There is some truth here. Michael DID want to look different. He said so himself - he didn’t want to look like his father. His father told him he was ugly and had a big nose. He DID alter his appearance but not because he didn’t want to appear black but because his dad made him hate his appearance.
To look different artistically, creatively, image, branding, in style & presentation. Sure his father gave him a complex, but he definitely had vitiligo & skin color was a major factor in his changing appearance
@@oemisc2880 yes but the plastic surgery happened because he genuinely thought he was ugly in his teens. He really did. It affected him a great deal. Made him shy. He wouldn’t let Oprah broadcast photos of him as a teen and he dictated that the reissues of “Off The Wall” only show his legs, socks and shoes instead of the original with his whole body including his face. He didn’t like what he saw - so he changed it.
@@Elena-er7zp He had terrible acne, then having people disappointed when expecting a cute little kid but greeted by a lanky pimply teenager. That really affected him. I think it was mostly his nose & some was reconstructive surgery due to his lupus as one Dr said, & then maybe botox when he got older
Thumbs down for you mr Quincy Jones !! You may be a great producer but i not a great human being i guess Cause by now the whole world knows the truth about Michael Jackson , not thanks to you unfortunately
1. NO! ultimately MJ produced that sound - with his MIND & MOUTH; Just as with his backdrop/base for Billy Jean! The way MJ wanted something to sound was always in his head and he would normally beat-box, etc. to guide those whose help he needed on the technical /sound engineering end. Thriller was supposed to be finished, and Q certainly wasn’t complaining; however, MJ cried with frustration and refused to release it. They went back into the studio until it was finished to HIS satisfaction -
That's not true at all. You must not have seen interviews with all the other musicians, engineers and songwriters for that record, that have all acknowledged Q's MAJOR contribution. I'm one of the biggest MJ fans and I'm old enough to have experienced it first hand, but aside from a few tracks on Dangerous, Michael never came close, before or after, at recreating the quality of those three records he made with Quincy Jones.
PS it was literally Quincy who replaced the 4 weakest songs and replaced them with Beat It, Human Nature, PYT and The Lady In My Life. All but one not written by MJ, one written by Q himself, one Q asked to have from Steve Porcaro, and one from Rod Temperton who was only working with Michael, because of Q!
@@Oioisavaloy Excuse me but “never came close” is relative to your ears. Imho Dangerous & History are just as great, if not arguably even better than Thriller. & Bad album was mostly complete before Q was even involved
@@Oioisavaloy You forget Q didn’t even like Billie Jean included in Thriller album, but MJ fought to keep it. & PYT was written by James Ingram, not Q. Also it’s true that the 1st cut of the album was substandard, bringing MJ to tears, so MJ refused to release it until they remixed every song to His liking
@@oemisc2880 so you obviously don't know what you're talking about. James Ingram wrote the lyric, but the music (the thing that people groove to) was written by Jones. That's fine 👍 if you're opinion you think those records are better, I guarantee you're in the small minority. Also however subjective you want it to seem, there's a reason the three albums I mentioned are held in such high regard by actual musicians. I never said he never wrote a good song, Bad is one of my favourite ever records and he wrote 9 of 11. But have a listen to the demos or unreleased tracks that never made the cut and honestly tell me that they're up to par? If it was up to MJ there would be a song on Bad called "Abortion Papers"! Doesn't quite fit with the rest of the record does it?
great points onejagjeff, people really don't know, or care to know what QUINCY was all about...he was a humanitarion thru his love for music and common good, he brought the best out of MICHAEL as well as MICHAEL bringing the best out of him....QUINCY is the greatest producer in the history of the recording industry...period...his spirit is humble, and I've really never seen QUINCY upset for no justifiable reason...it's sad all these lies have been put out there for the world to believe in
He's just bitter because he couldn't milk Michael his billions, he never did chemical peeling, it's very disrespecful talking like that abt his deceased friend.
working with Michael was the highlight of quincys carrear nobody would pay him for an interview if it wasn't to talk about Michael ill always love quincy jones but hes coming off really bitter in this interview
Bit it's not even true. MJ had vitiligo as shown in his autopsy. And chemical peels help acne scars, aging, and even the tone. Nothing word about them at all esp for celebscelebrities. Blacks like how they hep with "dark marks" like from scarring from acne. It just brings the more vital layers of skin to the surface and sloughs off old dead skin cells and helps the new cells regenerate more quickly like when we were young.
Quincey Jones did a lot of talking but didn’t really Say anything. You can tell he had some feelings about Michael not wanting to work with him anymore. But basically- Nothing.
The Saint I'm guessing the reason he said MJ's biggest mistake was working with Teddy Riley, is that he's saying Quincy wouldn't be hating on the man so hard right now. I'm a big MJ fan by the way.
The Saint your insane . Thriller n Bad were extremely phenomenal records . Dangerous, HIStory and BOLDF is amazing but are not on the same caliber as his previous ones . invincible is also a great addition too
@ mrsnet, quincy Jones is a legendary producer in his own right. He has produced some of the best jazz pieces of all time. He will go down in history as a great composer. There is no need to downplay his achievements to the music world in order to make a point about Michael.
I really believe that Q loved MJ but I do feel that there is something in Q that was hurt by MJ when he decided not to work with him again after the Bad project. I have alot of respect for Q but I think there is still some resentment there.
you're right wiltord, I've watch this thing detiorate since the 1987, 22 years...and it has hurt to watch MICHAEL self destruct but see, the newer fanbase really don't understand what has taken place because it's unlike anything we've ever witness, this situation can't be viewed w/in the past 5 years, it stretches 22 years, and if MIKE would have accepted who he was meant to be, his career would have thrived just like it did in the beginning and he would still be living today....period..
His career will always be remembered because he was a genius and his songs are amazing. No one should give a s* about his physical appearence, when there are the Kardashians out there that altered every inch of their bodies and try to be black.
@drfunk1986 excellent point, no question, QUINCY is the greatest producer in the history of the music business, what MIKE'S young fans don't know and don't care to know because of hatred is that Q's been produced, and ARRANGING music since the 1950's, before the jackson five were even born, before many of today's artists even thought about making music, I had no problems MIKE working w/someone different for DANGEROUS, but Q understood MIKE'S talent more than anyone he's worked with...PERIOD
Quincy Jones was to Michael Jackson what George Martin was to the Beatles. The minute Michael went for Teddy Riley and made "Dangerous" was when everything went downhill. With Quincy producing his albums he just got better and better. Classic Michael was all under the production of Quincy, period. He should have never left him.

I had forgot there was a Quincy Jones until this video, but I have never forgot Michael Jackson, because he is UNFORGETTABLE.

What Quincy is trying to say here is, he watched Michael change before his eyes and couldn't stop him. Couldn't stop the plastic surgeries. Losst touch with him as a friend. And I saw Janet on Oprah.

Rap started way earlier than what he claiming.
Strick said:
DR.
I think he was trying to look like a normal guy as best as that he could.”
MJ's Lupus caused scar tissue and obstruction. Here's what an article said about how vitiligo affects a person's body, which does include the nose:
What are the symptoms vitiligo?

I have no idea why Quincy FREAKIN BETRAYED MICHAEL and all Michael had ever to do him is just being kind and friendly
Quincy should just shut up. He didn't want Billie Jean, or Bad Michael went ahead nervertheless. And we saw that
If you actually look at Michaels face through out the years he face didn't really change.

He is upset because Michael worked with another producer for Dangerous Album. Ever since he has been against Michael. He holds a grudge.
Quincy doesn't directly answer any of the questions and instead just shows he's become a bitter old man.

Quincy was the producer , but the writers of his biggest were Rod Temperton (amongst others) and Michael himself.
*Dangerous: Black or White, (which also went to #1 in MANY countries) - Heal the World, Remember the Time, are another two.
wtf Quincy ... my respect for you has gone down a notch after implying that MJ's lying.
interesting that with Q being interviewed , he is always asked about MJ but MJ wasnt always asked about Q.I think there is a little competitiveness there.
But, when you grow up with someone, & it feels like theyre part of your family, & they touch your heart in the deepest way possible with their vulnerability, then that person becomes ostracized by the media & public, it makes us even more adamant in our love & defense of him.
he sounds like he's jealous.
I am disgust he talked about MJ in that way
Me to vile man Quincy
You may be a great producer but i not a great human being i guess
Cause by now the whole world knows the truth about Michael Jackson ,
not thanks to you unfortunately
Quincy how dare you back stab Micheal...am shocked
1. NO! ultimately MJ produced that sound - with his MIND & MOUTH; Just as with his backdrop/base for Billy Jean!
Doesn't quite fit with the rest of the record does it?
great points onejagjeff, people really don't know, or care to know what QUINCY was all about...he was a humanitarion thru his love for music and common good, he brought the best out of MICHAEL as well as MICHAEL bringing the best out of him....QUINCY is the greatest producer in the history of the recording industry...period...his spirit is humble, and I've really never seen QUINCY upset for no justifiable reason...it's sad all these lies have been put out there for the world to believe in
Rap started in the 70's enough said!
QJ has never forgiven MJ for passing him over as producer for the Dangerous Album.
MJ had vitiligo, it’s even on the coroners report, he also had discoid lupus. This is why he had chemical peels.
Quincy Jones kept it real I see nothing wrong with what he said
He's just bitter because he couldn't milk Michael his billions, he never did chemical peeling, it's very disrespecful talking like that abt his deceased friend.
working with Michael was the highlight of quincys carrear nobody would pay him for an interview if it wasn't to talk about Michael ill always love quincy jones but hes coming off really bitter in this interview
Quincy is the man, Michael and him were the perfect team!
it’s ok guys, I’ll say it for you
QUINCY NEEDS TO STOP LYING
The way he talks it don't seem like he knew Michael at all ...
@4ha6 I cant believe what I'm seeing and hearing as well. I thought Quincy admired&looked after Michael.?! What The Hell Quincy?
Shame on you Q. Jones... You probably wouldn't be as big as you are now if it wasn't for Michael...
I know he's got a lot of checking up to do before he checks out.
This Ignorant man. I can’t with this. RIP MJ. 🕊
phew bitterness
Nice to finally see someone be honest about mike. All i ever hear about is how great he was..never any of his flaws.
Katie Couric is insufferable.
Larry Sizemore how so
Quincey Jones did a lot of talking but didn’t really Say anything. You can tell he had some feelings about Michael not wanting to work with him anymore. But basically- Nothing.
Sorry but I don’t Quincy Jones he’s bad mouthed mj over last couple of years
Quincy didnt even say anything outta pocket in this vid.. dont know why people freaking out so much
Michael Jackson's biggest mistake was working with Teddy Riley.
Q. Jones made no difference in hip-hop. The hip-hop he tried to do was weak. It was very 🌽 y with no substantial meaning. Back on the block was 🌽 y.
@dyhard678
is your caps key sticking by any chance?
Quincy telling the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts people
I really believe that Q loved MJ but I do feel that there is something in Q that was hurt by MJ when he decided not to work with him again after the Bad project.
