I think you would really dig spin tires mudrunner or snow runner and I believe it's in a few platforms now. Or take it old school my my fave growing up, Street Rods 1 or 2
Fellow Canadian here from Toronto. Love your work & commentary. Great sense of humor too. Do more 1/18's. Maybe a General Lee with painted flag & numbers etc, instead of decals. Or update the look. I like when you use the JB weld to modify 2 cars into one custom. Keep the videos coming, this is my favorite channel.

Jeff Fletcher it is Modeled after a real design the Volkswagen beetle engines or air cooled and when you pop up the hood like that you use hinges so you have gaps all around the engine cover hood or whatever you wanna call it and so that basically just let it suck Air in like a lot more air than if it was down t

I know, I always think that's a shame but they have to do that for fitting Porsche engines. It bums me out too.
@@MatthewOfLondon I'll admit I'm not a fan of vw beetles. But I love the paint on this one. So deep you could dive in. Would love to see that paint on a 32-33 hot rod. Or as two tone on a 50's Caddie.
The popped out engine cover is part of the “Cal-look” styling that goes along with other styling modifications like bumper mods and stance modifications.

bro this is one if the sickest paint jobs. i love it. i wouldnt say you failed on the plate just alter it with a custom black insert. it will fit right in.

I have mentioned I don't care much for the glitter paint jobs because it's always that rainbow affect. but this finnish just changed my mind. It's like ghost flames, only appears when light hits it just right and it's one color. So very cool, I love it 👌

They move the hinges on those bugs to let more cooling in for hot climate areas. It’s a California thing.

That was fun. I collect 1/18s so I appreciate the more real look in the bigger scales. I always cut off the mounting post on the headlight lens. It's a big plus.

Was about the same effect. His car is red tho' in direct sunlight.
