Awesome, I discovered Calvary a few days ago and I'm enjoying it, it has really good features (already in the free version), thanks for the tutorial and for bringing us this amazing software
to animate: add a path finder behaviour into falloff 1's position. Add a bigger circle into your scene and use this as pathfinder's input shape. add osc to new circle's position and add osc into pathfinder's travel.
I did every step you did buy when it comes to setting final oscillator's stagger is 5 part, nothing changed. Shape just rotated by 5°. Not like circular abstract Shape. How? :(
Hello, I searched everywhere but without any success. Whenever I create a new shape, I don't see the "shape type" menu for radius/semicircle etc. Instead I have only 'Onion Skinning' option. Any idead how to activate it? Thank you! My version of Cavalry is 1.5.6.
You can but you'll likely find file sizes will creep up. Lottie doesn't have a way to 'instance' like this so each frame needs to be baked to work around that (why the file sizes climb).

Truly brilliant and consistently amazed at the possible outcome thanks.
Thank you, Alex. This was brilliant! Any tutorials welcome! :)

Have been looking for part two as mentioned in the tutorial, and I still hopeful for more generative, abstract artwork
Linked in the description above and also appears as a link at the end of this video.
Stunning! please give us many tips and tricks thanks!
On a mac the expression x-1 is *-1 (use an asterisk)

aww!
Ohh man, you need extremely in depth knowledge to do this😅 I’m at baby level now. Still playing with text oscillation and staggers

Under the Shape menu, make sure 'Create Editable Shapes' is unchecked.
Please support for foreign language within Cavalry so we can finally do a complete switch from AE :)
Can you export this kind of animation in lottie?

@@cavalryapp Thank you for your response!
For me the "add expression" is greyed out. How do I turn this on?
