This is great Alex and exactly what Cavalry needs right now. Lots of tips and tricks in here that are really helpful. Loving that Fit to View option and the Axis thingy you made. Is that last one something that will come standard one day, if not I feel like it should. Thanks for making these!
Thanks Mario! Trying to fill in a lot of blanks in a short amount of time at the moment 😅 Not sure what's to come but I'm sure there's plenty of improvements still ahead.
This is sooo good and helpful! Just educating my self on 3d in other apps but 2.5d in Cavalry is looking great amazing! Some of your crew has a background in Maya. I know Cavalry came up to be a 2d animation tool, but if it is not a secret, are there any plans for a real, native 3d environment and renderer down the track? Thanks for this tutorial, appreciated.
Such great tips! I used the 2.5D camera in the main scene of my prime numbers video (th-cam.com/video/JNdfQOxp3BU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=W5uK00SgKx_Rf8Bw) but now I realize it was a much bigger pain to animate than it could have been :) we live, we learn, thanks Alex!
Thanks Alex, that was awesome. Keen to see more!
No problem! There's probably no end to tutorial possibilities with Cavalry 😅
Thank you for this. Very useful tips Alex

Glad this was helpful. I couldn't say, I think the focus is mostly on 2D though.
@@alexamormedia Thanks Alex.
