Lebrun Jemz No street going car comes close to this friend. No even barely close. Koenigsegg cars are very impressive, but the capability of them compared to this isn't even on the same ball park. These monsters are capable of running a quarter mile (.4 of a kilometer) in just under 4 seconds and accelerating up into the range of 340 mph in the same distance. 0 to 100 (160 km) mph in .25 of a second. By the time the rear of the car passes the tree it's moving over 120 mph. These are crazy machines.

My first time seeing top fuel was at this strip two years ago. It was the most intense motorsport experience of my entire life, I was sitting on the east stands at the line. My eyes balls vibrated to the point of loosing clear vision for a split second when they took off, absolutely unreal amount of power.

These machines are truly awesome, and the nuts that drive them are crazy! I got a chance to witness my first nhra race in April of this year at the Charlotte, North Carolina 4-wide nationals. Jesus Christ, you are talking about some serious thunder when those boys and girls launch off the line.
There's nothing like the feeling of being close to one of these Top fuel rigs when they take off. You can feel the sound waves, I love it!

No that 100% I'd the is the car doing the shaking. During the burnout they have the car turned way down so it's not even close to as loud as it is at launch. During the launch it is so unbelievably loud that the pressure waves coming off of it make it so you can't take a breath for a second or two as it passes. It's difficult to explain how insane these are. You need to experience it in person. Search "acoustic power of Top fuel" on youtube to sort of get the idea.

top fuel goes just over 300 at bandimere but i dont think this dragster is part of a highly funded nhra team so they may be running a lower nitro to alcohol ratio to conserve parts as long as possible

+Brandon Goins they drill holes and press metal into it in the rod caps and in the side of the piston basically to make them unusable and sell them to fans when I go see these things they let every one watch them rebuild it and sell them shirts and rods and pistons for like 10 bucks
they will just give you the old parts if you want, without drilling extra holes. I have a bunch of parts from Top fuel like rods, pistons, head gaskets, blower belts, cylinder sleeves, spark plugs, burst plates...
