My Mama died this week...aside from playing duets with her for 55 years, she could play her favorite song, Laura's Theme, on the piano. This song will always bring tears to my eyes, especially when performed by André Rieu.

This Lara's Theme was the favorite tune of my best friend Lara. She died suddenly, unexpectedly 6 years ago to the day. Whenever I listen to this music I can't help crying. This arrangement is perfect and powerful.

I am writing in a different perspective-------I spent my childhood in the same place where the ACADEMY AWARD ACTRESS Julie Christie who acted in this film (Dr Zivago) was born and brought up(CHABUA, in upper-Assam, India).
Chabua was the place where Julie Christie was born in 1940 in British India when India was under British Rule at that time.
I had also spent my childhood at Chabua for a few years. I love this place very much. This place is also known as the tea city of Assam.
It was very beautiful
