      Considering this is a 2008 vehicle repo'd by a bank in 2022, the likely hood is the previous owner was probably having some rough times, they probably had kids, and knowing how it is for parents that are poor or struggling, they tend to stop caring about stuff like this in favor of "do I have enough money for food?" the amount of fast food items in the vehicle also suggests this, as on a lot of people who are struggling, it's much easier to buy a bunch of cheap fast food, rather than spending the effort of buying and cooking their own.

    I just recently started my mini detailing buisness and I have had some pretty tough cars myself. I wanted to ask You, what’s the best way to deal with interior scratches on the door plastic? I can’t seem to be able to remove them anyhow, only make them a little less visible. Aslo, how stiff is the brush you’re using on the seats? I always thought you can damage the seats with those. And thank You for your videos! You’re an insperation :)

    • @allnighter2949

    • @stealthg35infiniti94
      @stealthg35infiniti94 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Plastic is very tricky. Sometimes is best just to clean it with a soft toothbrush with soap and water, then rinse. Follow it up with 303 Protectant. With smooth plastic, I'll try some PlastiX on small scratches. Be careful as some plastics are painted thus you might make it worse than it was.

    Believe it or not, I watch your videos at the end of my workday to relax. I love your channel! I saw the video of the Dodge van with the "used" tampon and while I agree that on the surface, it may be a truly used one in the most honest sense, if any viewers are familiar with simple first aid, tampons can be used for nosebleeds (most commonly) and other emergency uses when treating injuries in the field - most obviously to plug bleeding holes. I'm simply a lifeguard, but in our training, the instructors experience in sharing real life stories, and using what you have available (if not in a place that has access to traditional first aid supplies) goes a long way in showing alternative uses for items not normally used in the traditional way you would assume.

      It's an emergency wheel and is only designed to bring you to the next car mechanic in case of a roadside accident. I think they're made to go 100km or so

      @ I know, it just seems weirdly small even for a spare.

      We call it the little donut tire lol. And yes they are a temporary fix until you fix the regular tire. They are not meant to be on the vehicle for very long, 80-100 kilometres.

    I worked with a guy that owned a detail business and I use to help him. He was able to paint/dye fabric that had bleach or stains to restore the carpet. It was an interesting process he used. It didnt always match but sometimes it was better then it looked before if it was a bright white bleach spot.

    Used 303 on the black plastic of my rear bumper last weekend, gotta say, I'm sold. looks that much better now. I think next is upping my tire dressing game, then it's minty. Felt so good to get my baby all cleaned up from winter, yes I washed it a few times, but couldn't go in the same detail.
