People are nasty. I work 80 hours a week. It litterly takes me like 20 min to run my car through a car wash cost $7 then vacuum it which is free. Even once a month. I could work 120 hours a week and still clean my car once a month.

I just want you to know, I have been watching your videos for about 2 months. Feeling inspired, I went and bought liquids and supplies for detailing my car. I spent about 4 hours detailing, washing and cleaning my car. My car inside and out is so clean and it feels GREAT!
Having complex OCD and anxiety, I find these videos very soothing. It helps to watch you follow the same routines for cleaning when the vehicle seems overwhelming to deal with. It helps to incorporate similar steps to solve whatever problems life throws at you and not just overreact and overthink to the point where nothing gets accomplished. Thanks for all that you do and not being judgy towards the vehicle owners!
I have a lesser version of OCD but I agree completely with you it does help to have a routine to stuff like this and not overthink and he really deserves a metal for being a really nice person
I am always blown away by the amount of times I look at disaster details and think “There’s no way to get that clean” and Mitch manages to do just that every time
I'm honestly really happy you're not shaming the people who own these cars. Sometimes if not all the time it's really embarrassing for people to get their cars detailed especially if they get this bad. When I got my car I kept it immaculate but then I went through a serious bought of depression for 3-4 months and my car got disgusting and it was shameful I felt so bad giving people rides in my car. I was able to finally clean and detail my car myself. Please be aware that you don't know what these people are going through and how they're living. More than likely they know their car is disgusting. There's no need to shame them they already feel ashamed.
I agree with you about some cases where people are going through a difficult time with their mental health, but I know people who has cars like this and they aren't depressed or anything. They are just dirty. Their houses look exactly the same.

First time i find this channel. This guy is a businesman. Not only does he clean cars well, he uploads it to youtube where he can get money from ads and he plugs the tools he uses which he also sells. Now that is an entrepenour!

I'm surprised you haven't fabricated a 45° rack (think: slantboard) on which to pressure wash the dirty mats so all the filthy wash water drains off immediately rather than requiring numerous passes with the wand. To hold the mat to the rack there would be a large spring-loaded clip at the top similar to clamp/clips sold in office supply stores for clipping together a stack of papers. It would also have a slanted catch pan under it to funnel the water and dirt into whatever catchment/drain system you choose. This would also keep your shop floor much cleaner as you are working.
Good luck on your business. I enjoy the detailing too, however since I already have a full time job, I do it only as a hobby, (family and friends), and don’t make money off it. I have no desire to turn my hobby into a business. That being said, I have learned a lot from watching DG, and he has definitely helped me step up my game.

Once you allow it to get a fair bit dirty then you stop caring, especially when your car is used only as a tool. Add a bit of 0 fucks given to that and you get those results.

That, or there was no other detailer because the other detailer refused to clean that biohazard. That is absolutely disgusting! I have never allowed any of my vehicles to get that bad. I have a strong stomach and that made me gag. I'm just glad that he was able to get it looking good and smelling good again.
You mentioned detailing every inch of a car but, I haven’t seen or heard you mention the headliner. Just wondering because that would be rather back breaking to me. Which leads me to thinking this car will never be rid of the stench without the headliner being cleaned (as thoroughly, if at all, as the rest of the car). Amazing transformation!! 🏆

Wow - the end result looks awesome! I have it's cousin, a 2005 Kia Sportage and while maintain my car relatively clean, it makes me want to drive up there so you can give it the spa treatment that it deserves after 16 years of service.
This is definitely one of my favorites. Whatever the reason for the car's condition, I'm glad it ends up here so I can watch it get a 2nd chance to be new. The dirtier the better!

When I see people's cars in this condition, all I see is discouragement. There's a weird sort of 'giving up' that seems to take place and it eventually just gets overwhelming, I think.
My car is that bad....not with trash...just...stuff..... I have anxiety and have to be prepared for every imaginable disaster.... I could live for a couple months out of my car comfortably with everything I have in it..... And unfortunately no one else can ride in it without me rearranging stuff
Yeah, that happens a lot with stuff like depression and severe anxiety. Car detailers provide an invaluable service in that way! Paying someone else to deal with the overwhelming task is much better than just running around in a dirty car.

This is why I have a rule for my cars... ALL trash is removed immediately when I get home. I won't leave so much as a candy wrapper in my car. My mom always has so much crap in her car and my dad and I HATE it! Growing up, I would clean the crap out of her car myself because I couldn't stand it! To this day, my dad won't drive her vehicle because it makes him CRAZY! 🤣 I definitely got my dad's cleanliness and NO CLUTTER gene. LMAO

I wonder if he’s ever gone back to look at the footage and realized he missed a spot and is like “Crap!” But probably not because he is always so thorough with his detailing. My mother used to have a van and raised 3 of us by ourselves when we were younger. My mother would never to this present day leave her car that messy. Just shocking how someone can neglect there car like this. I commend u though for having the courage to clean something this disgusting.

Watching you detail these cars is very calming for my ocd.... Well after I've had a full blown anxiety attack at seeing them before you start! Lol how many blinking bottles did you find in this car? How much money have these wasted on bottles? 😱 The people who own that car really must know the truth definition of going nose blind because I could smell that thing from here in the UK! I get that people may be embarrassed or whatever but coming from someone who physically can't walk half the time let alone clean my car I always make sure to have it fully valeted at least once a year, there is no excuse to let it get this bad other then purely burying your head in the sand. I have a 2019 Hyundai Tucson and I get anxious when it gets even a little bit dirty. LOL! I drove over a snowy pass last week and the grime and road dirt was so bad, I took it to a drive through car wash to get the grime off. I enjoy detailing my cars anyway. cleaning the under carriage is important. Leaving dirt and grime could cause corrosion, lead to holes, etc. Important parts down there =)
If car is from area where winter snow salt and sand if don’t do undercarriage car will rust a hole in it
If a mechanic has to do something down under there it's better to work with too, since they aren't touching god doesn't even know what

I'm surprised you haven't fabricated a 45° rack (think: slantboard) on which to pressure wash the dirty mats so all the filthy wash water drains off immediately rather than requiring numerous passes with the wand. To hold the mat to the rack there would be a large spring-loaded clip at the top similar to clamp/clips sold in office supply stores for clipping together a stack of papers. It would also have a slanted catch pan under it to funnel the water and dirt into whatever catchment/drain system you choose. This would also keep your shop floor much cleaner as you are working.

Good luck on your business. I enjoy the detailing too, however since I already have a full time job, I do it only as a hobby, (family and friends), and don’t make money off it. I have no desire to turn my hobby into a business.

Once you allow it to get a fair bit dirty then you stop caring, especially when your car is used only as a tool. Add a bit of 0 fucks given to that and you get those results.

You mentioned detailing every inch of a car but, I haven’t seen or heard you mention the headliner. Just wondering because that would be rather back breaking to me. Which leads me to thinking this car will never be rid of the stench without the headliner being cleaned (as thoroughly, if at all, as the rest of the car).

I have it's cousin, a 2005 Kia Sportage and while maintain my car relatively clean, it makes me want to drive up there so you can give it the spa treatment that it deserves after 16 years of service.

When I see people's cars in this condition, all I see is discouragement. There's a weird sort of 'giving up' that seems to take place and it eventually just gets overwhelming, I think.
My car is that bad....not with trash...just...stuff..... I have anxiety and have to be prepared for every imaginable disaster.... I could live for a couple months out of my car comfortably with everything I have in it..... And unfortunately no one else can ride in it without me rearranging stuff
But I do go every month and vacuum it out and rearrange all my stuff neatly lol
Yeah, that happens a lot with stuff like depression and severe anxiety. Car detailers provide an invaluable service in that way! Paying someone else to deal with the overwhelming task is much better than just running around in a dirty car.

This is why I have a rule for my cars... ALL trash is removed immediately when I get home. I won't leave so much as a candy wrapper in my car. My mom always has so much crap in her car and my dad and I HATE it! Growing up, I would clean the crap out of her car myself because I couldn't stand it! To this day, my dad won't drive her vehicle because it makes him CRAZY! 🤣 I definitely got my dad's cleanliness and NO CLUTTER gene. LMAO

I am the same exact way. I hate trash in my car and I vacuum it whenever it starts to look like it needs it. I enjoy driving a clean car and I am not embarrassed when someone else is with me in the car.

My mother used to have a van and raised 3 of us by ourselves when we were younger. My mother would never to this present day leave her car that messy. Just shocking how someone can neglect there car like this. I commend u though for having the courage to clean something this disgusting.

Plenty of discourse here on the backstory to such a filthy vehicle, but I just want to say how inspired I feel by how you've harnessed your talents and capacity for hard work to nurture others. @@abirose4875 okay I will!! I have a killer coffee stain that I’ve tried to get out like 4 times before with just a drill brush and lightning fast, but hopefully the extractor will get the job done!
I have a smaller ‘spot clean’ model of the Bissell used, but it does a good job & seeing the dirty water at the end is both gross & satisfying!

Watching you detail these cars is very calming for my ocd.... Well after I've had a full blown anxiety attack at seeing them before you start! Lol how many blinking bottles did you find in this car? How much money have these wasted on bottles? 😱 The people who own that car really must know the truth definition of going nose blind because I could smell that thing from here in the UK! I get that people may be embarrassed or whatever but coming from someone who physically can't walk half the time let alone clean my car I always make sure to have it fully valeted at least once a year, there is no excuse to let it get this bad other then purely burying your head in the sand. I really hope these people can make a big change and keep on top of the car better after this clean up. Great job as usual x

I have a 2019 Hyundai Tucson and I get anxious when it gets even a little bit dirty. LOL! I drove over a snowy pass last week and the grime and road dirt was so bad, I took it to a drive through car wash to get the grime off. I enjoy detailing my cars anyway. Your videos motivate me to always keep my cars in excellent condition! Thank you!
