Denis Noble is the first person I've ever seen that has the weirdest haircut while in the room with Boris Johnson.

He was surely the inspiration for the Paul Whitehouse surgeon:

If 'scaling the mountain by one face' involves trampling over the poor, while the other route involves taxing the mega rich, I'd say that in reality different moral values were employed. Anyway, with half the mega rich up in ithe sky at any given moment and the inevitable pollution falling on Earth, with none of the quality of mercy, the one thing we don't need is another runway.

This is a complaint but I'm sticking with it. At present there is no permanent commemorative statue on the the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square, London. Originally it was occupied by the eminent scientist and physician Dr Edward Jenner, rightly known as "The father of Immunology". This monument was temporily removed for The Great Exhibition of 1851. It IS still not back. It OUGHT to be!

And, if anyone is listening - even more so today, in 2020. Agreed.

We've all been ground down by the force of circumstances and have to accomodate each other so that life can go on. It's the evolutionary lesson that teaches us the 'ought' we should derive from the is. Everything else is unethical because it's a disconnect from living.

Boris Johnson was very effective campaigning to win the general election in that he made use of that principal mentioned here of a popular common end point in his rhetoric. Apart from, as well as including, the skewing factor of 'getting Brexit done' in 2019, he also enthused about the prospects of providing a 'fantastic' range of public services, of building hospitals. of levelling up and many things that would, and did entice the non-tory voter.
A feature of this particular interview is that Denis Noble was about to say more about ethics and principles but Boris Johnson interrupted him each time.
    This was also prophetic .
