Put up captures of your klon and I’ll be your most loyal vortex cloud subscriber lol. I know I know, several people have already done it, but I want TYLER’s magic klon
Have one. All I wanted was a small-ish unit that could hold captures, similar to the Tonex. Like having both of them for options. This plus a Fractal VP4 or HX Effects - all is good.
The newest Headrush Prime and Headrush Flex can capture amps, cabs, and pedals REALLY well, and cost much less the neural. And they have a bunch of effects
The main reason I want one is for the capture. I had a long modeler talk with Porter Howell awhile back. He pretty much convinced me that I wanted a Neural, I just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
I just acquired a Revv Generator 120 MKIII with Revv’s amazing Baltic Birch cab loaded with four Celestine Greenbacks. My face now has a permanent smile. Why am I saying this on a video about a Neural DSP? If I were 20 years old again, I wouldn’t have been able to afford my amazing rig, and I’d likely go for one of the digital modelers. But as an old dude, this Gen-X guitar devotee has never been happier with his guitars or his gear. Bottom line: Get the best tone you can currently afford and keep playing!
@Tyler add a Morningstar Mc6 to the Nano Cortex & next time at the ‘Club’ you’ll open up the Nano’s versatility ’live’ exponentially… you can thank me next time you drop in to the ‘live chat’ on our That Pedal Show ‘livestream’ on a Monday ! …. best BV 😀🎸🐾…. & there’s another video topic for you …. you’re welcome 😎😀
I wanted to like this thing but I shipped it back to Sweetwater. I could not get rid of the inherent cold hard brittle unforgiving feel that was present on every preset and capture I tried. Maybe I got a bad unit? I’ll stick with my plugins.
Love mine. Day 1 unit needed the Bluetooth repaired, but shit happens, and Neural DSP’s support team has been fantastic. It makes it SUPER easy to have a ton of awesome varied tones I can throw in a backpack and head out to jam with friends with almost no effort. I *LOVE* this thing! Bonus points - I can run it off of a 20k mAh battery via USB-C cable for hours. On average a 3 hour jam uses about 15% of that battery capacity.
Hi a question, if I don't need to capture anything but just use existing profiles and modify them needing only a few of sounds. Is this solution better or another? and what do you think of the pitch shifter from the point of view of live or rehearsal room use? comparable to its big brother?
It depends on the deal. A lot of them have to send it back. He will probably send this back. but i imagine positive grid probably let him keep the spark amps they gave him because they weren’t too expensive
No one missed anything, if you have plenty of gear that makes you want capture them then you're not the kind of customer who's trying to save a few box for the device that does just that, you would save a bit to get quad cortex (even second hand) and have all the versatility of it. The paradox is that quad cortex is way more plug and play for live situations than the nano is.
@@AX100G I've seen someone else mention that. However, I don't think the part starting at 3:34 is "Fix You", at least not in any version I've heard so far. Tyler goes from that intro to "Fix You" solo at 3:53.
The more I see everyone love this thing the more I think I got a faulty one. I returned mine within 48 hours because despite all the cloud captures on TH-camrs presets it just sounded shite compared to a comparable product, kemper, line 6 etc.
You can dial in tones really well using some of the features in the tone studio, so I think having bad sounds might be a user error. It may not sound as good as a few $1000 pedals or a tube amp, but the price for such a versatile tool is insane
@radicalagnostic The tones will be great. I've played the big QC and Kemper Stage side by side, Stage won because of the Performance Mode. But with the Nano it's just too Nano, only two footswitches, etc, very limited and I think Kemper FX are just better..
Nice tones. Don’t hear “Flying in a Blue Dream” too often. Love it
That was a formative album for me, as an oldguy guitarist.
The "fix you" part was incredible. I also love that melody.

Flying in a Blue Dream! My favorite Satch track! One of the greatest examples of Lydian ever.
Thank you for this Tyler: great video, playing and always appreciate your perspective.

FiaBD! I grew up copping Satriani licks, I felt that one, enjoyed your embellishments.
Man! Playing those Satch licks, you need the JS amp vault on Tonex🎉

luminate fx m2, midi switch with a touchscreen display and set list function for 230 euro, that things pairs amazing
Leading off with some Satch! 🤘🏼
Love the old school Satch
Nice take on Flying in a Blue Dream
those are some clean sounds..I mean so clean..
Tyler, don't you have an ultra limited edition Ibanez JS? Use that guitar if you're going to attempt to play FIABD.
Nice satch song. Reminds me of a skydiving video I watched one with his songs on it.
Do you need the amp to capture a pedal? Wouldn't that just give you how that pedal sounds through that amp/speaker cab as opposed to just the pedal?
I don't think you need an amp to capture a pedal
No, you can capture a stand-alone pedal.
Great video Tyler. Where can I download those presets. Don't see you on the App.
thanks
Dave

flying in a blue dream - love it
Totally awesome dude!
Are PRS guitars heavy compared to the average Gibson equivalent?
No - PRS's tend to be lighter unless you get a chambered guitar.

You gotta make the captures available for the cloud. Currently they are not apparently. Thanks!

When did he get a scar on his head??
Dude, on a side note, what brand of T-shirt are you wearing?
“Tone is in the T-shirt”
Followed my man!
Zero latency? No. It’s there… it’s always there. Trust me.
HEY MY COUSIN JUST STARTED WORKING FOR THEM 0:13
Huh?
sure hope my local dive bar has a soundboard otherwise Im F'ked
Talk about tones! Alex Lifeson's Signature Amp Series by TONEX is 100% Epic!
5:30 HEY!
Neural: Help us Tyler, our product is struggling.
Tyler: I will try to fix you
Amazing pedal an playing wow 👌
Not seeing tylerarson on the cloud.

Cold play - Fix you

@@J_Vermillionlook up about 2:06 in the actual song. He is playing the vocal melody before the guitar kicks riff kicks in.
I`am your first follower 😄🤘
For a second I thought this was Rhett Shill’s channel.
😮
No, Tyler actually has a personality and isn’t riding off of Rick Beato’s coattails
Actually taking shots at Rhett. Wild. Get one of them lifes people talk about.

This dude talks like a peanut butter milkshake… kinda unique, but super plain at the same time.
Think its mostly people were expecting some huge announcement with a big new product, while this is a more niche product with limited features.
I'm pretty sure that the Boss Katana does pretty much everything the same (including importing sounds) for half the price.
Yeah but the katana sounds like a dog fucking a tennis ball compared to pretty much anything else
It doesn’t do half of what this thing does…

One Word.... ToneX
No comparison!
A bad failed attempt at the Kemper Player.
Neural missed the mark with this one.
have you tried it? these tones sound decent

oh look.... Tyler Shill yall
No song good
Let AI play your guitar already. Evidently it's better than us. Go back to basics and play the damn guitar without electronics already.
