I was playing ball in Jr. High *watching Frank Gore,* went to HS *watching Frank Gore,* went to College *watching Frank Gore,* went to the league and *played against Frank Gore* (final game of Candlestick), retired and was *watching Frank Gore STILL play.* facts
Frank is a man that walks silently in his blessing. He’s hardly mentioned publicly for the work he put in.

Gore was never really a flashy guy. At least in NFL, he was All Business. Media likes to twist guys around. But if your not doing wrong, they won't give that honor.

Primetime is hands down the best story out of this bunch. As someone who grew up around a town with an HBCU (Grew up in a town near Prairie View A&M) that never really had a team to draw in big crowds (except during homecoming), Primetime coming in and making a name for HBCU schools and stealing top recruits from WAY bigger schools, it could inspire more recruits to do the same and I love it and I'm here for it.

Neon Deon was as nasty as they got back in the day. Glad to see he's putting all that energy, skill, and experience back into the community. I really hope the kids he's coaching realize what a monumental opportunity they've been given.

Deion gave up his scholarship in his last year at FSU so that another player could have one (he was already in the mlb at the time). He always been a leader in the spotlight and behind the scenes, it’s awesome to see him do it at a larger scale now.

That was a nice thing to do and I love 21 but what he did was no big deal. Many others have done that. Quite a few football players have had baseball aspirations and have gotten sweet deals from baseball teams that allowed them to drop the fb scholarship.
His coaching at the HBCU is great, totally opposite the image he put forth as a player.

@@danielcoronado6483 If a player is a PITA/prima dona/lockeroom cancer, teams will only put up with him if he can perform at a high level. Once the PITA is only performing at a decent level, putting up with his BS is no longer worth the trouble. TO and similar PITA type players (e.g. Chad Ochocinco, Kaepernick) get kicked to the curb, while no-drama professionals like Frank Gore and Jerry Rice stick around years past their prime.

I love how you narrated the progression to get your main point which was prime. Dude was a superstar in every phase of his career. He is continuing to be an example to everyone while being genuinely himself and not self censoring. I love how you said what are you going to do in the 2nd phase of your life? Continue to talk about how it didn’t work out in the 1st phase or change it up in the 2nd. Never lose hope we can make our story how ever we want to.

*Video Idea:* Why do average NBA players (Phil Jackson, Riley, Kerr etc) become highly successful coaches/execs, but great players have nowhere near the success???

    • @t.bruceford4098
      @t.bruceford4098 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Coaching and playing are 2 different things. Coaching is teaching. Great players usually have something genetic that helps succeed. You cant teach genetics. So its hard for players to coach people who dont have the abilities.

I remember back in the day seeing in person, a young Steve McNair lead Alcorn State vs Howard University and Division I-AA All_American, future NFL quarterback, Jay Walker. After Howard went up 38-6, Steve McNair absolutely went off. McNair in the 2nd half threw for 300 yards, had 4 total touchdowns, only to lose to Howard in the end 48-42. It was at that moment, that McNair showed why he was not only a Heisman Finalist, but would be a future #3 overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft. May he continue to R.I.P.

Me being a Chicago Bears fan my first thoughts on Dion getting that job was "He better do Walter proud" Walter being Walter Payton. And he has and then some. Great program, great coach and the press that the HBU's have needed and deserved for years. You could feel the love when Prime went down ill and wasn't on the sideline at the end of the season. What many do not know is how bad he was and that he almost lost his leg. Wishing all of these people the best but Coach Prime holds a special place in my heart now even if I hated him as a player...remember I am a Bears fan.

During the pandemic he donated to a lot of local businesses to keep them going. His telling of potentially getting tackled by Troy Polamalu always makes me laugh.
James Harrison would be interesting too. He trains so hard and looks like the same as he did in his playing days and is also acting on a series on Starz. Not too bad for being undrafted and cut multiple times.

People give TO a hard time but I honestly like him. I believe he's one of the best and was also fun to watch.

Pat McAfee deserves a shout here. Former kicker for the Colts, who is now the lead commentator for WWE and has wrestled several matches.

I didn't choose this video. It just played automatically. I heard your voice coming through my phone and instinctively went to press the like button. Thanks for the content

The person drafted one after Frank Gore is O.J. Atogwe, a legend in my town and a legend in Canada. I currently go to the same highschool that O.J Atogwe went to

Also nice S/O to coach maynor and the WSSU picture took WSSU to the D2 natty game and he also was the stunt double for Jamie foxx in any given Sunday

Great video. Even if TO was broke and needed money, y'all not paying his bills, so don't worry about what he is doing. Go to the games an support the same way you did when he was in the NFL.

If you know what never happened we could put OJ Simpson on this list. He was constantly getting roles in shows and movies until murder trial.

Ok, so Watt may have had that 17th game, but bro, Strahan was given that last sack, straight up charity fall, by Brett Favre! Com’on now!!! That play was hard to watch. I know you feel me, bro. It’s all good. You don’t have to admit it out loud or publicly. Just throw me a wink and a nod on a future video. lol
Much love to you, my bro. I love your work. Thanks for always blessin us with your best efforts. You are only 1 of maybe 3 content creators that I do what I call the “stop, drop, and watch it” (with the beat to that song, POP, LOCK, & DROP IT by Huey in the back of my mind while I load your latest vid. 😂 🤣 🤣 🤣) I’ll literally STOP what I’m doin, DROP what’s in my hands other than my phone, and WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY once I get that notification that you jus dropped a new vid. Thanks again bro! You’re a quality dude! Blessings to you and your family!

Yo Flemlo, I'm glad you shared your story with Alcorn State and Southern, I was supposed to go to Delaware State, but they drug their feet on me and I ended up going to The Real HU, and won 3 straight CIAA Championships.

Bruh the psychology u add to these athletes humanizing them (which they should be) needs to be in the mainstream. It’s not condoning but at least providing background for understanding. Keep it up bruh
